Objective To study the influence of Captopril preconditioning on apoptosis and the expression of gp 130 in rats of acute myocardial injured. Method Wistar rats were randomly divided into three groups:control group, Iso group and Cap preconditioning group. Cardiomyocytes apoptosis was detected with TUNEL method. The expressions of Bcl-2 and Bax proteins in myocardium were tested by immunohistochemistry. The expression of gp 130 was tested with Western blot method. Results The index of cardiomyocytes apoptosis was decreased, the expressions of Bax proteins and gp 130 were decreased and the expression of Bcl-2 proteins was increased in Cap preconditioning group compared with Iso group (P<0.01 or P<0.05). Conclusion The expression of gp 130 could be decreased through Cap preconditioning, which can reduce the cardiomyocytes apoptosis.

OBJECTIVE: To select and breed elite variety of Dendrobium officinale, thus to conserve the wild germplasms and promote the healthy developing of D. officinale industry. METHODS: System breeding method was employed for the breeding of new variety developed from wild germplasm oi Dendrobium officinale. Yield of fresh stems and leaves, quality characters including dried stem rate and raw polysaccharide content etc. were tested. ISSR molecular marker technique was used to distinguish genetic difference between new variety and other D. officinale materials. RESULTS: New elite variety 'Xianhu 2' was bred successfully with high polysaccharide content, fine adaptability, and high yield. 'Xianhu 2' had significantly higher yields of fresh stems-leaves and stems than D. officinale var. 'Yunnan Ruanjiao' and D. officinale var. 'Xianhu 1' and significantly higher dried stem ratio and raw polysaccharide content than 'Yunnan Ruanjiao' at 12, 24, and 36 m, respectively. ISSR analysis indicated that there were distinct differences in DNA level between 'Xianhu 2' and other D. officinale varieties and lines. D. officinale var. 'Xianhu 2' got its certificate for commerce releasing by Zhejiang Province in December 2011. CONCLUSION: 'Xianhu 2' is a new elite variety with good synthetic agronomic traits. Its breeding is beneficial for the cultivation of D. officinale.

Objective To compare the therapeutic effect of the combination of ~(99m)Tc-methnetium methylene diphosphunate and colloidal chromic,phosphate ~(32)p with the monotherapies in rats with adjuvant arthritis(AA).Methods In this study,50 Sprague-Dawley rats were randomly divided into five groups with 10 rats in each:normal control group(arthritis induced and treated with the same volume of normal saline via the same administration route),AA control group(arthritis induced with adjuvant and treated with normal sa- line),~(32)p colloid group(arthritis induced with adjuvant and treated with single intra-articular injection of col- luidal chromic phosphate ~(32)p 0.74 MBq and intra-peritoneal injection of normal saline every other clay),~(99m)Tc- MDP group(arthritis induced with adjuvant and treated with intra-peritoneal injection of ~(99m)Tc-MDP 2.5?10~(-3)?g/kg every other day and single intra-articular injection of normal saline),combination group(arthritis in- duced with adjuvant and treated with the combination of the two drugs).The diameter of the left hind ankle, serum levels of turnout necrosis factor(TNF)and interleukin-1?(IL-1?),and the pathological changes of an- kle joints were tested at different time points.Results The diameter of the left hind ankle at week 4 was smaller in the combination group than that of the ~(32)p colloid treatment alone group [(7.11?0.34)mm vs(7.57?0.29)mm,P

Objective To evaluate the perioperative safety and effect of irreversible electroporation (IRE) in the treatment of locally advanced pancreatic carcinoma (LAPC).Methods Twenty patients with imaging and cytohystological diagnosis of unresectable locally advanced pancreatic carcinoma were enrolled to undergo IRE treatment.The perioperative IRE-related complications were primarily analyzed to evaluate the safety of the procedure.The tumor reduction and biological response were analyzed through CT/MRI imaging and serous level of CA19-9.Results All patients were successfully treated with an average tumor size of(4.2 ± 0.6) cm and an average procedure time of (52.0 ± 23.3) minutes.Three intraoperative procedure-related complications were observed (15.0％) including two transient hypertension and one transient superventricular tachycardia.Six postoperative complications were described including two Grade A pancreatic fistula,one infection of incision,one portal vein thrombosis,one gastrointestinal hemorrhage and two functional delayed gastric emptying.The symptom remission rate was 73.7％ and lower serum CA19-9 level was recorded in all patients at discharge.Conclusions IRE is a safe and feasible procedure in the treatment of LAPC, and a reasonable operation strategy of IRE is helpful to consolidate the safety and efficacy.

Objective To investigate the mechanisms of tacrolimus on the migration of Langerhans′ cells. Methods The concentration of MCP-1 in the cultured supernatants of HaCaT cell treated with tacrolimus was determined by ELISA. The expression level of MCP-1 mRNA in HaCaT cell treated with tacrolimus was studied by RT-PCR method. Results The concentration of MCP-1 in HaCaT cell treated with 625 ～ 5 000 ng/mL of tacrolimus was significantly decreased. The expression level of MCP-1 mRNA was also markedly decreased. Conclusions Tacrolimus may probably decrease the expression of MCP-1 in keratinocytes and suppress the chemotactic ability of Langerhans′ cells precursor and Langerhans′ cells, thus inhibiting or diminishing certain local immunoreaction.
