1.Biological function of IL-23
Journal of Clinical Pediatrics 2010;(3):295-296,299
Interleukin(IL),generated by immunocytes or non-immune cells,is a group of cell factors that holds many important biological effects. Up to now, with the rapid progress of molecular biology and cell biology technique,29 types(IL-1 ~ IL-29)of IL have been reported since its denomination in 1979. IL-23,one kind of interleukin found in 2000,is composed of p19 and p40 sub group. Recent studies showed that it has various biological functions, such as acting on T cell to make it produce various cell factors, acting on DC and MP to affect the secretion of the relevance cell factors. The biological functions of IL-23 have played an important role in various diseases. This review describes the molecular structure, biological function, and its effects on related diseases.

Virologica Sinica 2008;23(6):394-398
The molecular modifications of Herpes Simplex Virus Type Ⅰ (HSV-1) proteins represented by acetylation and phosphorylation are essential to its biological functions. The cellular chromatin-remodeling/assembly is involved in HSV-1 associated gene transcriptional regulation in human cells harboring HSV-1 lytic or latent infections.Further investigation on these biological events would provide a better understanding of the mechanisms of HSV- 1 viral gene transcriptional regulation.

Objective To study the expressions of IL-8 mRNA, TSP-1 mRNA and their clinicopathologic significance in the breast cancer. Methods The expressions of IL-8 mRNA, TSP-1mRNA were detected by in situ hybridization technique on the 10% formalin-fixed and routinely paraffin-embedded sections of 58 breast cancer tissues and 15 lobular hyperplastic tissues of mammary gland. Results The positive rate of IL-8mRNA was significantly higher in the breast cancer than that of lobular hyperplasia (56 9% vs 13 3%,P

With the development of world-wide integration in the field of education and under the Bologna Process of Russia, Russian high medical colleges have begun actively searching a new way to reform medical education. However, they have encountered many problems due to the unique feature of Russian higher medical education. To analyze those problems will help us to deepen the understanding of Russian high medical colleges and strengthen Sino-Russia exchanges and cooperation.

Chinese Journal of Nosocomiology 2006;0(05):-
OBJECTIVE To observe the sterilization effect of nanophotocatalytic air disinfector(NPD) on the indoor air of emergency room.METHODS Under the static and active circumstances, the on the-spot sterilization was adopted and observed.RESULTS In the static circumstances, after the machine had properly functioned over 60 minutes, the elimination rate of natural bacteria in debridement room and dressing change area reached 100.00% and 90.44%,respectively;in the active, after the machine had properly functioned over 60 minutes, the elimination rate of natural bacteria in debridement room and dressing change area reached 95.99% and 86.68%,respectively.The bacteria amount in the air decreased as the sterilization time was extended.CONCLUSIONS The NPD has good sterilization effect on indoor air.It can be adopted for the air sterilization in the emergency room under active circumstances.

AIM: To investigate the anti-DIC effect of the domestic recombinant hirudin (rH) in order to provide preclinical pharmacological basis for its new drug application. METHODS: DIC was induced by constant iv infusion of thrombin (100 U?kg -1 ?h -1 ?1 h) plus PAMBA (50 mg?kg -1 ?h -1 ?1 h). Platelet count (PLT), PT and fibrinogen (FIB) determination as well as plasmaprotamine paracoagulation (3P) test served as diagnostic indexes of DIC, while pathlogical examination of microthrombosis of lungs and kidneys was followed. RESULTS: rH 125,62.5,31.25 and 15.625 ?g?kg -1 iv. gtt demonstrated a dose-dependant inhibitory effect on DIC. The inhibitory effects on DIC of rH(%) were 89.38%, 52.60%, 49.71% and 25.58% for PT, and 100.01% , 61.86%, 58.40% and 32.68% for PLT, and 85.22%, 73.01%, 33.60% and 14.86% for FIB respectively at the descending order of rH doses. CONCLUSION: Domestic rH being tested has powerful anti-DIC effect which is comparable with refludan—an r-hirudin product approved by European Community for marketing.

Journal of Jilin University(Medicine Edition) 2006;0(06):-
Objective To investigate the effect of taurine(Tau) on the myocardial fibrosis and its mechanism. Methods The rat model of myocardial fibrosis was built by subcutaneous injection of isoprel(Iso). And the rats were divided into control group, model group and taurine group(80,160,320 mg?kg-1?d-1).Hydroxyproline measurment was carried out for detecting collagen quantification in myocardium tissue.Histopathology changes were detected by HE staining. In vitro, the cultured neonatal rat cardiac fibroblasts(CFb) were divided into control group, model group and taurine group(40,80,160mmol?L-1).The proliferation of CFb was induced by angiotensin Ⅱ(AngⅡ) and detected by the thiazoleblue(MTT)colorimetric assay.TGF-?1 level was determined by ELISA technique. The expression of cyclin dependent kinase inhibitor p27 was assessed with flow cytometry. Results In vivo, the contents of hydroxyproline were decreased in Tau(160,320 mg?kg-1?d-1) groups as compared with model group(P

Chinese Pharmacological Bulletin 2003;0(11):-
Aim To investigate the effect of taurine(Tau)on the cardiac fibroblast(CFb)cell cycle and its regulatory protein expression, and to explore the underlying mechanism of Tau-inhibiting the proliferation of CFb.Methods The proliferation of cultured neonatal rat CFb was induced by Angiotensin Ⅱ and detected by the thiazole blue(MTT)colorimetric assay.Hydroxyproline measurement was carried out to detect the collagen quantification. The expression of cell cycle regulatory protein cyclin D and p27 were determined by the combination of immunocytochemical staining and image analysis software.Cell cycle and p27 were assessed via flow cytometry. Results CFb proliferation and hydroxyproline content in culture medium were markedly inhibited when CFb were treated with taurine at concentrations of 40,80 and 160 mmol?L-1 for 24 hours(P

Journal of Third Military Medical University 2002;0(12):-
Objective To test the fracture loading of extracted cracked teeth with CEREC CAD/CAM ceramic inlays/onlays. Methods All the extracted teeth were divided into two groups (A: control group; B: test group; n=15 teeth in each group). All the teeth were prepared into those imitating cracked teeth. Those teeth in group B were strengthened with CEREC CAD/CAM ceramic inlays/onlays. All teeth were thermocycled and mounted for testing and then were loaded until fracture. Results The force of anti-fracture of extracted teeth imitating cracked teeth with CEREC CAD/CAM ceramic inlays/onlays (group B) was obviously higher than that of the teeth without CEREC CAD/CAM ceramic inlays/onlays (group A). Conclusion CEREC CAD/CAM ceramic inlays/onlays can effectively prevent the crack of teeth in clinical practice.
