Modern Clinical Nursing 2015;(7):14-17
Objective To explore the effect of peer-education on self-efficacy of hemodialysis(HD) patients. Methods Totally 90 HD patients were divided into two groups equally. The intervention group received peer-education for 3 months and the control group received routine nursing. The two groups were compared in terms of score on self-efficacy. Results There was no statistically significant difference in the score on self-efficacy and every item between the two groups before intervention (P>0.05). The score on self-efficacy and the items ofcontrol of depressive mood, the confidence in taking self-care measures, the confidence in doing other thingswere statistically significantly different between the two groups after intervention (P<0.05). Conclusion Peer-education can improve HD patient′s self-efficacy.

China Pharmacist 2014;(4):546-549
Objective:To study the Raman spectrum and the surface enhanced Raman spectrum ( SERS) of cefalexin, cefadroxil and cephradine, and analyze the surface enhanced Raman spectrum of the three compounds under different pH conditions. Methods:The Raman spectrum and the surface enhanced Raman spectrum of the three compounds under different pH conditions were detected and measured by a portable Raman spectroscopy. Results: The results showed that the three compounds could exhibit characteristic peak information in the surface enhanced Raman spectroscopy corresponding to that in the normal Raman spectrum, and the pH values had certain impact on the surface enhanced Raman spectrum of the three substances. Conclusion: Both the Raman spectrum and the surface enhanced Raman spectrum of cefalexin, cefadroxil and cephradine reflect certain fingerprint characteristics, and it is feasible to use Raman scattering method to identify the three cephalosporins.
4.Advance in studies on Glabridin
International Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine 2015;37(9):860-864
Glabridin (Glab) is an isoflavonoid originally isolated from the roots of Glycyrrhiza glabra L. (Fabaceae). Glab is widely considered to be a phytoestrogen and has been associated with numerous biological properties ranging from antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, neuroprotective, anti-atherogenic effects, to the regulation of energy metabolism. In this paper, a review on its biological activity was reviewed.

Objective:To explore the effect of micro-video education combined with active psychological management on the rehabilitation effect of hip replacement. Methods:From January to December 2018, 100 patients with total hip arthroplasty were divided into control group and observation group, 50 cases in each group. The control group was given routine nursing, and the observation group was given micro video education combined with positive psychological management. The depression, pain, joint function and complications were evaluated. Results:After the intervention, the Self-rating Depression Scale (SDS) score of patients in the observation group was (34.72±6.83) points, which was significantly lower than (40.58±7.59) points of the control group. The difference was statistically significant ( tvalue was 4.058, P<0.05); pain control education in the observation group and satisfaction scores for pain control or reduction methods were (43.01±5.72) and (63.77±8.62) points respectively, which were better than the control group's (33.96±4.58) and (55.15±9.27) points. The difference was statistically significant ( tvalues were 8.733, 4.815, P<0.05); the excellent and good rate of hip joint function in the observation group was 90.00% (45/50), which was higher than 64.00% (32/50) in the control group. The difference was statistically significant ( χ 2value was 4.336, P<0.05); the complication rate in the observation group was 2.00% (1/50), which was significantly lower than the control group's 18.00% (9/50). The difference was statistically significant ( χ 2value was 7.111, P<0.05); The scores of each item of quality of life in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant ( tvalues were- 9.859 to- 3.154, P<0.01). Conclusion:Micro video education combined with positive psychological management can improve the depression of patients after hip arthroplasty, reduce the degree of joint pain, promote the function of hip joint and reduce complications.

Chinese Journal of Rehabilitation Theory and Practice 2009;15(1):71-72
Objective To compare the effect of breathing oxygen or air on respiratory function training for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Methods 32 patients with stable COPD, pulmonary function Ⅱ~Ⅳ, were divided into 2 groups: oxygen (10males and 6 females and air (12 males and 4 females). All the patients participated in a standardized pulmonary rehabilitation program. They were assessed with St. George respiratory questionnaire, pulmonary function test, 6-minute walking distance, cardiopulmonary exercise test and Borg scale, maximal oxygen consumption (VO2max) before and after training. Results After 8 weeks of pulmonary rehabilitation, the VO2max in oxygen group increased compared with that of the air. Conclusion Supplying oxygen during training can increase the tolerance of COPD patients.

: Objective To investigate the effects of exercise therapy on activity of daily living (ADL), perception of dyspnea and quality of life (QOL) in stable patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Methods 40 COPD stable patients accepted treadmill exercise for 8 weeks. 6-min walk test (6MWT), the parameters of cardiopulmonary exercise test, ADL, perception of dyspnea (Borg Scale), and St. George's respiratory questionnaire (SGRQ) were measured before and after exercise. Results ADLs in different levels (P<0.05), especially in higher level (P<0.01), were significantly improved in all patients after exercise. Perception of dyspnea (Borg Scale) was also improved significantly (P<0.01). There was positive correlation between ADL and QOL (r=0.455, P<0.01), but negative between dyspnea and QOL (r=-0.412,P<0.05). Conclusion Exercise therapy can improve the ADL and perception of dyspnea in daily activities in patients with COPD, as well as QOL.

ObjectiveTo observe the effect of early rehabilitation and insulin treatment on acute cerebral infarction. Methods160 cases with acute cerebral infarction (without diabetes and the serum glucose were all above 6.7 mmol/L) were divided into treatment group and control group. Each case of both groups was treated with routine treatment, and those in the treatment group were treated with insulin instantly and early rehabilitation in the first day after onset when physical signs were stable and conditions didn't deteriorate. They were assessed with Neurological Impairment, Fugl-Meyer Assessment and Barthel Index 4 weeks after treatment. ResultsCompared with the control group, the neurological function improved obviously in the treated group (P<0.05). ConclusionEarly rehabilitation and insulin treatment can improve neurological function and the activity of daily living.
10.How does transmembrane electrochemical potential drive the rotation of Fo motor in an ATP synthase?

Protein & Cell 2015;6(11):784-791
While the field of ATP synthase research has a long history filled with landmark discoveries, recent structural works provide us with important insights into the mechanisms that links the proton movement with the rotation of the Fo motor. Here, we propose a mechanism of unidirectional rotation of the Fo complex, which is in agreement with these new structural insights as well as our more general ΔΨ-driving hypothesis of membrane proteins: A proton path in the rotor-stator interface is formed dynamically in concert with the rotation of the Fo rotor. The trajectory of the proton viewed in the reference system of the rotor (R-path) must lag behind that of the stator (S-path). The proton moves from a higher energy site to a lower site following both trajectories simultaneously. The two trajectories meet each other at the transient proton-binding site, resulting in a relative rotation between the rotor and stator. The kinetic energy of protons gained from ΔΨ is transferred to the c-ring as the protons are captured sequentially by the binding sites along the proton path, thus driving the unidirectional rotation of the c-ring. Our ΔΨ-driving hypothesis on Fo motor is an attempt to unveil the robust mechanism of energy conversion in the highly conserved, ubiquitously expressed rotary ATP synthases.
