Neurogenesis refers to a biological process of neural stem cells self-proliferate and differentiate into new neurons, and are integrated into the neural networks, including the embryonic neurogenesis and adult neurogenesis. Studies have suggested that microRNAs (miRNAs) play vital regulatory roles in neurogenesis. This article reviews the molecular mechanisms of miRNAs in the regulation of embryonic and adult neurogenesis as well as the possible regulatory roles of miRNAs in the process of neurogenesis after cerebral ischemia.

Objective To observe the changes in the relative indexes of vascular endothelium, blood coagulation and fibrinolysis system of rabbits with experimental severe decompression sickness (DCS), and to compare the above indexes of surviving rabbits with those of dead in order to analyze the mechanism of causes of death. Methods 14 rabbits were put into a decompression chamber. They stayed for 35 min under an atmospheric pressure of 0.55 MPa, followed by a pressure of 0.7MPa for 35min. Then they were subjected to a pressure of 0.1MPa for 4 minutes. Blood samples were drawn before the compression, under high pressure, and after decompression to determine endothelin-1 (ET-1), von Willebrand factor (vWF), fibrinogen (FIB), D-Dimer, blood coagulation factor Ⅷ(FⅧ), plasminogen (PLG), plasmin inhibitor (PL-IN), prothrombin time (PT), and activated partial thromboplastin time (APTT). The changes of above parameters of surviving rabbits were compared with those of the dead. Results After rapid decompression, 8 rabbits died within 30 minutes, while the other 6 rabbits survived and all symptoms of decompression sickness disappeared 24 hours after decompression. The plasma level of ET-1 increased from 1.33?0.33pg/ml to 2.74?0.87pg/ml after a 30min stay under 0.55MPa, while the activity of vWF increased from 2.62?0.69% to 3.64?1.48%. Compared with the surviving rabbits, those dead rabbits showed significant reduction in FIB (0.92?0.12g/L) and D-Dimer (55.63?12.12ng/ml), after rapid decompression. Conclusions There was a release of vasoactive substance in the blood of rabbits during the period when they stayed under high pressure. After rapid decompression, the most important difference between the survivors and the dead was that there were stronger coagulation activation, more consumption of FIB and weaker secondary fabrinolysis in the latter compared with the survivors.

Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2014;(9):1422-1425
BACKGROUND:Elderly patients with femoral neck fractures have poor regulatory mechanism, accompanied by a variety of comorbidities and complications, so the treatment and rehabilitation of perioperative femoral neck fracture is very important.
OBJECTIVE:To review the prosthesis selection and complication treatment in perioperative femoral neck fracture in elderly patients.
METHODS:A computer-based research was conducted in PubMed database and CNKI database for the articles published since 2000, the key words were“elderly, femoral neck fracture, perioperative, treatment and rehabilitation, hip fracture”in Chinese and English. The clinical researches were selected. The subjects were the femoral neck fracture patients with the age over 65 years. The review literatures and the literatures with smal cases and old were eliminated, and final y 20 literatures were included for analysis.
RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:Due to the osteoporosis of the elderly patients, the internal fixation often failed. For the Garden Ⅲ and Ⅳ femoral neck fracture patients with the age over 65 years, as long as there is no clear contraindication for surgery, the hip replacement is often used for the treatment. The tolerance of the patients should be accurately evaluated before replacement, and the blood pressure, blood glucose and various medical complications should be control ed;the rehabilitation training after replacement is also essential. The common complications in elderly patients after replacement include stress ulcer, deep venous thrombosis, neuropsychiatric symptoms, urinary tract infections and the surgical infection.

By reviewing documents and learning from the Dai medicine teachers, the papertried to show the theory and methods of Dai medicine on diagnosing and treating Rheumatoid arthritis (RA). Dai medicine took a note that RA was caused by the unbalance of the interal Sita and affected by the external Paya Longgananhuang. Those pathogeny can make the partial joint and muscle's function abnormal, which resulted in the RA. RA can be separated into three types which are Longmengshahoufeixiang. They could be treated by boththe internal and external treatments. The etiology and pathogenesis of RA and its diagnosis and treatment methods of traditional Dai medicine were profound, unique and useful. It`s worth of clinical application and further researches.

Journal of Medical Postgraduates 2003;0(04):-
Objective: To investigate the change of functional marker and morphology of vascular endothelium induced by simulating diving condition. Methods:14 rabbit were put in the chamber. They stayed for 35 min under 0.55 MPa, and another 35 min under 0.7 MPa, then decompressed to 0.1 Mpa following a stage decompression schedule. Blood sample were draw at 30 min before compression and after decompression for testing endothelin-1(ET-1) and von Willebrand factor (vWF). These parameters were compared to see the change from pre-compression to post-decompression. The morphological change of vascular endothelium was observed under electrical microscope after decompression. Results: After decompression, plasma levels of ET-1 was increased from (1.33?0.23)ng/L to (2.99? 0.35)ng/L and activity of vWF was reduced from (2.35?0.47)% to (1.89?0.34)%. Swelling and defluvium of vascular endothelium was found under electrical microscope. Conclusion: Compression-decompression can cause the damage of vascular endothelium.

Purpose To discuss the TCR gene rearrangements in the diagnosis of T-cell lymphomas. Methods Formalin-fixed and paraffin-embedded samples including 30 cases of T-cell lymphomas and 30 cases of reactive lymphoid hyperplasia were chosen for ex-tracting genomic DNA and PCR amplification using 56 BIOMED-2 primers. PCR products were analyzed by heteroduplex and polyacryl-amide gel electrophoresis. Results In all 30 cases of T-cell lymphomas, 25 cases (83. 3%) showed TCRβ gene monoclonal rear-rangements, 28 cases (93. 3%) of TCRγ gene monoclonal rearrangements, 4 cases (13. 3%) of TCRδ gene monoclonal rearrange-ments. 29 cases (96. 7%) with TCRβ+TCRγ+TCRδ gene monoclonal rearrangements were detected. but no clonal TCR gene rear-rangements were found in 30 cases of reactive lymphoid hyperplasia. Conclusions The detection of TCR gene rearrangements using BIOMED-2 primers is a useful assistant method for the diagnosis of T-cell lymphomas.
