Objective:The infusion pumps are high risk equipment in clinic, the clinical risk of it is much higher the general medical equipment and diagnostic. Methods:FLUKE lagu1 was used to calibrate the Smiths infusion pumps in different conditions. Results: As a result, the quality control of it is particularly important. We introduce a method to calibrate model 1200 infusion pump from the angle of quality control. Conclusion: Infusion pump quality control testing should accord with clinical practice. Infusion pumps calibrated to provide security for the clinical infusion therapy and reduce the medical risk.

BACKGROUND:Posterior dislocation after total hip replacement is one of the most common complications that second only to loosen, and can affect the stability of the hip joint seriously. There is controversy on the effect of femoral head diameter and acetabular anteversion on the stability of hip joint in clinical study. OBJECTIVE:To investigate the effect of the femoral head diameter and acetabular anteversion on the stability of hip joint after hip prosthesis replacement. METHODS:The femoral head diameter and acetabular anteversion that affect the posterior instability after hip prosthesis replacement were measured on the cadaveric bone. The acetabular shel was inserted at 0°-20° of anteversion at five degree intervals. The femoral heads with different diameters (28, 32 and 36 mm) were used for experiment, the internal rotation degrees to dislocation caused by hip at 90° flexion and 0° adduction and at 90° flexion and 30° adduction were recorded. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:When the cup anteversion varied from 0° to 15°, there was an increase in the degree of internal rotation angle that could cause hip dislocation with the increasing of femoral head diameter (P<0.05). When the cup anteversion varied from 15° to 20°, the increasing trend was not significant. With the hip at 90° flexion and 0° adduction, and the cup anteversion varied from 15° to 20°, the stability of 36 mm group was significantly higher than that of the 28 mm and 32 mm groups (P<0.01);the stability of 32 mm group was higher than that of 28 mm group when the acetabular anteversion in 10° or more (P<0.05);there was no significant difference in stability between groups when the anteversion less than 10°. With the hip at 90° flexion and 30° adduction, the stability of 36 mm group was significantly higher than that of the 28 mm and 32 mm groups (P<0.01);the stability of 32 mm group was higher than that of 28 mm group when the acetabular anteversion in 10° or more (P<0.05);there was no significant difference in stability between groups when the anteversion less than 10°. The results indicate that the increasing of acetabular anteversion can reduce the occurrence of dip dislocation, but when it is difficult to choice the acetabular anteversion, large-diameter femoral head is preferred to increase the stability of hip joint.

Objective:This experiment aims to find a appropriate scaffold for Tissue Engineer- ing. Methods:The chondrocytes were cultured when they were seeded onto PGA+PLA scaffolds coat- ing with Lecithin(LEC)and Poly-l-lysine(PLYS)together and respectively. With light microscope and scanning electron microscope, the observation of the scaffolds in hydrophilia and adsorptivity to chondrocytes and the function of the cells was made. Results:The PGA scaffolds coating with LEC and PLYS have better hydrophilia and adsorptivity to the cells;on which the chodrocytes produce more ma- trices. Conclusion:LEC can chang the hydrophilia of the scaffolds;while PLYS can strengthen the ad- sorptivity of the scaffolds;the PGA coating with LEC and PLYS is an ideal scaffold in Tissue Engineer- ing.

Objective To evaluate the efficacy and quality of life of segmental bowel resection for bowel endometriosis. Methods Totally 62 symptomatic patients with bowel endometriosis undergoing segmental bowel resection were recruited. A visual analogue scale (VAS) and the 36-item short form health survey (SF-36) questionnaire were administered before and at least 1 year after surgery, respectively. Pregnancy rates were also recorded. Results Sixty-two patients in total underwent follow-up ranging from 12 to 74 months. All patients complained of obvious pain symptoms, including dysmenorrhea, dyspareunia, pain on defecation and chronic pelvic pain. The relief of dysmenorrhea (2.9 ± 2.2 versus 7.5 ± 2.9), dyspareunia (0.7 ± 0.5 versus 4.3 ± 2.2) and pain on defecation (1.6 ± 0.7 versus 7.3 ± 1.9) after surgery was statistically significant (all P<0.01). The scores for all 8 domains of the SF-36 questionnaire were significant improved after segmental bowel resection (all P<0.01). The complication rate was 45% (28/62), including 18 cases of urinary retention, 4 rectovaginal fistulas, 2 cases of vaginal dehiscence, and 1 case each of thrombogenesis, pelvic abscess and general peritonitis. All of the patients with complications recovered well throughout follow-up. The postoperative pregnancy rate of the previous infertile patients was 6/10. Among the 6 gestational cases, 2 had labour, 2 underwent caesarean sections, one had a spontaneous natural abortion, and one underwent uterine curettage. Conclusion Segmental bowel resection could significantly relieve pain and improve quality of life for patients with bowel endometriosis.

Objective To explore the risk factors of incontinent-associated dermatitis (IAD) in MICU. Methods A retrospective analysis of 141 cases of MICU incontinence in our hospital was done in IAD. The risk factors of IAD were analyzed by single factor and logistic regression analysis. Results The incidence of IAD in MICU fecal incontinence was 43.97%.The risk factors of IAD in MICU incontinence included the amount of defecate, age, body temperature (all P<0.05). Conclusion The incidence of IAD in patients with MICU incontinence is higher. The risk factor for IAD in patients with ICU incontinence are the amount of defecate, age and body temperature. These high-risk factors should be well-considered and relative measures should be done.

Objective:To systematically evaluate the efficacy of different kinds of smoking cessation drugs by network Meta-analysis.Methods:Literature was retrieved from PubMed, Web of Science, Embase, Cochrane Library, CBM, CNKI, VIP, Wan fang database, from the establishment of the database to November 2022, and randomized controlled trials (RCT) about bupropion, varenicline, nicotine replacement therapy (NRT) versus placebo in the treatment of smoking patients were collected. After data extraction from included literature which met inclusion criteria, and quality evaluation with Cochrane 5.1 risk bias evaluation tool, network Meta-analysis was performed by Stata15.1 software. Results:A total of 19 RCTs, involving 6106 patients and three interventions measures (bupropion, varenicline, NRT) and one control measure (placebo) were included. The results of network Meta-analysis showed that in terms of short-term abstinence rate, varenicline [ OR=4.21, 95% CI (2.32, 7.63)], bupropion [ OR=2.81, 95% CI(1.05, 7.54)] were better than placebo ( P<0.05). The surface under the cumulative ranking area (SUCRA): varenicline (90.2%)>bupropion (64.8%)>NRT (41.7%)>placebo (3.2%). In terms of the long-term abstinence rate, varenicline [ OR=3.06, 95% CI (1.59, 5.90)], NRT [ OR=3.39, 95% CI (2.20, 5.21)] were better than placebo ( P<0.05). SUCRA: varenicline (83.8%)>NRT (73.9%)>bupropion (37.2%)>placebo (5.2%). Conclusion:The existing evidence shows that compared with bupropion, NRT, varenicline has the best effect on quitting smoking, but more high-quality randomized trial evidence is needed for verification.
