1.Research progress in opioids induced oxidative injury
Chinese Pharmacological Bulletin 2003;0(07):-
Opioids were widely applied to analgesia and treatment of coughing, diarrhea, anxiety and sleepless. Opioids had toxic effects while playing pharmaceutical roles with oxidative injury as one of the most important toxic effects. Multi-organ or systems in our body were more liable to be damaged either by opioids reduced concentration of glutathione, the reductant or antioxidant, or by increased concentration of reactive oxidative species. To further clarify the research progress in opioids induced oxidative injury is very important towards opioids applications as well as prevention and cure of drug abuse.

Objective To analyze factors influencing the incidence of deep venous thrombosis (DVT) and discuss the prevention and treatment of DVT in hip fracture patients. Methods The present study enrolled 531 patients who received surgery between June, 2008 to June, 2010 for hip fractures. They were 242 men with a mean age of 56. 2 years and 289 women with a mean age of 65.2 years. There were 336 femoral neck fractures, 183 femoral intertrochanteric fractures, and 12 femoral subtrochanteric fractures. The associations between DVT incidence and fracture type, plasma D-Dimer, sex, age and preoperative duration of immobilization were statistically analyzed. Inferior yens cava filters were used for patients who suffered DVT while surgery was performed. Results The total incidence of DVT was 10. 4% in this series. DVT occurred in 21 cases of femoral neck fracture, 34 cases of femoral intertrochanteric fracture and 0 case of femoral subtrochanteric fracture. All DVT events happened before surgery. DVT incidence had no significant associations with age or sex (P =0. 347 and 0. 376, respectively), but did with plasma D-Dimer, fracture type and preoperative duration of immobilization (P = 0. 002, 0. 017 and 0. 037, respectively). All the 55 DVT patients underwent a successful surgery. Conclusions The DVT incidence in hip fracture patients may have no significant associations with age or sex, but may do with plasma D-Dimer, fracture type and preoperative duration of immobilization. Inferior vena cava filters can ensure a successful internal fixation of the fracture and an uneventful postoperative rehabilitation.

Objective To probe into the burden of caregivers of patients with Alzheimer' s disease (AD) ,coping styles and the correlation. Methods A survey involving 143 caregivers of patients with AD was conducted with Caregivers' Burden Scale and a simple Coping Style Questionnaire to analyze the burden of caregivers of AD and the characteristics of their coping styles and discuss the correlation. Results The burden of the caregivers of patients with AD was at intermediate level the score was 46. 96 ±7. 28. 78. 32% of the caregivers had intermediate burden. Both the grade of the positive coping and that of the negative coping of the caregivers of patients with AD were higher than the domestic norm (P < 0.01); the positive coping styles of the caregivers of patients with AD were negatively related with their burden while nursing; their negative coping styles were positively related with their burden while nursing (P < 0.01). Conclusion The burdens while nursing are related with their coping styles. In the aspect of nursing activity, caregivers should be encouraged to adopt positive coping styles.

Objective To investigate the inhibition effect of silencing Ku80 gene combined with irradiation on growth of esophageal cancer xenografs. Methods shRNA-Ku80 vector was constructed. The expression of Ku80 protein was inhibited by shRNA-Ku80 vector by using Western blotting. 20 BALB/c nude mice were randomly divided into 4 groups, including control group, radiation group, shRNA-Ku80 group and combined group. The growth of esophageal cancer xenografs was observed. The expression of Ku80 was examined in esophageal cancer xenografs by IHC. Results Effective target sequence was selected. The growth of esophageal cancer xenografs was inhibited by shRNA-H2 and radiation, especially in combined group. The inhibition rate of growth in three groups above was 32.0% , 39. 9% and 68. 9% ,respectively. The expression of Ku80 was reduced to 58% by shRNA-H2 in esophageal cancer xenografs ( t = 3.77, P < 0. 05 ). Conclusions Combination of silencing Ku80 and radiation could enhance radiotherapeut effect of esophageal cancer xenografs.

Journal of Practical Radiology 1992;0(11):-
Objective To investigate the diagnostic value of low field MRI for adenomyosis. Methods MRI features of adenomyosis pathologically proved in 18 cases were retrospectively analysed. Results 15 cases were diffusive adenomyosis, the junctional zones of uterus were exteusive thickened to 12.0~32.6 mm,mean 16.2 mm,diffusive high signal intensity distributed over in myometrium which was low signal intensity in 11 cases,it was typical “snowing sign”,lower signal intensity in the myometrium in another 4 cases on T 2WI and fat-suppression imaging. A little high signal intensity was found in 6 cases on T 1WI. 3 cases were focal adenomyosis(adenomyoma), 4 lesions totally. The adenomyoma’s boundaries were not distinct and their shapes were roundish or irregular. The lesions were low signal intensity or diffusive high signal intensity distributed in the low signal intensity fields on T 2WI and fat-suppression imaging. A little high signal intensity was found in 2 lesions on T 1WI. Conclusion T 2WI and fat-suppression imaging of low field MRI are very useful techniques of the diagnosis of adenomyosis.

OBJECTIVE:To evaluate the safety of acyclovir in the treatment of liver-transplanted children with EB-viremia. METHODS:Retrospectively analysis was conducted for the general information of 10 liver-transplanted children with EB-viremia, preoperative donor and recipient EBV infection and treatment, tacrolimus dose and plasma concentration before and after interven-tion,platelets,serum creatinine and white blood cell levels before and after treatment, and the recurrence were followed-up. RE-SULTS:Biliary atresia was the primary disease for all the children,EB virus polymerase chain reaction(EBV-PCR)was positive, and there was no routine testing for donor HBV infection;6 cases reduced the tacrolimus dose,4 remained unchanged, and 9 cas-es of plasma concentrations reduced after intervention,9 were negative and 2 recoveried. There were no significant differences in the platelets, serum creatinine and white blood cells before and after treatment(P>0.05). CONCLUSIONS:Acyclovir can be used in the treatment of liver-transplanted children with EB-viremia,with good safety.
10.Altered expression of Chop and Grp78 in neural tube of rat with spina bifida
International Journal of Pediatrics 2016;43(8):651-653
Chop and Grp78 genes are key genes in endoplasmic reticulum stress(ERS).To explore the gene alteration of Chop and Grp78 in embryo with spina bifida,we studied Chop and Grp78 gene expression by qRT-PCR in neural tube of rat with spina bifida in E12 and primary cultured neuroepithelial stem cells(NEP).We found higher expression of both Chop and Grp78 in neural tube of rat with spina bifida than normal rats. While Chop and Grp78 genes were up-regulated after NEP differentiated into neuron. The up-regulation of Chop and Grp78 genes in neural rube of rat and NEP might be involved in the abnormal apoptosis in spina bifida related with ERS.And we found the primary culture of NEP provided a good model for embryo early development research.
