Objective To explore the effect of mobile phone-based health education on independent living ability of postoperative patients with hypertensive intracerebral hemorrhage. Methods Sixty patients with postoperative hypertensive intracerebral hemorrhage who underwent craniotomy in our hospital during March 2016 and December 2017 were divided into experimental and control groups, 30 cases in each group, according to the random number table method. Functional training conducted during hospitalization in both groups. After discharge, the control group used a telephone for follow-ups every 2 weeks and took part in a face-to-face training in the first month to implement continuous nursing intervention for a total of 3 months. After discharge, in the experimental group, various information forms of rehabilitation training for hypertensive intracerebral hemorrhage were comprehensively integrated, and mobile phone education was used for a total of 3 months in addition to the training as in the control group. The two groups were compared in terms of independent living ability between the two groups. Result The scores of independent living ability and self-care ability, action ability, metastatic ability, social cognitive ability and communication ability of the experimental group were significantly higher than those of the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion The mobile phone-based education can promote the effect of rehabilitation exercise in patients with hypertensive intracerebral hemorrhage, so as to promote the independent living ability of patients.

Objective To investigate the mechanisms of miRNA-15a and miRNA-16 in the process of reversing cisplatin resistance in ovarian cancer. Methods Human ovarian cancer cisplatin-resistant cell lines CoC1/DDP were transfected with miRNA-15a and miRNA-16 mimics and treated with cisplatin.qRT-PCR was used to detect the expression levels of miRNA-15a and miRNA-16 in normal CoC1/DDP cell group, cisplatin treated group, negative control group,miRNA-15a transfected group,miRNA-16 transfected group and overexpressed Bmi-1 plasmid.Western blot was used to detect the expression level of Bmi-1 in each group,CCK-8 and Annexin V/PI were used to detect cell survival and apoptosis, and γ-H2AX immunofluorescence was used to detect cell apoptosis. Results The CoC1/DDP ovarian cancer cell line shows low expression of miRNA-15a and miRNA-16,and high expression of Bmi-1 protein, which makes it resistant to cisplatin. When the levels of miRNA-15a and miRNA-16 are overexpressed, the Bmi-1 protein decreases(P<0.05),leading to a decrease in cell survival rate(P<0.05),a significant increase in DNA apoptosis(P<0.05),and more severe DNA damage(P<0.05).Overexpression of Bmi-1 plasmid can increase cell viability(P<0.05)and reduce the rate of cell apoptosis(P<0.05).Conclusion The Bmi-1 protein may be a target for the regulation of miRNA-15a and miRNA-16,and overexpression of miRNA-15a and miRNA-16 can increase the sensitivity of ovarian cancer cells to cisplatin by reducing the Bmi-1 protein. This provides a new idea for predicting molecular markers of cisplatin resistance in ovarian cancer and overcoming drug resistance targets in ovarian cancer.

Objective Based on Chinese guidelines for the management of ischemic stroke, a standardized stroke management program was performed to provide intensive education and training for medical physicians, aiming to enhance their knowledge and ability for ischemic stroke prevention and treatment, thereby reducing patients′ in-hospital cost and length of stay, and improving patients′ clinical prognosis. Methods This study was conducted in 20 general hospitals throughout Hainan province. A total of 163 physicians from 20 hospitals involved in the management of stroke patients were trained by highly experienced physicians based on the Chinese guidelines for diagnosis and treatment of acute ischemic stroke 2014 and the Chinese guidelines for secondary prevention of ischemic stroke and transient ischemic attack 2014. Prior to and post the standardized stroke management training, the data of 3218 and 3367 patients with ischemic stroke were respectively collected. Quality of life assessments including the Barthel index (BI) and the modified Rankin Scale (mRS) score of all patients were recorded at baseline and after discharge. The length of stay and in-hospital cost were directly collected from the hospital information system. Results Physicians′ knowledge and ability manifested as testing scores were significantly improved after training (78.2 ± 15.5 vs 55.6 ± 10.7, t=69.1, P<0.01). The average length of stay of post-training patients was significantly shorter than that of pre-training patients ((8.7 ± 0.9) vs (11.7 ± 1.5) days, t=97.9, P<0.01). The average in-hospital cost of post-training patients was significantly less than that of pre-training patients ((7681.7 ± 1397.7) vs (11846.2 ± 2514.6) Yuan, t=82.5, P<0.01). Both BI (68.2 ± 3.2 vs 43.5 ± 5.3, t=227.7, P<0.01) and mRS score (2.74±0.51 vs 3.65±0.71, t=59.5, P<0.01) were significantly improved for post-training patients. Multivariate linear regression analysis illustrated that standardized stroke management was negatively associated with in-hospital cost (r=-0.461, P<0.01), length of stay (r=-0.357, P<0.01) and mRS score (r=-0.298, P<0.01), and was positively associated with levels of BI (r=0.376, P<0.01). Conclusion Standardized stroke management program might be a cost-effective choice for the management of ischemic stroke as it reduces the in-hospital cost and improves patients′BI and mRS levels.

Objective:To compare the effects of drug-loaded microsphere TACE (D-TACE) and iodinated oil emulsion TACE (cTACE) on liver fibrosis in the treatment of advanced hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC).Methods:Clinical data of 113 patients with HCC treated with D-TACE or cTACE at the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University from October 2019 to September 2020 were retrospectively analyzed, including 96 males and 17 females, aged (56.8±9.8) years old. According to treatment protocol, patients were divided into two groups: the D-TACE group ( n=57) and the cTACE group ( n=56). Liver fibrosis panel, fibrosis index (FIB-4), aspartate aminotransferase to platelet ratio index (APRI), and liver stiffness measurement (LSM) were compared between the groups at four timepoints: pre-treatment, one month after the first TACE, one month after the second TACE, and 12 months after the first TACE. Follow-ups were conducted through outpatient visits or telephone reviews to assess patient survivals. Data including the progression-free survival (PFS) and number of TACE sessions were compared between the two groups. Results:The D-TACE group received 2.84±1.12 sessions of treatment during the observation period, compared to 4.05±1.44 sessions of cTACE group ( t=4.94, P<0.001). The median PFS in D-TACE and cTACE groups were 10.0 and 5.0 months, respectively ( P<0.001). At one month after the second TACE and at 12 months after the first TACE, patients in cTACE group had a higher serum levels of fibrosis markers including hyaluronic acid, type IV collagen, type III procollagen N peptide and laminin than those in D-TACE group (all P<0.05). At the same timepoints, patients in cTACE group also had higher APRI, FIB-4 and LSM than those in D-TACE group (all P<0.05). Conclusion:Compared to cTACE, patients in D-TACE group received fewer sessions of treatment during the first year after initial TACE, and the degree of liver fibrosis was also lower in D-TACE group.

Objective:To estimate the influence of metabolic parameters in 18F-FDG PET/CT and clinically relevant indicators on the prognosis of patients with cervical cancer. Methods:A total of 174 patients with cervical cancer (age (53.6±11.1) years) who underwent baseline 18F-FDG PET/CT examination in the Affiliated Hospital of Qingdao University from May 2011 to December 2020 were retrospectively collected. Metabolic parameters (metabolic tumor volume of primary lesion (MTV p), total lesion glycolysis of primary lesion (TLG p), MTV sum of total lesions (MTV total) in the whole body, TLG sum of total lesions (TLG total)) and clinical parameters (International Federation of Gynecology and Obstetrics (FIGO) stage, tumor maximum diameter ( Dmax), et al) were collected. Cox regression and Kaplan-Meier method were performed to evaluate the prognostic and predictive values of those parameters. Results:The follow-up time was 6-120 months, during which 52 patients (29.9%, 52/174) developed progression. The 5-year overall survival (OS), progression-free survival (PFS), local control (LC) and distant metastasis-free survival (DMFS) rates were 83.3%(145/174), 70.1%(122/174), 75.3%(131/174) and 82.8%(144/174), respectively. Cox regression showed that FIGO stage and MTV total were independent factors for predicting PFS, OS and LC (hazard ratio ( HR): 1.005-11.605, all P<0.05). FIGO stage and TLG total were independent factors for predicting DMFS ( HR: 1.002-12.258, all P<0.05). Conclusion:MTV total and FIGO stage are effective predictors of patients with cervical squamous cell carcinoma.

Objective:To analyze the symmetry of different reference planes in the surgical simulation design of patients with protrusive jaw deformity with high and low eyes. Methods:Fifteen patients with partial jaw deformity were selected from January 2019 to June 2020, including 3 males and 12 females, aged 18-26 years, with average 23.78 years. Inclusion criteria were that the patients, aged more than 18 years, were diagnosed as protrusive jaw deformity with maxillary occlusal plane tilt and high and low eyes by clinical and imaging analysis. Three different 3D reference plane systems were established by different modeling methods. The distance between the landmarks of soft and hard tissues and the median sagittal plane was measured. The symmetry of skull was qualitatively analyzed by mirror image technique. The difference of three reference planes in surgical simulation symmetry of patients with protrusion jaw and high and low eyes was evaluated by one-way ANOVA.Results:Qualitative analysis showed that in the three measurement planes, the symmetry of the third reference plane was the best, and the symmetry of the second and the first was poor. Quantitative analysis showed that in measurement index of hard tissue, there was statistical difference between the distance of each landmark in the reference plane established by Method 3 and Method 1, Method 2 [(1.65±1.19) mm; (3.37±1.58) mm; (3.26±2.36) mm, P<0.05], but there was no statistical difference between Method 1 and Method 2 (P > 0.05). The measurement result of soft tissue was consistent with that of hard tissue, and the distance of each landmark in Method 3 from the median sagittal plane was very small, and the mean error was less than 0.5 mm, which was consistent with the clinical results. Conclusions:Digital model surgery technology can assist orthognathic surgeons in the design and prediction of surgical scheme, especially for patients with special partial jaw deformity.

China Pharmacy 2024;35(11):1408-1412
Breast cancer (BC) ranks first in the incidence rate of female malignant tumor, the notable features of which include high invasive behavior, high malignant degree and poor prognosis. Resveratrol, a plant antioxidant, has been identified as a potential therapeutic agent for the occurrence and progress of BC. This article explores the mechanism of resveratrol intervention in BC by evaluating several in vitro and in vivo studies. It was found that resveratrol can weaken the proliferation and survival ability of BC cells, suppress their growth, metastasis, and invasion, and reverse their resistance to adriamycin by promoting cell apoptosis, regulating autophagy, inhibiting glycolysis and regulating the tumor microenvironment, expressions of matrix metalloproteinases, epithelial-mesenchymal transition and drug-resistant proteins, etc. The limited number of clinical trial studies on resveratrol, mainly focusing on prevention effect of it on breast cancer, may be one of the reasons that affect the comprehensive evaluation of the anti-cancer efficacy of resveratrol.
