Chinese Journal of Laboratory Medicine 2012;35(6):511-516
Glycohemoglobin (HbA1c) is an important indicator for assessing long-term glycemic levels and diabetic complications of blood vessels in diabetic patients. However the test methods, reagents and technological capabilities in different laboratories are various,so there are significantly differences of the results in bias.In 2010 HbA1c was included in new guidelines from ADA for diagnosing diabetes, and recommended by WHO in 2011,which promoted the standardization process of HbA1c tests. In this article we analysed and reviewed main detection methods, the international advancement of standardization, current status of the establishment of HbA1c Reference system in China and its clinical application.

With the rapid development of life science and bioinformatics, clinical biochemistry is in a period of vigorous development under the new situation of medical reform. The work of mutual recognition of test results was carried out smoothly, new guidelines for clinical applications were introduced in succession, testing technology was gradually improved.Automation, molecularization and omics study has become three trends in the development of clinical biochemistry, leading clinical biochemistry's development in an all-round way.In this article we reviewed the main events of clinical biochemistry in 2012,and look forward to witnessing that laboratory medicine will play a more important role in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases in 2013.
4.On the relationships between pulse tracing and position, rate, shape and force attributes
China Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Pharmacy 2006;0(09):-
Four key attributes, position, rate, shape and force, are programs of pulse tracing put forward by ZHOU Xue-hai,a medical practitioner in late Qing dynasty. The essences of four key attributes are'images'of di erent levels. There are complex relationships between pulse tracing and position, rate, shape and force attributes, which include not only subordinate relationship and static-dynamic relationship between four attributes but double relationship between four attributes and pulse tracing.

Chinese Journal of Immunology 1999;0(12):-
Abstract Objective:To study the expression and its biologic specification of the Ku80 gene molecular cloning. Methods: Constructingrecombinant sense or antisense Ku80 expression vectors (Ku80/pCAGGS) and transferring into LCA .Those Ku80 mRNA and protein were de-teited in the Ku80s-LCA, Ku80as-LCA and by Northern-blotting and or Western-blotting.Results: Those Ku80 mRNA were detected in the Ku80s-LCA and Ku80as-LCA by Northern-blotting. Only the sense Ku80 protein was defected in the Ku80s-LCA , but wasn' t detected in the Ku80as-LCA by Western-blotting.Conclusion:The sense or antisense Ku80 were not only transferred in to LCA ,but also expressed in the mR-NA . Only the sense Ku80 protein was expressed in the Ku80s-LCA , but wasn' t expressed in the Ku80as-LCA . The Ku80 is a candidate tar-get for cancer gene therapy.

[ABSTRACT]AIM:Toobservethelong-termeffectsoftaurine,Danxuetong(Salviamiltiorrhizacombinedwith Xueshuantong ) and breviscapine on contralateral testis with unilateral testicular torsion in prepubertal rats , and to compare their protective effect on testis with ischemia reperfusion injury .METHODS: Four-week-old healthy male SD rats ( n=64) were randomly divided into 8 groups:sham operation group, saline group, single-dose and successive taurine groups, single-dose and successive Danxuetong groups , and single-dose and successive breviscapine groups .The animal model of left testicular torsion reduction (720°for 2 h) was established. After 6 weeks of surgery, the right testes and epididymides from the rats were collected immediately to detect the total antioxidant capacity (T-AOC), the activity of superoxide dis-mutase (SOD), the activity of nitric oxide synthase (NOS) and the content of malondialdehyde (MDA).The sperm de-formity, sperm viability and sperm concentration were measured , and the pathological examination of the testicular tissues was performed.RESULTS:Compared with saline group, the activity of SOD, T-AOC, sperm viability and sperm concen-tration were increased , while MDA content and sperm deformity were decreased in 3 successive groups .SOD activity and sperm viability ( except single-dose breviscapine group ) were increased , but MDA content and sperm deformity were de-creased in 3 single-dose groups .T-AOC activity and sperm concentration were increased in single-dose taurine group .The saline group showed interstitial edema and degeneration of seminiferous tubules , and the rest groups showed a significant improvement in histological morphology .CONCLUSION:The contralateral testis in prepubertal rats was damaged after u-nilateral testicular torsion , and taurine , Danxuetong and breviscapine have long-term protective effect on the tissues under ischemia-reperfusion injury .The protective effect of Danxuetong is better than breviscapine , and taurine is the best of them. The effect of single-dose group is better than the successive application .

Objective To study the value of 64-Slice Spiral CT angiography with I.V.Blous contrast medium in in- tracranial and cervical arteries. Methods 100 cases were examined with I.V.Blous of contrast medium in intracranial and cervical arteries CTA while 100 cases were not examined with I.V.Blous. The images between I.V.Blous group and contrast group were analyzed retrospectively and comparatively. Results The rate of CTA success and the image quality of I.V.Blous group were significantly higher and better than those of contrast group. There was statistically significant difference(P

Chinese Journal of Rehabilitation Theory and Practice 2011;17(8):739-741
Objective To observe the effect of porphyra yezoensis polysaccharide (PYP) on cerebrum tissue of diabetic rats and apoptosis. Methods 60 Wistar rats were randomly divided into normal control group, diabetic model group, and treated groups respectively with PYP (0.25 g/kg × d), PYP (0.5 g/kg × d), and PYP (1 g/kg × d). The cerebrum pathologic changes were observed by HE staining method, and the number of apoptotic cells was observed by electrophoresis and the mRNA expression of p53 and bcl-2 was confirmed by RT-PCR. Results PYP improved the cerebrum pathologic changes of diabetic rats. With comparison to the diabetic model group, the cerebrum pathologic change in the treated groups also improved. And the number of apoptotic cells, the expression of p53 in cerebrum tissue decreased and expressions of bcl-2 rose. Conclusion PYP can decrease the expression of p53 in cerebrum tissue and rise expressions of bcl-2 so as to protect brain tissues from cerebral ischemia.

International Eye Science 2017;17(6):1063-1065
The precise measurement in lens thickness in vivo, provides great application value for intraocular accommodation and ametropia development mechanism research. And it has great clinical significance for the diagnosis and treatment of glaucoma and cataract.Currently, many ultrasonic methods and optical methods are used in measuring lens thickness. The measurement principles, advantages, disadvantages and the accuracy of the instruments are summarized in this paper.Among these methods, Orbscan II, Pentacam, Lenstar and AS-OCT can be used to measure lens thickness instead of A-scan.More important is the fact that UL-OCT can dynamically monitor the change of the lens thickness with intraocular accommodation.Choosing an instrument with higher measuring accuracy to examine the lens thickness, can provide more accurate and convincing lens thickness data for clinical and scientific research.
