ObjectiveTo compare the correlation and agreement of international normalized ratio (INR) measured by INRatio coagulometer and standard laboratory venous blood measurement in order to judge the clinical application value of measuring INR by INRatio coagulometer.MethodsOne hundred who received warfarin were chosen randomly.Venous blood and finger capillary blood were taken simultaneously for measurement of INR by laboratory coagulation analyzer SYSMEX CA-7000 and INRatio coagulometer respectively.The correlation and agreement of INR results tested by the two methods were analyzed.Results When INR ≤5,there was a good correlation between INRatio coagulometer and laboratory coagulation analyzer SYSMEX CA-7000 (r =0.898,P =0.000).The mean bias of the two methods was 0.36 and INR measured by INRatio coagulometer were higher than those tested by laboratory coagulation analyzer SYSMEX CA-7000.By Bland-Altman,it showed a good agreement for 91.2％ (62/68) of the difference INR located 95％ the limited of agreement when the mean INR 1.60 - 3.50,and a bad agreement for only 50.0％(1/2) of the difference INR located 95％ the limited of agreement when the mean INR ＞ 3.50.ConclusionsIn the therapeutic range,INR measured by INRatio coagulometer shows a good correlation and agreement with INR measured by the established laboratory method.INRatio coagulometer can be used to monitor INR in the patients received oral anticoagulant therapy.

Recurrent respiratory tract infection (RRTI) is a common chronic respiratory disease of children.The pathogenesis is complex,etiology and treatment methods are varied.Probiotics are immune modulators with extensive clinical application.This paper reviewed the changes of intestinal microflora in children with recurrent respiratory tract infection and the mechanisms of probiotic treatment including intestinal flora regulation,intestinal mucosal barrier,stimulation of the growth of intestinal mucosa and immune regulation.

This study was aimed to observe effects of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) treatment from lung on mRNA expressions of iNOS in lung tissues of rats with ulcerative colitis (UC). A total of 52 rats were used to estab-lish the UC rat model by using rabbit intestinal mucosal tissue allergenic model and TNBS-ethanol model (with the model success rate of 78%). Eight rats, which were randomly selected from 40 successfully modeled rats and the normal group, were used as the model group and the normal group before intervention (time point of week zero). The rest 32 successfully modeled rats were randomly divided into the model group, the western medicine (salazosulfapyri-dine) group, treatment from lung (Huang-Qi Jie-Geng, HQJG decoction) group, and treatment from intestine (Huang-Qi Huang-Lian, HQHL decoction) group, with 8 rats in each group. Another 8 normal rats were used as the control group. The intervention was given for 4 weeks. And the mRNA expression of iNOS was detected in week ze-ro, and four weeks after the treatment using real time-PCR. The results showed that in the acute phase of week zero, the mRNA level of iNOS in lung tissues of model group was significantly increased compared with that in normal group (P < 0.05); after 4-week treatment, compared with the normal group, the mRNA level of iNOS in the model group was significantly increased (P< 0.05). Compared with the model group, the mRNA level of iNOS in the treat-ment from lung group was significantly decreased (P < 0.01). It was concluded that NO which was catalyzed and synthesized by iNOS played an important role in pulmonary diseases. It can cause airway inflammation, edema, lung injury, and etc. Treatment from lung can alleviate the lung injury by inhibiting abnormal activation of iNOS.

Objective To explore the central mechanism of acupuncture at Baihui (GV20) for memory impairment after stroke. Methods 32 stroke patients were randomized to receive acupuncture at Baihui (GV20) (as observation group) and acupuncture at Yanglingquan (GB34) (as control group) for 8 weeks. At the meantime, all participants received routine treatment including physical and occupational therapies. They were scanned with resting-state functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) to find functional connectivity and assessed with Wechsler Memory Scale (WMS) before and after treatment. The results of WMS and functional connectivity were analyzed with Pearson's correlation. Results The memory scores and memory quotient improved significantly after treatment in the observation group (P<0.05). The functional connectivity significantly increased occurred in the left hippocampus to right inferior frontal gyrus, right middle frontal gyrus and left inferior frontal gyrus; and right hippocampus to left middle frontal gyrus, left superior frontal gyrus and left parietal lobe. Significant correlations were found between memory quotient and functional connectivity of hippocampus to frontal lobe and left parietal lobe in the observation group. There was no statistical significance in memory scores and memory quotient in the control group. The functional connectivity significantly decreased in left hippocampus to right middle occipital gyrus, and right hippocampus to right superior temporal gyrus and right posterior lobe of cerebellum. There was no statistical correlation between functional connectivity and results of WMS. Conclusion The acupuncture at Baihui can improves memory ability of stroke patients, which may associate with the increase of functional connectivity of hippocampus with frontal lobes and parietal lobes.

Objective:This study was conducted to evaluate whether or not immediate breast reconstruction influences quality of life and patient body image satisfaction outcomes among Chinese women with breast cancer compared with modified radical mastecto-my. Methods:Sixty patients with breast cancer and were operated from July 2011 to July 2012 in Cancer Institute&Hospital, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences and Peking Union Medical College were included. These patients were divided into two groups:Ⅰ(30 patients) underwent modified radical mastectomy andⅡ(30 patients) underwent mastectomy with immediate breast reconstruction. Pa-tient satisfaction with breast reconstruction was evaluated by functionally assessing cancer therapy-breast cancer scale (FACT-B) and the scales that we designed. Results:No significant differences were observed between the two groups in terms of baseline characteris-tics, histopathological characteristics, and incision conditions (P>0.05). The patients in groupⅡ(immediate breast reconstruction) ex-hibited improved body image satisfaction outcomes (41.1 ± 10.8 vs. 33.2 ± 8.8, P=0.003);this difference was still observed after adjust-ment for confounding factors was performed by multiple linear regression. No significant difference was found between the two groups in terms of total FACT-B score and psychological evaluation score (P>0.05). Conclusion:Chinese women who prefer immediate breast reconstruction exhibited an improved body image satisfaction.

Objective To investigate the application value of virtual touch tissues quantization(VTQ)in the stages of type 2 diabetic nephropathy.Methods 120 cases of type 2 diabetes were divided into 3 groups according to urinary albumin excretion rate (UAER):diabetes without urinary albumin,diabetes with trace albuminuria and diabetes with mass albuminuria.The control group consisted 30 normal cases.VTQ was used to measure the renal shear wave velocity (SWV),then compare were made between the 4 groups.Besides,correlation analysis was made between SWV and UAER in diabetic nephropathy group.Results When compared SWV,there was no significant difference between diabetes without urinary albumin and control group (P =0.144),but there was significant difference between each 2 group of diabetes with trace albuminuria,diabetics with mass albuminuria group and control group (P ＜ 0.05).There was also significant difference between each 2 group of diabetes (P ＜ 0.05).The correlation coefficients for SWV and UAER in diabetes were 0.697(P ＜0.05).ROC analyses showed the area under curves for SWV diagnosis for diabetic nephropathy was 0.93.The best cutoff point,sensitivity and specificity were 2.43 m/s,85.7％ and 84.5 ％,respectively.Conclusions The renal SWV increases as the renal injury progresses,which also plays an important role in diabetic nephropathy stages.

Objective To explore the relationship among psychological flexibility,anxiety and depression in postoperative thyroid carcinoma patients.Methods A total of 184 postoperative thyroid carcinoma patients selected randomly were measured with Acceptance and Action Questionnaire-Second Edition (AAQ-Ⅱ),Cognitive Fusion Questionnaire (CFQ),Self-Rating Anxiety Scale (SAS),Self-rating depression scale (SDS),and the Meaning in Life Questionnaire-the presence of meaning(MLQ-P).Variance analysis,pearson correlation analysis and stepwise multiple regression analysis were conducted in 157 questionnaires which were effective.Results The scores of AAQ-Ⅱ,CFQ,SAS,SDS,MLQ-P were(17.62±7.63),(27.37± 11.00),(32.38±6.99),(34.73±7.87),(28.55±5.09) respectively.The MLQ-P scores were negatively correlated with other scales(r=-0.278 ～-0.427,P＜0.01).The correlations among AAQ-Ⅱ,CFQ,SAS,SDS were positive(r=0.359～0.784,P＜0.01).The SAS scores and SDS scores in postoperative thyroid carcinoma patients were higher than that in norm group(z=72.28,P＜0.01;z=2.25,P＜0.05).When stepwise multiple regression analysis was conducted on SAS and SDS scores,AAQ-Ⅱ,MLQ-P,CFQ could explain 24.2％ variance in anxiety,and AAQ-Ⅱ,MLQ-P could explain 24.4％ variance in depression.Conclusion The level of anxiety and depression in postoperative thyroid carcinoma patients is much higher than that in norm.The higher the psychological flexibility,the lower the depression level.Psychological flexibility has significant explanatory power on anxiety and depression.

Objective To study the insulin‐like growth factor binding protein (IGFBP)‐2 and IGFBP‐6 expression and clini‐cal significance in colorectal adenomas .Methods A collection of Chengde Medical College Hospital from July 2012 to March 2013 after surgical treatment of colorectal cancer confirmed by pathology (colorectal cancer ,CRC) tissue samples of 50 patients ,colorec‐tal adenomas (colorectal adenoma ,CRA) 50 cases ,20 cases of colorectal normal mucosa .Immunohistochemistry and RT‐PCR were used to detect the expression of IGFBP‐2 and IGFBP‐6 protein and mRNA ,combined with clinical and pathological data were statis‐tically analyzed .Results IGFBP‐2 protein positive expression and the amount of mRNA expression in the CRA group compared with normal colorectal mucosa had a rising trend;While compared with CRC group had a tendency to reduce ,and the differences are obvious statistical significance (P<0 .05) ,and IGFBP‐6 protein positive expression in the CRA group compared with normal color‐ectal mucosa had a lower trend;While compared with CRC group amount IGFBP‐6 mRNA expression in the CRA group compared with normal colorectal mucosa had a rising trend;While compared with CRC group had a tendency to reduce ,and the differences were obvious statistical significance (P<0 .05) .In the CRA group ,IGFBP‐2 ,IGFBP‐6 positive expression and the patient′s age , sex ,tumor and the number of parts were no significant statistical difference (P>0 .05) ,but with the degree of hyperplasia had sig‐nificant statistical difference(P<0 .05);In the CRA group ,IGFBP‐2 and IGFBP‐6 expression were negatively related to each other , and the difference was statistically significant (P<0 .01) .Conclusion Colorectal adenomas in normal colorectal mucosa of colorec‐tal cancer to the middle part of the transformation process ,and in its occurrence and development process ,insulin‐like growth factor family (IGFs) and IGFS‐R axis plays an important and irreplaceable role ,so IGFBP‐2 ,IGFBP‐6 may be used as diagnostic colorectal adenomas and early predictors of prognosis ,clinical studies on colorectal adenomas is important .
