Objective To evaluate the value of serum tumor markers in diagnosis of over 80 years old patients with colorectal cancer.Methods Serum CA199,CA242 and CEA of 68 cases senile patients with colorectal cancer and 35 cases senile patients with benign large intestinal diseases were detected by ELISA.Results Serum levels of CA199,CA242 and CEA in patients with colorectal cancer were (37.95 ± 15.95 ) U/ml,( 50.08 ± 24.20 ) U/ml,( 22.34 ± 17.35 ) μg/L respectively and were significantly higher than that in patients with benign large intestinal diseases CA199 ( 10.73 ± 6.27 ) U/ml,CA242 ( 8.00 ± 3.52 ) U/ml,CEA(2.32 ± 1.01 )μg/L.In addition,the level of these three markers was increased with the progress of colorectal cancer and the sensitivity of diagnosis was related with the stages of colorectal cancer.Parallel combined testing methods increased the diagnostic sensitivity to 83.6％,and serial combined testing increased the diagnostic specificity to 88.7 ％.Conclusions Serum tumor markers showed certain values in the diagnosis of the senile patients with colorectal carcinoma.Furthermore,the combined determination of tumor markers is helpful for early diagnosis of colorectal cancer and increases the sensitivity and specificity in diagnosing of colorectal carcinoma.

Mitochondrial oxidative stress has been recognized as a preliminary and critical factor that aggravates the pathological cascade of Alzheimer's disease, which induces the production of β-amyloid protein, upregulates the expression of phosphorylated tau protein and triggers oxidative damage to lipids, proteins and mitochondrial deoxyribonucleic acid. Central neurons are more vulnerable to oxidative stress than non-neuronal cells due to their high oxygen demand, abundant unsaturated fatty acids and antioxidant enzymes deficiency. On this account, this review introduces the causes of mitochondrial oxidative stress, and analyzes the important role of mitochondrial oxidative stress in the pathogenesis of Alzheimer's disease. Meanwhile, the review focuses on the design and intervention strategies of drug delivery systems targeting mitochondrial oxidative stress in neurons, aiming to provide new ideas for the prevention and treatment of Alzheimer's disease.

The special environmental features of high altitude, such as hypobaric hypoxia, low temperature, arid, high solar radiation, variable climate and geochemical anomaly, cause great effects on human physiology and health. It will provide valuable references and new ideas to study drug's metabolism in special environment of high altitude hypoxia, and give the guidance to clinical reasonable medication, avoiding adverse reactions and personalized medicine in plateau areas. This article reviewed the effect of high altitude hypoxia on drug metabolism, elaborated metabolic characteristics of some drugs and the activity and expression of drug metabolism enzymes under hypoxia environment at high altitude, and discussed related mechanism.

Objective To evaluate the genotoxicity of europium nitrate to the Vicia faba L root-tip cells. Methods The primary roots of Vicia faba L were cultured for 6 hours in the solution of Eu series(64,32,16,8,4,2,1 ?g/ml) at 25℃.And then the roots were repair-cultured in double distilled water for 24 h. The root tips of Vicia faba L were dissected and fixed,stained and the micronucleus rate,mitotic index and the rate of chromosomal aberrations were determined. Results From 1 ?g/ml to 32 ?g/ml,the rate of micronucleus increased with the increasing of the europium nitrate dosage(D),presented a dosage-effect relationship(r=0.949). From 2 ?g/ml to 64 ?g/ml,mitotic index decreased with the increasing of the europium nitrate dosage,presented a dosage-effect relationship(r=-0.852). From 1 ?g/ml to 64 ?g/ml,chromosome fragments(CF) and frequency of chromosomal aberrations(FCA) increased with the increasing of the europium nitrate dosage with a dosage-effect relationship significantly(rD-CF=0.915,rD-FCA=0.872). Conclusion Europium nitrate has the certain genetic toxicity to the Vicia faba L root-tip cells. The chromosome fragments may be one of the reasons to produce micronucleus.

Objective To evaluate the expression of cytoplasmic CD_ 79a(CyCD_ 79a)on different acute leukemia(AL)cells and to explore its significance.Methods CyCD_ 79aexpression on the leukemic cells from 221 acute leukemia patients diagnosed from January 2003 to April 2004 was retrospectively analyzed by three-color cytometry with CD_ 45/SSC gating strategy.Results CyCD_ 79awas positive in 100%(57/57)of B cell-acute lymphoblastic leukemia(B-ALL)cases,which was higher than that of other B cell-associated antigens(CD_ 10,CD_ 19,CD_ 20and cytoplasmic CD_ 22)in B-ALL.Only 0.7%(1/134)of acute myeloid leukemia(AML)cases and 13.3%(2/15)of T cell-acute leukemia(T-ALL)cases expressed CyCD_ 79a,respectively.Conclusion CyCD_ 79ais sensitive and specific for B-ALL.CyCD_ 79amay be used as a reliable immunophenotyping marker for the diagnosis of B-ALL and be used to distinguish B-ALL from T-ALL and AML.

Objective: To study the antioxidative and antilipemic effect of the flavonoids purified from pomelo (Citrus grandis L.Osbeck) peel. Methods: The flavonoids were isolated and purified by NKA-12 macroporous adsorption resin and the polyamide column chromatography, and preparative TLC and HPLC. DPPH radical scavenging potential and inhibition of human LDL oxidation in vitro were determined. The effects TG , TC, HDL-C and LDL-C were investigated in mice with hypercholesterolemia induced by egg yolk. Results: Three kinds of flavonoids antioxidants named P11, P12 and P2, deduced as hesperidin, naringin and eriocitrin, were purified from pomelo peel. AIM: To observe the effect of compound anisodine injection combined with yi-qi-tong-luo acupuncture, hot compress and massage for blepharospasm.
METHODS: Selected in our hospital, 60 cases (78 eyes) with blepharospasm were randomly divided into two groups, 30 cases 39 eyes in each group. The observation group were treated with compound anisodine injection combined with yi - qi - tong - luo acupuncture treatment, and supplemented by hot compress and massage, while the control group only with compound anisodine injection. We compared the treatment effect of the two groups.
RESULTS: In the observation group, 38 eyes were clinically effective, 1 eye was invalid, 35 eyes marked, the total effective rate was 97%, the markedly effective rate was 90%; in control group, 32 eyes were the clinically effective, 7 eyes invalid, 23 eyes marked, the total effective rate was 82%, the markedly effective rate was 59%; the total effective rate and markedly effective rate of observation group were higher than those of the control group with statistical difference (P<0. 05). The recurrence rates of the two groups were 5% and 34%, respectively, and the recurrence rate of the observation group was significantly lower than that of the control group ( P <0. 05).
CONCLUSION: The compound anisodine injection combined with yi - qi - tong - luo acupuncture, hot compress and massage for blepharospasm, can significantly improve the efficiency of treatment, with higher effective rate and lower recurrence rate, compared with using compound anisodine alone.

Objective Analysis of clinical distribution and susceptibility to antimicrobial agents in producing extended spectrumβ-lactamases (ESBLs)of Escherichia coli(ECO)and Klebsiella pneumoniae (KPN).Methods The samples from 2013 April to 2014 December in Changji Prefecture People′s Hospital were cultured and identified,drug sensitivity test did by VITEK2compat au-tomatic bacteria analysis,phenotypic confirmatory test was did on producing ESBLs ECO and KPN,and the clinical distribution and drug resistance was analyzed.Results 1 576 strains of ECO and KPN isolated 306 strains of producing ESBLs strains and 343 strains of multi drug resistant bacteria,the isolation rates were 1 9.4% and 21.8% respectively.In 576 strains of ECO,there were 1 77 strains of producing ESBLs strains and 202 strains of multi drug resistant bacteria were isolated,the separation rates were 30.7% and 35.1% respectively,generic drug resistant strains were not found,and those producing ESBLs strains were isolated mainly from the urine specimens (39.5%),and mainly from the ICU (37.3%)and (29.9%)the surgical ward.There were 129 strains of producing ESBLs strains,141 strains of multi drug resistant bacteria and 4 generic drug resistant strains were isolated from 1 000 strains of KPN,the separation rates were 12.9%,14.1% and 0.4% respectively,and those producing ESBLs strains were isolated mainly from sputum specimens (83.7%),and mainly from the ICU (42.6%)and(29.5%)in the department of inter-nal medicine.Isolation of producing ESBLs ECO and multi drug resistant bacteria were higher than KPN,the difference were statis-tically significant (P <0.05).The sensitivities of ECO and KPN ESBLs strains to carbapenems imipenem andaminoglycosides ami-kacin and compound preparation piperacillin/tazobactam were good,the other antimicrobial drug resistance rates were more than 50.0%.Conclusion ESBLs ECO mainly causes urinary tract infections,KPN mainly causes respiratory tract infection.Detection rates of producing ESBLs ECO and KPN were high,and the multi drug resistance is serious,should strengthen the monitoring of drug resistance on producing ESBLs strains,and according to the results of drug susceptibility,standardize the rational use of anti-microbial agents,and to strengthen the management of antimicrobial agents,delay the occurrence of bacterial resistance.

Objective To study the value of tumor markers of CA153,CEA and CA125 in nipple discharge of breast intraductal papillary leision on detection of breast carcinoma.Methods 154 cases of breast intraductal papillary leision with nipple discharge were studied.Among them there were 58 cases with breast intraductal papillary carcinoma and 96 cases with intraductal papilloma.The nipple discharged and serum from the 154 cases were collected and CA153,CEA and CA125 levels were measured both in nipple discharge and serum with electrochemiluminescence method,and were compared with the results of ER,PR,HIF-1α and Ki-67 detected by SP method in breast tissue.Results The CA153,CEA and CA125 levels of nipple discharge in intraductal papillary carcinoma [(130.1 1±29.62) U/ml,(89.23±28.94) ng/ml,(41.29±16.61) U/ml]were significantly higher than those of the contrast groups,and had a positive correlation with the Ki-67,HIF-1αand lymphnode metastas (P ＜ 0.05),and negative correlation with the level of ER,PR and Her-2 (P ＜ 0.05).The positive rate of CA153,CEA or CA125 in nipple discharge (62.07 ％,46.55 ％,55.17 ％) were significantly higher than that in serum (P ＜ 0.05).The sensitivity of the combined detection of the three tumor markes both in discharge and serum was 96.55 ％,and the negative predictive value was 97.30 ％,which were significantly higher than that in other detection (P ＜ 0.05).Conclusions The positive rate of CA153,CEA and CA125 in nipple discharge were significantly higher than that in serum.The dynamic combined detection of CA153,CEA and CA125 both in nipple discharge and in serum could increase the diagnosis rate of breast intraductal papillary carcinoma.
