Chinese Journal of Biologicals 2024;37(07):881-886
Porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome(PRRS),also known as blue ear disease,is an immunosuppressive disease caused by porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome virus(PRRSV). PRRSV is an important infectious pathogen of porcine, which has the characteristics of easy recombination and mutation, high transmission ability, and has been widely spread in the world. At the same time, because of the characteristics of immunosuppression, immune evasion, and easy-to-cause antibody-dependent enhancement(ADE),the pathogen has brought serious challenges to the disease prevention and control of PRRS and the development of related vaccines. In this paper, the pathogenic process of PRRSV,immune evasion mechanism, and research progress in different types of PRRSV vaccines were reviewed,in order to provide ideas for the development of related vaccines in the future

Objective To compare the outcomes of homeopathic bidirectional-traction reduction device and traction table in surgical treatment of femoral intertrochanteric fractures. Methods A retrospective case control study was made on 94 cases of femoral intertrochanteric fractures treated from July 2015 to December 2015.There were 26 males and 68 females, aged 60-75 years.According to the Evans classification, the fractures were type Ⅱ in 24 cases, type Ⅲ in 32 and type Ⅳ in 38.Fifty-seven cases sustained chronic diseases.According to the random number table, the subjects were assigned to receive homeopathic bidirectional-traction reduction (homeopathic reduction group,48 cases) and traction table reduction (control group,46 cases). All fractures were fixed with proximal femoral nail antirotation.Operation time, reduction time, tluoroscopy time, blood loss and rate of closed reduced cases were recorded.Fracture union and rotation of the affected femur to the tibia were detected after operation.Functional outcome was evaluated using the Harris score at the final follow-up.Results All fractures were reduced closely in homeopathic reduction group, while 15 fractures in control group were reduced via a small-incision anterior approach.Operation time, reduction time and fluoroscopy time in homeopathic reduction group were (62.9 ± 12.1) min,(6.8 ± 1.5) min and (11.3 ± 5.6) s respectively, significantly less than the corresponding data in control group (all P < 0.05).One month after operation, rotation of the affected femur to the tibia was (2.8 ± 1.2) ° in homeopathic reduction group, significantly less than that in control group [(11.5 ± 4.7) °] (P < 0.05).Bone union was observed in all cases. At the final follow-up,Harris hip score was (92.6 ± 7.6)points in homeopathic reduction group, significantly higher than that in control group [(87.3 ± 6.5) points] (P < 0.05).Conclusion For the elderly patients with intertrochanteric fractures, homeopathic bidirectional-traction device has advantages of high rate of closed reduction, shorter operation time, less radiological exposure and satisfactory function recovery of the affected hip joint.

Objective To investigate the risk factors and treatment efficiency for lung cancer patients with venous thromboembolism (VTE). Methods Total 282 cases of lung cancer patients with VTE were enrolled into two groups , including the VTE group and the non-VTE group , for comparation analysis based on a series of clinical data. Results The occupation rate of adenocarcinoma and Ⅳ period were 65.28% and 87.50% in VTE group, respectively, higher than those of 51.43% and 75.71% in the non-VTE group. The increased rate of blood viscosity and d-dimer respectively were 65.28% and 70.83%, higher than those of 51.43% and 56.67% in the non-VTE group, with significant differences (P < 0.05, respectively). Result of logistic regression analysis showed that tumor stage , d-dimer levels , smoking , age , and blood viscosity levels were highly correlated with venous thrombosis in patients with lung cancer, and the OR value among them was 3.802, 2.339, 5.814, 3.875 and 6.404, respectively, with significant differencees (P < 0.05, respectively). Conclusions Lung adenocarcinoma with stage Ⅳ, smoking , age and increase of blood viscosity and d-dimer were the important risk factors for VTE in patients with lung cancer chemotherapy. Timely assessment of risk factors and early anticoagulation therapy in lung cancer patients with venous thromboembolism associated with VTE can improve the treatment efficacy and reduce the complications.

Objective To explore the changes of blood alcohol concentration (BAC) and its influencing factors in alcohol consumption, and establish a mathematical model of BAC metabolism. Methods The BAC was measured by using the gas chromatograph and the internal standard curve method, and the data was analyzed by SPSS20.0 and R and the mathematical model was established. Results On average women BAC elimination rate is 9.54mg/100mL/h, the average male BAC elimination rate is 12.19mg/100mL/h, women elimination rate less than men, and BAC elimination rate is related to gender of medium and related to the weight of strong, has nothing to do with age. According to the results of the mixed effects model, the mixed effect model can predict the BAC accurately, the mean absolute error (MAE) is 1.60mg/100mL, and the data is analyzed by the decision tree method, and MAE is 9.99mg/100mL. Conclusion BAC elimination rate was associated with sex and weight after drinking, and the random-effect mixing model could be accurately inferred by time, alcohol consumption, sex and weight.

Objective To investigate the effects of self-efficacy intervention on activities of daily living and outcomes in patients with acute ischemic stroke complicated with white matter lesions (WML).Methods From March 2016 to June 2017,patients with acute ischemic stroke complicated with WML admitted to the Departments of Neurology, the Second People's Hospital of Lianyungang were enrolled prospectively. They were randomly divided into intervention group and control group. The control group received routine treatment and nursing, and the intervention group implemented self-efficacy intervention on the basis of the control group. They were followed up until 90 d after onset.Stroke Self-Efficiency Questionnaire (SSEQ) was used to assess the stroke self-efficacy level. The Barthel Index (BI) was used to assess the activities of daily living (ADL) of the patients. The National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) and the modified Rankin Scale (mRS) were used to assess the outcomes of the patients. Results The SSEQ scores in the intervention group were significantly higher than those at the time of admission and in the control group at 90 d (all P <0.01).The BI in the intervention group was significantly higher than that in the control group (66.51 ±22.35 vs.58.41 ±23.17;t =3.473,P =0.001),and the NIHSS score was significantly lower than the control group (5.51 ±2.98 vs.6.95 ±2.94;t =-2.094,P=0.040),and the proportion of patients with good outcomes (mRS score 0-2) was significantly higher than that of the control group (73.7% vs.56.6%;x2 =4.896,P =0.027).Conclusion For patients with acute ischemic stroke complicated with WML,active self-efficacy intervention could improve the ADL and it was helpful to improve the outcomes of patients.
