1.Influence of subclinical epileptiform discharges on mathematics cognitive function
Journal of Clinical Neurology 1997;0(06):-
Objective To explore the influence of subclinical epileptiform discharge(SED) on mathematics cognitive function. Methods Using event-related potential (ERP) detection method by stimulation of mathematical operation,11 patients with benign epilepsy of children with centrotemporal spikes (BECTS group),who treated with Valproate sodium (VPA) and clinical seizures got under control, but had frequent SED,and 11 normal children (NC group) were detected. The results were analysed. Results Compared with NC group, the P3 latencies of all leads in BECTS group were significantly prolongation (all P

3.Expression of Inducible Nitric Oxide Synthase and NF-κ Bp65 in Patients with Psoriasis Vulgaris and Their Clinical Significance
Chinese Journal of Dermatology 2001;34(2):103-104
Objective To investigate the internal relationship between the expression of inducible nitric oxide synthase (iNOS) and the activation of NF-κ Bp65 in the skin of patients with psoriasis vulgaris(PV) and their roles in the pathogenesis of PV.Methods The expression and distribution of iNOS and NF-κ Bp65 were studied by in situ hybridization and immunohistochemistry in 20 patients with PV and 12 healthy controls. The severity of PV was assessed by Psoriasis and Severity Index(PASI) score. Results ① The expression of both iNOS mRNA and protein was significantly higher in lesional epidermis than those in non-lesional epidermis and epidermis of the controls (P<0.01).Weak exprssion of iNOS mRNA was found in basal cell layer in a small number of healthy controls, however, strong expression was observed in entire basal cell layer and focal parts of prickle cell layer in all PV epidermis.② There was significantly positive correlation between iNOS and NF-κ Bp65 protein expression in lesional epidermis (P< 0.01).③ There was significantly positive correlation between the level of expression of iNOS mRNA in lesional epidermis and PASI score of patients (P< 0.01).Conclusions The expression of iNOS and NF-κ Bp65 is markedly increased in lesional epidermis of patient with PV.The activation of NF-κ B probably takes part in the pathogenesis of PV.High-level expression of iNOS may be due to the activation of NF-κ B.

Journal of Kunming Medical University 1989;0(01):-
With an improved method, this paper first describes the polytene chromosomes from the salivary gland of Anopheles liangshanensis. The schematic diagram of the polytene chromosomes was mapped. The salivary gland chromosomes, which were examined by over 600 sample slides, consist of six arms and the sex chromosome has a short arm.
6.Alzheimer's disease and cataracts
Chinese Journal of Geriatrics 2016;35(8):910-912
Alzheimer's disease (AD) is an age-related progressive neurodegenerative disease. As the most common type of senile dementia disease,AD has no effective methods for early diagnoses.AD is characterized by the deposition of intracellular amyloid β (Aβ) plaques and extracellular neurofibrillary tangles (NFT) in the brain. In addition to allomnesia and cognitive disorder, ocular manifestation such as cataracts exists in AD patients.Studies have shown that amyloid-β (Aβ) is deposited not only in the brain but also in crystalline lens. For its structure and special location, crystalline len is more accessible for imaging than the brain, which can provide a simple, convenient and early diagnosis method for AD.Hence,it is worth investigating the relationship between Alzheimer's disease and cataracts.
7.MR Diagnosis of Intracranial Subependymomas
Journal of Practical Radiology 2001;0(08):-
Objective To study the MR imaging features of intracranial subependymomas and to improve the knowledge more about it. Methods The imaging features of intracranial subependymomas in 17 cases proved pathologically were retrospectively analyzed, among which 11 cases were male and 6 cases were female, 16 cases had MR images and 1 case only had CT images. Results MR appearances of intracranial subependymomas were as follows :16 cases were all hyperintense relative to the normal grey matter on T2-weighted images and hypointense or isointense on T1-weighted images. 12 cases showed no enhancement or minimal enhancement after Gd-DTPA administration . 9 of 16 cases were located in lateral ventricle, 2 were in septum pellucidum, and the rest 5 were in fourth ventricle ,third ventricle ,prepontine cistern, right CPA and chiasmatic cistern respectively. In one case , CT showed isodensity and was enhanced in CE-CT,the lesion was situated in fourth ventricle. In all 17 cases, 11 were accompanied with microcystic structures. Conclusion Intracranial subependymomas are best delineated by MR imaging. The diagnosis of intracranial subependymomas should be considered when above findings are confronted.
8.Studies on the Feasibility of Celiac Axis Ligation
Chinese Journal of Bases and Clinics in General Surgery 2003;0(03):-
Objective To summarize the study on the feasibility of celiac axis ligation. Methods Literatures about celiac axis ligation were reviewed retrospectively. Results Celiac axis branches included common hepatic artery, splenic artery, left gastric artery which had many variation and collateral flow between celiac and mesenteric vessels by gastroduodenal artery and pancreaticoduodenal artery. Celiac axis could be possibly ligated without obvious complications in patients who had celiac axis injuries, celiac artery aneurysms, upper gastrointestinal haemorrhage, excision of carcinoma around the celiac axis and portal hypertension. However, gallbladder necrosis or perforation, focal infarction of the liver even higher mortality had also been reported. Conclusion Celiac axis ligation should not be performed routinely, but it is surgically possible and may be a life saving approach in certain circumstances.
9.Expression of hepatitis B virus DNA vaccine in immunized mice
Chinese Journal of Immunology 1985;0(03):-
Objective:To research the expression of HBsAg DNA vaccine in immunized mice. Methods:The expression of HBsAg DNA vaccine was detected by immunohistochemistry staining in muscle fibers, lymphoid nodes and spleens of mice after intramuscular injection.Anti-HBsAg antibody was assayed by ELISA and the proliferation of spleen cells was measured by MTT.Results:The positive expression was observed in the tissues mentioned above. The titer of serum antibody showed positive results.Spleen cells could be proliferated by stimulating with HBsAg or ConA.Conclusion:The positive expression and certain kinds of immune responses have been shown in immunized mice.
