In recent years,lead poisoning has gradually become an important public health issue.Usually,children are facing a chronic low-level environmental lead exposure.The damage of lead for children is a dose-effect continual process,involving in nerve,blood,digestive,urinary,immune,endocrine and many other systems,and can affect children's growth.The recent researches on children lead poisoning were reviewed and the biological markers of lead poisoning,detection method of lead in vivo,clinical diagnosis,interventions and models in vitro and in vivo in studies of lead poisoning were summarized.This article would offers scientific researchers effective and convenient scientific basis for further study of the lead toxicity.

Objective To study the relationship between intracellular calcium concentration of atrial myocytes and atrial fibrillation (AF) in humans. Methods Atrial myocytes were isolated from right atrial appendages of rheumatic heart disease (RHD) patients with or without AF, and also isolated from that of congenital heart disease (CHD) patients with sinus rhythm. Objective:This experiment aims to find a appropriate scaffold for Tissue Engineer- ing.Methods:The chondrocytes were cultured when they were seeded onto PGA+PLA scaffolds coat- ing with Lecithin(LEC)and Poly-l-lysine(PLYS)together and respectively.With light microscope and scanning electron microscope,the observation of the scaffolds in hydrophilia and adsorptivity to chondrocytes and the function of the cells was made.Results:The PGA scaffolds coating with LEC and PLYS have better hydrophilia and adsorptivity to the cells;on which the chodrocytes produce more ma- trices.Conclusion:LEC can chang the hydrophilia of the scaffolds;while PLYS can strengthen the ad- sorptivity of the scaffolds;the PGA coating with LEC and PLYS is an ideal scaffold in Tissue Engineer- ing.
5.THE POSSIBLE MUTAGENESIS OF SEVERAL MALE ANTIFERTILITY AGENTS IN SPERM HEAD ANOMALIES

Mutagenesis of several male contraceptives in sperm bead anomalies was investigated. Results show that glycosides of tripterygium wilfordii hook (GTW) and its monomer T13, microwave induce sperm head anomalies. However, gossypol and monomer T4 and GTW do not induce sperm head anomalies. Adult male mice and rats were given orally GTW, monomer T4, T13 and gossypol. These chemical agents were delivered in 1% methylcellulose. Result indicated that frequency of abnormal sperm heads in GTW, T13 groups were significantly increased, while frequency of abnormal sperm heads in T4 and gossypol-treated animals were similar to that of normal controls. When male mice were exposed to microwaves of 0.5 kW for 1-2 min, for five weeks abnormal shape of spermatozoa could be found.
6.Increase of p-P38 and uPA expression in human breast cancer

Objective To study the expression and the significance of phosphorylated P38(p-P38) and uPA in breast cancer tissues.Methods Immunohistochemistry(S-P) was used to test the protein expression of p-P38 and uPA in 60 specimens from 50 patients with breast cancer.Western blotting was adopted to detect the protein expression of p-P38 and uPA in breast cancer cells and uPA protein expression after incubation with SB203580,an specific inhibitor of P38 MAPK blocked P38 MAPK signaling pathway.Results The positive rates of p-P38 protein and uPA protein in breast cancer tissues were 56.7%and 60.0% respectively.The protein expression level of p-P38 and uPA in breast cancer tissues was significantly higher than that in adjacent normal tissues(P
7.Analysis and Preventive Strategy of Occupational Exposure to Blood Source Among Medical Staffs

OBJECTIVE To monitor the risk of occupational exposure among medical staffs and give the preventive measures.METHODS The profession high risk factor,element of sharp instrument injury,the risk of evaluation after exposure and preventive medication in 95 blood-borne among medical staffs from Nov.2005 to 2008 were analyzed.RESULTS Among the occupational exposure degree to blood source among medical staffs,the first was nurses(75.79%),the second doctors(16.84%).The sharp instrument injury was the most common type of the occupational exposure to blood source,and common appeared in the pinhead of infusion apparatus,and most appeared at the withdrawal of needles after transfusion completed or bare-handed.No staff got the infection brcause of occupational exposure to three HIV patients.CONCLUSIONS It is the key to cut down the risk of occupational exposure by enhancing the training of medical staffs,specification of procedure,enforcing standard precautions,establishment monitoring system,strengthening the report and effective treatment after exposure.
8.Efficacy observation on Governor Vessel-regulating and brain-unblocking acupuncture for post-stroke depression

Objective:To observe the clinical effect of Governor Vessel-regulating and brain-unblocking acupuncture on post-stroke depression.
Methods:A total of 70 eligible cases were randomly allocated into an observation group and a control group according to the random number table. Patients in the observation group were treated with Governor Vessel-regulating and brain-unblocking acupuncture, whereas patients in the control group were treated with oral Escitalopram Oxalate tablet. The treatment lasted for 8 weeks. The Hamilton depression scale (HAMD), Montgomery Asberg depression rating scale (MADRS), and Barthel Index (BI) were used to evaluate the patients’ condition before, 4 weeks and 8 weeks after treatment respectively. In addition, adverse reactions were also recorded.
Results:After 4 weeks of treatment, the HAMD and MADRS scores were significantly decreased in both groups (P<0.05); and the BI scores were significantly increased in both groups (P<0.05). There was no between-group statistical difference in HAMD score (P>0.05); the MADRS score in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group (P<0.05) and the BI score in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group (P<0.05). After 8 weeks of treatment, there were no between-group statistical differences in all aspects (P>0.05); however, the adverse reactions in the observation group were significantly less than those in the control group.
Conclusion:The Governor Vessel-regulating and brain-unblocking acupuncture is safe and effective for post-stroke depression and can obtain similar efficacy as Escitalopram Oxalate tablet. In addition, it can fast alleviate core symptoms of depression and improve the activities of daily living (ADL) and has fewer adverse reactions.
9.Inhibitory effect of Rhodiola total flavonoids on proliferation of cardiac fibroblasts in rats

Objective To investigate the inhibitory effect of Rhodiola total flavonoids on transforming growth factor (TGF)-β1-induced proliferation of cardiac fibroblasts (CFB) in the rats, and to explore its mechanisms of improving myocardial fibrosis.Methods 5 μg·L-1 TGF-β1 was used to induce the proliferation of CFB to build the cell models of myocardial fibrosis.The cultured CFB were divided into control group,model group,and low, medium,high doses (25,50 and 100 mg· L-1 )of Rhodiola total flavonoids groups.The cells were treated for 48 h,the vitalities of cells were detected by MTT,the levels of collagen proteinⅠ (ColⅠ)and collagen proteinⅢ(Col Ⅲ)in supernatant were measured by ELISA,and the activities of total superoxide dismutase (T-SOD)and glutathione peroxidase (GSH-Px)were detected,the levels of malondialdehyde (MDA)and glutathione (GSH) were also measured.Results The MTT results indicated that compared with control group,the cell vitality in model group was significantly increased (P < 0.01 ).compared with model group,the cell vitalities of CFB in Rhodiola total flavonoids groups were significantly decreased (P < 0.05 ). Compared with control group, the T-SOD activity in model group was decreased, while the MDA level was significantly increased (P <0.05);compared with model group,the T-SOD activities in 50 and 100 mg· L-1 Rhodiola total flavonoids groups were increased (P <0.01);the MDA levels in 25 and 50 mg· L-1 groups were decreased significantly (P < 0.05). Compared with control group,the GSH-Px activity and GSH level in model group were significantly decreased (P <0.01).Compared with model group,the GSH-Px activities and GSH levels in Rhodiola total flavonoids groups were increased (P <0.05).Compared with control group,the ColⅠand Col Ⅲ levels in model group were significantly increased (P <0.01);compared with model group,the ColⅠand Col Ⅲ levels in Rhodiola total flavonoids groups were significantly decreased (P <0.05).Conclusion Rhodiola total flavonoids can inhibit the proliferation of rat CFB.The development of myocardial fibrosis may be inhibited by Rhodiola total flavonoids through anti-oxidative stress pathway.
10.Expression pattern of innate immunity related microRNAs in human brucellosis

Objective:To investigate the expression pattern of 14 innate immunity related microRNAs ( miRNAs) in brucellosis patients.Methods:By using Real time PCR assay, expression levels of 14 miRNAs in serum samples from brucellosis patients and healthy volunteers were analyzed.Results: Of the 14 miRNAs tested, 13 showed decreased expression in brucellosis patients.And significant Ct differences over one were observed for nine of the miRNAs.In them,five miRNAs,including miR-122,miR-145a,miR-155,miR-301a and miR-146a levels significantly decreased in brucellosis patients (P<0.01).Conclusion:Decreased serum levels of miR-122,miR-145a,miR-155,miR-301a and miR-146a are confirmed and may serve as novel biomarkers for human brucellosis diagno-sis.
