Therapeutic irradiation can induce angiosarcoma. Radiation-induced angiosarcoma constitutes 20% of all angiosarcomas. Although its common site of origin is the skin and subcutaneous tissue, it rarely arises in small or large bowels with a presentation as multifocal abdominal angiosarcomatosis. We report a case of intra-abdominal angiosarcomatosis involving the jejunum, ileum, transverse colon, mesentery and right ovary in a 63-year-old female. It developed 10 years after therapeutic irradiation for squamous cell carcinoma of uterine cervix. She developed panperitonitis due to intestinal perforation. She died from sepsis 3 days after segmental resection of the small bowel and right oophorectomy. We reviewed the previously reported cases and describe the clinicopathologic features of this tumor.

In order compare cytologic findings of breast carcinoma in fine needle aspiration cytology (FANC) with histologic findings and prognostic factors including histologic grading, lymph node metastasis and stage, 79 cases of infiltrating ductal carcinoma diagnosed by FANC and confirmed by histology were analysed. We especially attempted to correlate nuclear grade, cellularity and smear pattern with histologic grade, type, status of lymph node metastasis and stage. The results are as follwos : 2. Individual cell pattern was more frequently identified in high histologic grade and scirrhous or solid-tubular type than in low histolgic grade and papillotubular type. 3. Cellularity increased with higher histologic grade and lymph node metastsis. However cellularity was low in scirrhous type. 4. There is no relationship between nuclear grade and histologic type, between smear pattern and lymph node metastasis or stage, and between cellularity and stage. These results suggest that cytologic findings of breast carcinoma such as nuclear grade, cellularity and smear pattern are indicative of histologic findings in relation to histolgic grade and type. Especially, nuclear grade of FANC may yield valuable prognostic information.

Korean Journal of Nuclear Medicine 1997;31(3):388-394
Temporomandibular (TM) joint pain results from many etiologic factors. The aim of this study was to evaluate the utility of Bone SPECT in patients with TM joint pain. The subjects were 34 patients with TM joint pain. All patients underwent plain radiography, planar bone scan, and Bone SPECT. The intensity of radioisotope uptake at TM joint was graded into three; no increased uptake above three background activity as grade 0, uptake similar to occipital bone as grade I, and uptake similar to maxillary sinus as grade II. Clinical findings and therapeutic methods were reviewed. Twenty-seven patients (80%) out of 34 patients with TM joint pain had increased uptake in bone SPECT. Twenty-one (78%) out of 27 patients had increased uptake in the mandibular condyle and remaining six patients (22%) had uptake in the mandibular and maxillary arch, which proved to be dental problem. Seven patients out of 34 were grade as 0, four (12%) were grade I, 23 (68%) were grade II. Four patients with grade I had clicking sound and symptoms which were subsided with medication in all cases. Among 23 patients with grade II, 7 patients had clicking sound and 14 patients underwent medication and decompression therapy. With Planar bone scan, 11 cases (32%) had increased uptake in TM joint area. Plain radiography revealed narrowing, distension, erosion and limitation of TM joint in 16 cases (47%). Bone SPECT can be valuable for screening and managing the patients with TM joint pain. Patients with grade II needed intensive treatment such as joint aspiration. However degree of the radioisotope uptake did not well correlated with clinical symptoms.

5.Types of Physical Restraint Experience in Mentally Ill Persons: Q Methodological Approach.
Journal of Korean Academy of Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing 2012;21(1):30-40
PURPOSE: The purpose of this study was to identify the patterns of physical restraint experience in mentally ill persons. METHODS: Q-methodology, an approach designed to discover patterns in various subjective experiences, was used. Twenty-two participants classified 36 selected Q-statements on a nine-point scale to create a normal distribution. The collected data were analyzed using the PC Quanl Program. RESULTS: Five types of physical restraint experience in mentally ill persons were identified by the participants. Type I Emotional reaction-explosive anger, Type II Emotional reaction-internalized anger, Type III Rational reaction-rejection, Type IV Rational reaction-acceptance, Type V Rational reaction-trust. CONCLUSION: The results of this study provide an understanding that different types of reactions to physical restraint experience exist and that each type has certain characteristics, which suggest a need to develop interventions specifically designed for each type of physical restraint experience.

Korean Circulation Journal 1986;16(4):509-514
In order to observe the arrhythmia which occured in early convalescent phase of acute myocardial infarction, a 24 hour ambulartory ECG monitiring was performed in 15 patients who is admitted at dept of Int Medicine, Ewha Womans University hospital from Aug. 1985 to Sept. 1986. during 7.5+/-3.4 days after admission. In all cases one or more of the following arrhythmias were observed;atrial premature beat, ventricular premature beat(VPB), transient paroxysmal ventricular thchycardia, atrial fibrillation, sinus arrest and junctional beat. Of 15 cases, 11(77.3%) had VPB's:Simple VPB's in 4 cases(26.7%) and complex VPB's(6.52+/-2.52)(P<0.05). But there were no difference of premature and abberancy index between complex VPB's and simple VPB's(P>0.1). In addition, we compaired the arrhythmias in CCU with those of early convalescent phase of acute myocardial infarction. But there was no correlation between them.

7.The Longitudinal Mediating Effects of Perceived Parental Neglect on Changes in Korean Adolescents’ Life Satisfaction by Gender
Asian Nursing Research 2020;14(5):286-292
Purpose:
The life satisfaction of Korean adolescents tends to decrease beginning in middle school, and this decrease has a negative effect on life satisfaction in adulthood. Gender and perceptions of parental neglect are important variables influencing the life satisfaction of adolescents in Korea. This study examined the longitudinal mediating effects of perceived parental neglect on the life satisfaction of male and female Korean adolescents to assess changes to the relationships between key variables over time.
Methods:
The present study analyzed data from 2,215 adolescents from the Korean Children and Youth Panel Survey's fourth-year elementary school panel spanning their first year of middle school (2013) to the first year of high school (2016). A latent growth model was applied to Korean national data.
Results:
The perceived parental neglect and life satisfaction intercepts differed by gender, and the intercept of perceived parental neglect influenced the life satisfaction intercept. The slope of perceived parental neglect, but not the life satisfaction slope, differed by gender, and the slope of perceived parental neglect influenced the life satisfaction slope. The Sobel method showed that the intercept of perceived parental neglect mediated gender differences in the life satisfaction intercept, and the slope of perceived parental neglect significantly influenced the gender difference in the life satisfaction slope.
Conclusion
Efforts to improve adolescent life satisfaction should be differentiated by gender regarding perceptions of parental neglect.

9.A study of the correlations between the tongue and oral cavity volume in the skeletal mandibular prognathism.
Korean Journal of Orthodontics 1993;23(2):275-282
When mandibular prognathic patients are operated orthognathic surgery which reduce the oral cavity volume, tongue volume should be harmonized with oral cavity volume to be changed because prevent the relapse of malocclusion. To decide the need for tongue resection, the author measured the tongue volume and oral cavity volume with stone model which were taken by impression method and study the difference between the ratio of tongue and oral cavity volume in mandibular prognathic group and normal group. The samples were consisted of four groups, the 40 subjects of the control group, 40 subjects of the experimental group. Each group was subdivided into male and female group respectively. The results were as follows: 1. The tongue volume and oral cavity volume measurements are 20.7cm3, 32.7cm3 in the control group respectively, and 24.9cm3, 42.9cm3 in the experimental group respectively. 2. There is no difference in the ratio of the tongue volume to oral cavity volume in control group and experimental group. 3. Correlation coeffiecients between the tongue volume and oral cavity volume are 0.11, 0.29 in experimental group and control group respectively, and 0.43 in gross total group. 4. The tongue volume of male is larger than female(p<0.05).

10.Evaluation of hyoid bone position and airway size in Class III malocclusion.
Korean Journal of Orthodontics 1996;26(3):247-254
This study was performed to evaluate the hyoid bone position and airway in skeletal class III malocclusion and to prove the correlation between airway, hyoid bone position and mandibular position. The sample, considered of 47 class III malocclusion patients for experimental group and 52 class I malocclusion students for control group. Twenty three linear and angular measurements about hyoid bone position, airway size, mandibular position were taken from the lateral cephalograms. The differences between skeletal class III malocclusion group and normal occlusion group were compared and the correlation were evaluated statistically. The results obtained were as follows, 1. There were significant difference in S-APH, A-APH, N-APH, LAH-PBR, AA-PNS, PNS-ad between class I and class III malocclusion groups. 2. The hyoid bone was more anteriorly positioned in class III malocclusion group than class I malocclusion group and skeletal airway size in class III malocclusion group was smaller than class I malocclusion group. 3. There were significant difference in several measurements especially vertical and angular measurements of hyoid bone position and airway size between male and female. Usually the measurements in male were larger than female. 4. There were no significant correlation between hyoid bone position and airway size also airway size, and didn't showed significant correlation with mandibular position. 5. S-APH showed negative correlation with Wits appraisal and A-APH, N-APH showed positive correlation with Wits appraisal. On the contrary vertical measurements of hyoid bone position showed positive correlation with lower facial height.
