2.The Dynamic Relationship of Total Health Expenditure and Economic Growth
Chinese Health Economics 2014;(7):54-56
To study the dynamic relationship of total health expenditure and economic growth so as to provide references for designing health economic policies. Methods: Using the regression models with multiple structural changes to estimate the structural change point of model parameter. Results: Compared to the elastic coefficient of economic growth, the total health expenditure and social health expenditure remained stably, the elasticity coefficient of government spending on health increased after decreased while elastic coefficient of personal spending health costs decreased after increased. Conclusion:In the early years of 1990s, the responsibility of government in health care financing funding weakened, which led to the increasing personal expenses. The situation began to reverse since 2004.
3.Progress of mechanisms in cerebral palsy caused by intrauterine infection
International Journal of Pediatrics 2011;38(2):108-110
In recent years, many studies have claimed that the intrauterine infection is one of the most common causes of cerebral palsy. Cerebral palsy is associated with the brain injury directly or indirectly. With the direct mechanisms including breakdown of infected nerve cells of the mouse by intrauterine infection, hydrocephalus, dilation of the cerebral ventricles and ependymitis being illuminated uninterruptedly, researches of the indirect mechanism in cerebral palsy caused by intrauterine infection become the hot issue in the domain.Besides the inflammation mediators theory and down-regulated expression of development of the nervous system related factors, there were still several important elements which can cause brain damage such as placental excretive hormone imbalance, change of activity of Notch signaling and gene mutation/deletion and so on.Mechanisms and the interaction between them built up network effect.

8.Research progress of acupuncture for cerebral ischemia reperfusion injury in recent 10 years.
Chinese Acupuncture & Moxibustion 2015;35(7):749-752
By searching relevant data from the PubMed database, Chinese National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI) database and Wanfang database, a comprehensive analysis and review regarding acupuncture for cerebral ischemia reperfusion injury (CIRI) in recent 10 years were performed. The results showed that acupuncture could inhibit the inflammatory reaction, reduce oxidative stress injury, restrain brain edema formation, inhibit apoptosis, promote neural and vascular regeneration, etc. Acupuncture methods used included electroacupuncture, scalp acupuncture, eye acupuncture and "consciousness-restoring resuscitation needling", etc. The existing problem was that the intervention action of acupuncture was mainly focused on inhibiting inflammatory reaction and oxidative stress injury, and the study on apoptosis and neural and vascular regeneration was needed. It is suggested that from the aspect of multiple target points, the intervention mechanism of acupuncture for CIRI should be systemically studied in the future, which could provide new idea for clinical diagnosis and treatment on ischemic cerebrovascular diseases.

9.Acitretin inhibits the growth and induces the differentiation of mouse B16 melanoma
Chinese Journal of Dermatology 2009;42(3):193-196
Objective To study the inhibition of growth and induction of differentiation of mouse B16 melanoma by acitretin and their mechanism. Methods Animal models of B16 melanoma were established by subcutaneously inoculation of cultured B16 cells into the right axilla of mice. All mice were divided into 5 groups, negative control group treated with peanut oil,low-dose acitretin group treated with acitretin 10 mg per kilogram of body weight per day,high-dose acitretin group treated with 20 mg per kilogram body weight per day, cisplatin group treated with cisplatin 10 mg per kilogram body weight, combination group treated with acitretin 20 mg per kilogram body weight per day plus cisplatin 10 mg per kilogram body weight.Acitretin was given daily via intragastric administration.and cisplatin was given with an interval of 7 days, from day 2 till day 22 after the inoculation. The growth of transplanted tumor was measured with an interval of 3 days. After drug withdrawal, mice were killed, transplanted tumors were obtained for the measurement of tumor weight, pathological examination and immunohistochemical staining for survivin,Fas and vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF).Results Acitretin could significantly inhibit the growth of B16 melanoma, the average weight and volume of transplanted tumor in the treated groups were significantly lower than those in the negative control group(all P<0.01).Pathological examination revealed that in the control group, tumor cells showed typical heteromorphism, and closely arranged with an obscure boundary, whereas in the treated groups,a massive or focal necrosis at different levels was observed in the center and margin of tumor tissue. The relative expression levels of suvivin,VEGF and Fas protein were 3.600±0.966,4.600±0.966,4.300±0.949 respectively,in high-dose acitretin group,2.100±0.568,2.400±0.516,5.900±0.730 respectively,in combination group,5.900±1.370,6.100 ±1.1 97,2.1 00±0.568,respectively,in the negative control group, and a significant decrease was observed in the expression of suvivin and VEGF in the former two groups along with an increase in Fas expression compared with the negative control group(all P<0.01).Additionally,in all the treated mice, the expression of survivin was negatively correlated to that of Fas(rs=-0.77,P<0.01),but positively to that of VEGF (rs=0.72,P<0.01).Conclusions Acitretin can obviously inhibit the growth and induce the differentiation of B16 melanoma, which may be associated with its downregulation of survivin and VEGF expression as well as the upregulation of Fas expression.
10.Continuous renal replacement therapy in treatment of patients with severe multiple injury
Chinese Journal of Primary Medicine and Pharmacy 2009;16(1):35-37
Objective To evaluate the value of continuous vent*venous hemofiltration(CVVH) in hindering systemic inflammatory response syndrome(SIRS) of severe multiple injury to proceed to multiple organ dysfunction syndrome(MODS). Methods 58 patients were randomly divided into routine group(n =31) and CVVH group(n = 27). Both groups were given routine treatment, while the patients in the CVVH group were given CVVH in addition. Additionally ,20 healthy persons were enrolled as normal group. The condition of SIRS were observed, and the serum C reactive protein(CRP)., tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α) , interleuldn-6 (IL-6), interleuldn- Ⅰβ(IL- Ⅰβ) levels were measured before and after treatment in CVVH group, routine group and in normal group at the time of health examina-tion. Results Temperature(T), respiration rate (RR) , heart rate (HR) and white blood cell (WBC) were reduced significantly in CVVH group(P < 0.05 or P < 0.01). The serum CRP, TNF-α, IL- Ⅰβ and IL-6 levels of CVVH group were reduced significantly(P <0.01). The number of patients with duration of SIRS were fewer and the incidence of MODS was lower in CVVH group than those in routine group(P <0.05) ,and the fatality rate was reduced significant-ly in CVVH group(P < 0.05). Conclusion CVVH would significantly improve the inflammatory symptom and signs of SIRs,inhibit the production of inflammatory cytokines in the treatment of SIRS. It can effectively prevent SIRS of severe multiple injury to proceed to MODS.
