Cancer Research and Clinic 2013;25(7):493-495
Reverse transcription loop-mediated isothermal amplification(RT-LAMP)is a novel nucleic acid amplification technique which has been mainly used in a variety of viruses and other pathogens of gene detection.Compared with reverse transcriptase polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR),the RT-LAMP has advantages of reaction simplicity,rapidly,cost-effective,detection sensitivity and specificity.Nowadays,RT-LAMP technology is gradually used in various medical fields, but it is still a new method especially in cancer diagnosis of tumor gene. The article reviews the application of the RT-LAMP technology in the cancer
3.Study on application value of DWI and DTI in the early diagnosis of cerebral infarction
Journal of Practical Radiology 2014;(10):1618-1621,1625
Objective To explore the application values of magnetic resonance diffusion weighted imaging (DWI)and diffusion tensor imaging (DTI)in the early diagnosis of cerebral infarction. Methods 1 2 1 patients with single side cerebral infarction were di-vided into five groups by disease time, the brain examination was performed by conventional MRI,DWI and DTI in every case. The le-sions were observed and compared in different sequences imaging.Mean diffusivity(MD)and fractional anisotropy(FA)values of cere-bral infarction lesions and the symmetrical positions in normal hemispheres were measured and compared. The correlations between relative MD(rMD)value, relative FA(rFA)value and disease time were analyzed. Results The display rate on DWI in showing ultra-acute and acute cerebral infarction lesions was 100%,which was superior to that on other sequences of conventional MRI obviously (P<0.05).Compared with the healthy sides,MD values of infarction lesions were lower at ultra-acute and acute phase(P<0.001), but at sub-acute phase, there was no statistically difference between the affected and normal sides(P>0.05).MD value was higher at early chronic and late chronic phase(P<0.001);FA values had no consistent changes at ultra-acute phase(P>0.05),but at the later separate phases,FA values reduced successively(P<0.001).The rMD value of infarction lesions was positive correlated with disease time(rs=0.990,P<0.001).The rFA value of infarction lesions was negative correlated with disease time(rs=-0.994,P<0.001). Conclusion DWI is susceptive in showing cerebral infarction lesions at hyper-early phase.DTI can be used to determine the clinical phase and appraise the inj ured extent of cerebral infarction accurately by measuring the parameters.Combination of DWI and DTI can provide a basis for clinical individual treatment programs selection and prognostic evaluation.

5.Expressions of SOCS3 and IL-6 in Triple-negative Breast Cancer and Their Chinical Significance
Acta Medicinae Universitatis Scientiae et Technologiae Huazhong 2015;(1):82-86
Objective To investigate the expressions of SOCS3 and IL‐6 in triple‐negative breast cancer(TNBC)and their clinical significance. Methods The expressions of SOCS3 and IL‐6 in TNBC and normal breast cells were detected by Western blot and fluorescence quantitative PCR.Immunohistochemical staining was used to detect their expressions in 84 TNBCs ,33 breast fibromas and 11 normal breast tissues. The correlation of their expressions in TNBC and the relationship between their expressions and clinical pathological parameters were analyzed as well. Results SOCS3 was not expressed or down‐expressed in TNBC cell lines while IL‐6 was over‐expressed. The positive rate of SOCS3 protein was 32.1% in TNBCs ,63.6% in breast fi‐bromas(P<0.01)and 72.7% in normal breast tissues (P< 0.01);and that of IL‐6 protein was 72.6% in TNBCs ,30.3% in breast fibromas(P< 0.01)and 27.3% in normal breast tissues (P< 0.01).Moreover ,a significant negative correlation was found between the expression of SOCS3 and that of IL‐6 in TNBC(rs = -0.590 ,P<0.01). The expressions of SOCS3 and IL‐6 were markedly associated with tumor size ,lymph node metastasis ,clinical stages and expressions of Ki‐67 and p53(P<0.05) , but not with age ,histological grades or menopausal status(P>0.05).Conclusion The expressions of SOCS3 and IL‐6 are asso‐ciated with the development of TNBC ,suggesting that SOCS3 and IL‐6 can serve as biological markers for evaluating the prog‐nosis ,and therapeutic targets of T NBC.
6.Research on aberrant expression of HOX in gastrointestinal neoplasms and its mechanism
International Journal of Surgery 2012;39(6):396-399
Homebox genes are known to determine cell proliferation and differentiation and subsequently regulate the occurrence, development and prognosis of many tyhpes of malignant tumors in human. Some recent studies have shown that homebox genes are abnormally expressed in the esophageal, gastric, coloreetal and other gastrointestinal tumors. In this review,we consider that homebox genes may regulate the occurrence, development of gastrointestinal tumors by interacting with transcription factors in vivo and abnormal epigenetic modifications. Therefore, homebox genes are closely related to gastrointestinal tumors.

9.MR Diagnosis of Glomus Jugulare Tumor
Journal of Practical Radiology 2001;0(09):-
Objective To evaluate the value of MR in the diagnosis of glomus jugulare tumors. Methods 15 cases (8 in the right and 7 in the left-side) of glomus jugulare tumors were retrospectively analysed, with the emphasis on the locations, MR signal intensities andthe invading appearances to the surrounding structures of tumors. Results The tumors demonstrated as oval or irregular shape. Thesurrounding bones around the jugular fossa were destroyed in 12 masses. The signal intensity of the tumors was heterogeneous and with marked “salt and pepper”appearance in 12 masses(12/15) on plain MR imaging. The masses(13/13)were all markedly enhanced after the injection of Gd-DTPA, in which 10 of them presented with “salt and pepper”appearance. MR angiography was performed in 9 cases, theinternal carotid artery and the internal jugular vein were all displaced and/or encompassed. Conclusion Glomus jugulare tumor can becorrectly diagnosed according to the combination of MR imaging features with the typical localization,“salt and pepper” appearance and bone erosion in the skull base.
10.The expression and significance of TGF-β1 and TGF-β receptor Ⅰ , Ⅱ in experimental rat pulpitis
Chinese Journal of Primary Medicine and Pharmacy 2010;17(19):2612-2614,后插1
Objective To observe the dynamic expression and location of TGF-β1 and TGF-β receptor Ⅰ ,Ⅱ at different time in an experimental model of rat molars reversible pulpitis, to evaluate the role of TGF-β1 and TGFβ receptor Ⅰ , Ⅱ on pulp injury and repair. Methods The reversible pulpitis animal model was established by drilling the enamel without water cooling and then acid etching dentine. The maxillary and teeth of each animal were made 5μm thick serial slides. The slides were stained with hematoxylin-eosin and SABC immunehistochemical technique and then studied under the light microscope and under image analysis, all the data were statistically analyzed by analysis of variance (ANOVA) and t-test. Results Positive staining of TGF-β1 and TβR Ⅰ ,TβR Ⅱ was found in odontoblasts, pulp fibroblasts and vascular endothelial cells. In pulpitis stage, the expressions of TGF-β1 and TGF-β receptor Ⅰ , Ⅱ were increased markedly, and showed dynamic changes at different time;TGF-β1 show a peak at 5d and followed by decreased significantly. TGF-β receptor Ⅰ ,Ⅱshowed the highest at 3d ,and then decreased slightly. From 0d to 3 d,TGF-β1 and TGF-β receptorⅠ,Ⅱ showed uptrends, but their uptrends had no direct proportion relationship. Conclusion The results presented here suggested that TGF-β1 and TGF-β receptorⅠ,Ⅱ might play an important role in pulp wound and repair. The inflammatory reaction in response to TGF-β1 was mediated by TGF-β receptorⅠ, Ⅱ; Although TGF-β1 showed a possible function for the TGF-β receptor, but a direct proportion relationship couldn't be concluded.
