Chinese Journal of Information on Traditional Chinese Medicine 2017;24(10):120-121
Although the symptom of stable bronchiectasis is not significant, the four pathological factors including qi stagnation, sputum obstruction, blood stasis and lung-spleen qi vacuity still exist inside patients' bodies, making them in the state of both healthy and ill. This article discussed the application of the idea of preventive treatment to intervene and treat, which could prevent the emergence of new diseases and the changing of existing diseases. It could prevent vacuity evil and bandit wind, depressed qi transforming into fire, phlegm depressed in the lung and channel obstruction caused by long-term diseases. It can effectively prevent the acute attack of bronchiectasis and improve the patients' lung function and life quality.

Microbiology 2008;0(09):-
The concentration of airborne microbes in summer tourism season in Huangshan Scenic Spot was measured by fallen plate method at l4 collection sites. The study on the community structure and distribution characteristics of outdoor airborne microbes was carried out. The results showed that the average concentra- tion of the bacteria, fungi and total microbes in the outdoor environment were 0.41?104 CFU/m3, 0.34? 104 CFU/m3 and 0.75?104 CFU/m3 respectively, and the average percentage of fungi of the total was 45.9%. These indicated that the outdoor air had been polluted by airborne microbes. The preliminary identification was made on the bacteria and fungi at different sampling sites and the results showed that the dominant bac- teria mainly belonged to Bacillus, Staphylococcus, Micrococcus and Pseudomonas, and the average per- centage of the total amount of the bacteria was 37.7%, 17.2%, 10.1% and 9.8% respectively; the dominant fungi belonged to Cladosporium, Mycelia sterilia, Penicillium and Alternaria, and the average percentage of the total amount of the fungi were 40.4%, 35.0%, 5.6% and 4.3% respectively. The results indicated that thedistribution characteristics of air microbes are affected not only by topographical and climatic characteristics, but also by factors such as tourist activities, animals and plants.

OBJECTIVE To investigate distribution status and drug-resistance pathogens from infected urinary tract and offer scientific evidence for reasonably clinical usage of antibiotics.METHODS A total of 286 strains of pathogenic bacteria isolated from urinary tract were identified by common methods.Antibiotic susceptibility tests were performed by K-B methods.RESULTS Escherichia coli rated the top one, accounting for 62.2%.Results of susceptibility test showed that all pathogens were resistant to the many antibiotics in different degrees except for 100.0% sensitive to vancomycin in Gram-positive cocci and to imipenem in Gram-negative bacilli. The detection rate of extensive-spectrum beta-lactamases(ESBLs) producers in E.coli and Klebsiella pneumoniae was 36.5% and 40.9%,respectively.The average detection rate of meticillin-resistant staphylococci(MRS) was 35.7%.CONCLUSIONS The drug-resistance of pathogenic bacteria from infected urinary tract is quite serious in the local area.We should adopt effective measurement to control its prevalence.
7. Complementary application of HSCCC and semi-preparative HPLC for rapid separation of phenylethanoid glycosides from penstemon digitalis
Chinese Herbal Medicines 2014;5(4):280-285
Objective: Echinacoside and verbascoside are known for their excellent neuroprotective, anti-inflammatory, and anti-oxidative activities, therefore large amount of pure compounds are urgently needed as authentic standards for various in vivo and in vitro studies. Nowadays, they are abundenty extracted from endangered Cistanche spp. Phytochemical studies revealed that Penstemon spp., comprising about 280 species, were rich natural sources for the exploitation and large scale preparation of phenylethanoid glycosides. Thus, rapid isolation and purification of various phenylethanoid glycosides from Penstemon spp. were necessary. Methods: The crude extract of P. digitalis was first enriched by AB-8, and then the high-speed counter-current chromatography (HSCCC) combined with semi-preparative high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) method was adopted to isolate and purify echinacoside and verbascoside. Results: Eventually, verbascoside (67.2 mg) with the purity of 92.6% and echinacoside (3.96 mg) with the purity of 98.9% were obtained from 5 g powdered leaves of P. digitalis. Conclusion: The present mode of HSCCC coupled with semi-preparative HPLC could be a powerful method for the rapid isolation and purification of other phenylethanoid glycosides. © 2013 Tianjin Press of Chinese Herbal Medicines.

Objective To investigate the relationship between blood lipids levels and leukoaraiosis (LA). Methods 322 cases were designed into non-LA group (n=141) and LA group (n=181) according to MRI. LA group was further designed into mild (Fazekas Ⅰ, n=57),moderate (Fazekas Ⅱ, n=52), and severe (Fazekas Ⅲ, n=72) groups according to Fazekas classification. Their blood lipids levels were compared. Results The level of total cholesterol (TC) and low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) increased (P<0.05) with the level of LA,while the level of triglycerides (TG) increased in all the LA groups (P<0.05), but no significant difference among them (P>0.05). There was no significant difference among all the groups in high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C) (P>0.05). Conclusion TC, TG, and LDL-Cincrease in those with LA, and the TC and LDL-C increase with the severity of LA. The HDL-C do not relate with LA.
