Journal of Acupuncture and Tuina Science 2004;2(3):24-25
Selected mainly were acupoints in the adjacent areas and along the meridians, assisted by ashi points. Fengmen (BL 12), Geshu (BL 17) and Xuehai (SP 10) were selected for migratory arthralgia;Shenshu (BL 23) and Guanyuan (CV 4) for cold-aggravated arthralgia; Pishu (BL 20), Zusanli (ST 36)and Yinlingquan (SP 9) for damp arthralgia; Dazhui (GV 14) and Quchi (LI 11) for heat-induced arthralgia. Acupuncture in combination with far infra-red radiation was performed.76 patients with rheumatoid arthritis were treated and 74 cases with herb therapy as control. The result showed that there was statistically significant difference in curative effect between the 2 groups, χ 2=10.18, P< 0.01, indicating that the curative effect was significantly better in the treatment group than in the control group. Statistics showed that there was no significant difference in curative effect among the 4 syndromic types, namely migratory arthralgia, cold-aggravated arthralgia, damp-induced arthralgia and heat-induced arthralgia. But there was a statistically significant difference in curative effect between the above 4 syndromic types and deficiency-type arthralgia, indicating that the curative effect in deficiency-type arthralgia was worst.
2.MiR-26b regulates invasion and migration of lung cancer cells through targeting hENTI depending on RhoA/ROCK-I pathway
Journal of Central South University(Medical Sciences) 2017;42(7):755-761
Objective:To investigate the effect of miR-26b on the invasion and migration of lung cancer cell and to explore its mechanism. Methods:qPCR was used to detect the expression of miR-26b in lung cancer.Luciferase reporter gene was used to detect interaction between miR-26b and hENT1.Transwell assay was used to detect invasion ability after treatment of miR-26b mimics.Scratch assay was used to detect migration ability after treatment of miR-26b mimics. The expressions of hENT1,ROCK-I and RhoA were detected by Western blot. The changes of cytoskeleton after miR-26b mimics treatment with phalloidin were observed. The effect of miR-26b mimics on the tumor size and volume of lung cancer was determined by subcutaneous tumor formation in nude mice.Results:MiR-26b expression was significantly reduced in lung cancer. With the progress of lung cancer, the expression of miR-26b was reduced. With the progress in differentiation of lung cancer, the expression of miR-26b was decreased.Decrease of miR-26b was associated with lung cancer lymph node metastasis.HENT1 was the direct target of miR-26b;miR-26b regulated the invasion and migration ability of human lung carcinoma A549 cells.MiR-26b regulated the expression of hENT1,ROCK-1 and RhoA.After the treatment with miR-26b mimics, the F-actin staining was significantly reduced, whereas the formation of wrinkles and the formation of pseudopodia were significantly reduced.Subcutaneous tumor formation in nude mice showed that miR-26b mimics treatment significantly reduced the tumor size and mass.Conclusion:MiR-26b plays a role in tumor suppression in lung cancer.miR-26b can regulate the invasion and migration ability of lung carcinoma A549 cells by targeting hENT1 depending on the RhoA/ROCK-1 pathway.

5.Antibiotic Use in 2004
Chinese Journal of Nosocomiology 2006;0(02):-
OBJECTIVE To survey antibiotic use and its rationality in clinical settings. METHODS Randomly selected medical records of 500 patients from Oct to Dec of 2004 were reviewed for retrospective studies.Analysis with regard to drug category combination purpose, therapeatic course, indications and resistance was conducted. RESULTS The incidence of antibiotic use was 98%,31% of which was intended for active treatment, and 69% for preventive regimen;65% of the cases in internal medicine were for active treatment, and 34% for preventive regimen,45% of the cases in surgical use were for active treatment, and 54% were for preventive purposes. The total number of antibiotic use was 539 case-times.In terms of preventive use, single drug comprised 57%,bi-drug therapy 19%,before operations 19%,and local use was 5%.As for active treatment single drug consisted of 49%,two-drugs 27%,three-drugs 7%,and four-drugs 1%,local use accounted for 16%.Fifty five cases of the therapeutic use of antibiotics were reviewed, taking up 28% of the total with 19 positive cases, whose positive rate accounted for 35%. CONCLUSIONS The administration of the reasonable use of antibiotics is a systematic project.
6.THE OBSERVATION ON THE BEATING AND GROWTH CHARACTERISTICS OF THE PRIMARY MYOCARDIAL TISSUE CULTURE OF HUMAN FETUS
Acta Anatomica Sinica 1954;0(02):-
Myocardial tissue masses were isolated from two human fetus of 10 and 16 week's gestation respectively and they were cultured under the conditions for cultivating the myocardial cells of the rodents. Spontaneous beating occured. In one case the frequency of beating was 21~27 beats/min, and the beating lasted for 30 days until the culture was terminated artifitially. In another case a cell mass continued to beat as long as 75 days with a frequency of 200~290 beats/min, and then stopped spontaneously. The differences in thickness and shapes of the tissue masses would influence the modes of growth after culturing. Thicker tissue mass grew more slowly and the fibroblasts and myocardial cells grew and spreaded out radially, or in band form. In tissue mass with a thin border the marginal myocardial cells bulged out in globular shape in the early stage and then separated from the cell mass and continued to grow. In thin layered tissue mass, because of the rapid overgrowth of the surrounding fibroblasts, the myocardial tissue would grow and overlap them and increased steadily in thickness. This procedure is simple and relatively stable, and possible to retain the long-lasting beating of the myocardial tissus, but it is difficult to obtain a pure myocardial cell culture for cell counts and other quantitative studies.
7.Nosocomial Infection Investigation in 1620 Cases
Chinese Journal of Nosocomiology 2006;0(12):-
OBJECTIVE To assess the current status of nosocomial infection and antibiotics utilization of the hospital.METHODS The hospital infection rate was investigated,by means of prevalence survey and investigation of bed-side and cases records.RESULTS Of the 1620 surveyed cases, the prevalence rate was 5.49% and the case prevalence rate 5.93%.And the top three infected sites were the lower respiratory tract, upper respiratory tract and urinary tract(48.88%,13.54% and 10.42%,respectively).The total number of antibiotic use was 599 case-times.The incidence of antibiotic use was 36.9%.Of 322 cases,53.76% was intended for active treatment, and 34.56% for preventive regimen.CONCLUSIONS It is necessary to strengthen management of hospital infection and the management of clinical antibiotic usage in some wards.

9.Advances in Optimization of Hyaluronic Acid Production by Genetic Engineering Technology
China Biotechnology 2017;37(8):72-77
Hyaluronic acid is a linear acid mucopolysaccharide composed of repeating disaccharide glucuronic acid and N-acetyl-glucosamine units, which is widely used in medicine, cosmetics, food and other fields.Traditional studies have made significant achievements in improving the production of hyaluronic acid by optimizing the fermentation parameters, but have reached the upper limit, and the natural strains have the increasing disadvantages of high cost of fermentation medium and pathogenicity. With the rapid development of molecular biology technology and the continuous research on the genes related to hyaluronic acid synthesis, the research focus has gradually shifted to the use of genetic engineering technology to construct high yield, safe and specific molecular weight hyaluronan genetically engineered strains. Here the strategies and research progress of genetic engineering for the production of hyaluronic acid were reviewed.
10.Effects of resveratrol on levels of ceramide via regulating miRNA-122 in treating non-alcoholic fatty liver disease
Chinese Journal of Pathophysiology 2017;33(8):1506-1513
AIM: To observe the therapeutical effects of resveratrol on non-alcoholic fatty liver disease and its potential mechanism.METHODS: Male C57BL/6J mice were fed with high-fat and high-cholesterol diet to established non alcoholic fatty liver disease model, and were administrated with resveratrol at doses of 80 mg/kg and 160 mg/kg.After 4-week treatment, the blood sample was collected for determination of total cholesterol (TC) and triglyceride (TG).The liver tissues were harvested for measuring the liver lipid content. The histopathological examination were conducted with hematoxylin and eosin staining. The ceramide levels in the liver tissues were detected by HPLC-MS.The microRNA (mi-RNA)-122 levels in the liver tissues were detected by real-time PCR.The protein levels of serine palmitoyltransferase (SPT) were determined by Western blot. The HepG2 cells were cultured and divided into 5 groups: control group, model group (induced by 0.25 mmol/L oleic acid), model+resveratrol group (treated with 5 μmol/L resveratrol), miRNA-122 siRNA group and resveratrol+miRNA-122 siRNA group.Except control group, the cells in other groups were stimulated with oleic acid and incubated with respective drugs simultaneously for 24 h.The levels of TC, TG and ceramide in the cells of each group were measured. The protein levels of SPT in each group were determined by Western blot.RESULTS: In non-alcoholic fatty liver disease mice, resveratrol dose-dependently reduced the serum TC and TG levels, decreased the lipid deposition, the ceramide level and the SPT protein level, and increased the level of miRNA-122 in the liver tissues. In the in vitro study, compared with model group, resveratrol reduced the serum TC and TG levels, decreased the ceramide level, reduced the SPT protein level.Compared with control group, the levels of TC, TG and ceramide, and the protein expression of SPT were increased in miRNA-122 siRNA group.Compared with miRNA-122 siRNA group, no statistical difference of TC, TG, ceramide and protein expression of SPT in resveratrol combined miRNA-122 siRNA group was observed.CONCLUSION: Resveratrol significantly reduces lipid accumulation by reduction of miRNA-122 and ceramide levels, and decrease in SPT protein levels in the liver.
