Objective To evaluate the effectiveness of repeated intravitreal conbercept injection in patients with macular edema (ME) of retinal vein occlusion (RVO),guided by optic coherence tomography (OCT).Methods It is a retrospective case study.Forty patients (40 eyes) diagnosed as ME secondary to RVO were enrolled in this study. There were 19 males (19 eyes) and 21 females (21 eyes),with the mean age of (53.58 ± 13.19) years and the mean course of 1.5 months. The best corrected visual acuity (BCVA),indirect ophthalmoscopy, fundus fluorescein angiography (FFA) and OCT were performed. The mean baseline of BCVA,central macular thickness (CMT) were 0.25 ± 0.18 and (509.48 ± 170.13) μm respectively. All the patients were treated with 10.00 mg/ml conbercept 0.05 ml (including conbercept 0.5 mg).Follow-up of these patients was 1 to 6 months after treatments, the BCVA,fundus manifestations,OCT were retrospectively observed by every month, the FFA was retrospectively observed by every 3 months. When there was retinal edema or CMT ≥ 50 μm by OCT during follow-up,those patients were retreated with intravitreal conbercept injection. The changes of the BCVA,CMT were evaluated before and after treatment.Meanwhile, complications in eyes related to medicine and treatment methods were evaluated too. Results At the 6 months, the BCVA was improved (increase≥2 lines) in 25 eyes (62.50%),stabilized (± 1 line) in 13 eyes (32.50%) and decreased 2 lines in 2 eyes (5.00%).Retinal hemorrhage and exudates were absorbed in most patients.FFA showed no fluorescein leakage in 1 1 eyes (27.50%),minor fluorescein leakage in 26 eyes (65.00%),and retinal capillary non-perfusion in 3 eyes (7.50%).OCT showed absorption of the subretinal fluid. The mean CMT were (235.20± 100.44) μm at 6 months.Intravitreal injection of conbercept was applied for 4 times in 8 eyes (20.00%),3 times for 18 eyes (45.00%),and 2 times for 14 eyes (35.00%).The mean number of intravitreal injection was 2.85 times. There were no ocular or systemic adverse events observed in all patients. Conclusion Intravitreal conbercept injection is an efficacy and safe treatment for the patients with ME of RVO guided by OCT.It can stabilize and improve the visual acuity.

Chinese Pharmacological Bulletin 1986;0(05):-
As an important lipid in cell membrane and lipoprotein, sphingomyelin(SM)has widespread and considerable biological functions. It has close relation to the occurrence and development of atherosclerosis(AS),and the change of its concentration has become a seperate risk of atherosclerosis.Sphingomyelin synathase(SMS),the key enzyme in synthesis of SM,might become a new target for treatment of AS because of its expression and activity could directly influence the pathophysilogical process of AS.Here the recent reports about the structure and biological functions of SMS are summarized, and its role in AS and the possibilities of it being a potential drug target for AS therapy are reviewed.

Objective To explore the efficacy of low dosage of olanzapine combined with fluoxetine in the treatment of depression. Methods A 8-week study was conducted in 130 patients met the diagnostic criteria for de- pression.Subjects were randomly assigned to two groups:fluoxetine(20mg/d)alone and olanzapine(2.5~5 mg/d) plus fluoxetine(20mg/d).They were evaluated with Hamilton depression scale(HAMD).Hamilton anxiety scale (HAMA)at baseline, the 1 week,2 weeks,4 weeks and 8 weeks subsequently.Results(1)There were significant differences in the total scores and reduction rates of HAMD between two groups in every interview.(2)The combi- nation group had greater reduction in depressive and anxiety symptoms than that in fluoxetine group.(3)The re- sponse rate in combination group was higher than that of fluoxetine group in 1 week,2 weeks and 4 weeks. There were no significant differences in response and remission rate between combination group and fluoxetine group.Con- clusion The combination of olanzapine with fluoxetine demonstrated a rapid, effective antidepressant action.

Microbiology 1992;0(05):-
Submerged fermentation parameters for the chromium-rich mycel ia of Coprinus comatus was studied in optimal medium. According to the yield of organic Cr, the optimal fermentation parameters were obtained as follows: the amount of CrCl_3 6H_2O in medium was 200mg/L; the inoculation volume was 8%~10%; the aeration ratio was 80:250 (medium volume: flask volume); the cul tural period was 5 days at 26℃ and at 100r/min. The highest yield of organic C r in mycelia of Coprinus comatus was 1597.88?g/100mL and the enrichment ra te of Cr was about 9.09%.

Compared with living spray method, it focused on the investigation of different inoculation methods, various inoculation concentration and the influence of different seeding age on soft rot-resistance in Jinxianlian. The results showed that (1) Inoculated with dropping connection, the difference of disease index between A. roxburghii and A. formosanus was grate, so that the disease-resistance could be obviously distinguished. (2) When the inoculation concentration was 1.0 x 10(7) cfu x mL(-1), the difference of disease index was relatively obvious and the disease-resistance could be differentiated well. (3) At the moment of 4-month seeding inoculation, a certain difference of the disease index between A. roxburghii and A. formosanus was existed, so, relatively, it could accurately reflect the resistance difference between various species. With the inoculation of dropping connection, A. roxburghii and A. formosanus of 4-month seeding age was put in the bacteria suspension of inoculation concentration of 1.0 x 10(7) cfu x mL(-1). The identification was taken up after 5 days in the incubator under the condition of 14 h daylight and 28 degrees C. The identification result was conformed with that of the living spray method. To investigate the identification method of in vitro evaluation of soft rot-resistance of Jinxianlian so as to provide the foundation for germplasm utilization and excellent cultivars breeding.

In this study, we use pot experiment to evaluate the effect of plant growth regulator on plant morphology and biomass allocation of Salvia miltiorrhiza. Different concentrations of uniconazole were supplied to S. miltioohiza by means of foliar spray. Height, breadth and stem diameter were measured dynamically, the biomass of leaf, stem, flower and fruit, root biomass and biomass ratio were also examined at the harvest time. Owing to the treatment, plant morphology showed significant changes, the height had been greatly reduced and the breadth decreased largely. Meanwhile, the biomass allocation changed too. The biomass ratio of leaf and stem had been notably reduced while the biomass ratio of root had been increased remarkably. It appears that foliar application of uniconazole during vigorous growth period in S. miltioohiza has dramatic effect on dwarfing plant and improving resistant to lodging. This measure could also be applied to condensed cultivation of S. miltioohiza to increase production.
