Reactivation of hepatitis B virus is a common complication of patients with malignant tumor chemotherapy, and gets more attention in clinicians. But the mechanism of reactivation of hepatitis B virus is not completely understood. There is not a unified definition and the prevention and cure of reactivation of HBV at home and abroad. In this paper, the relevant content of HBV reactivation in recent years is reviewed.

Objective To explore the effects of miRNA-218 on renal cell carcinoma of nude mice in vivo. Methods The pcDNA3.1-miR-218 and its control negative plasmids were stably transfected into renal cell carcinoma cell line A498 and 769-P.These cells were inoculated into nude mice in different groups to observe the changes of body and tumor and to detect the expression of miR-218 in the tissues of nude mice. Results In the A498 cells + pcDNA3.1-miR-218 transfected group, the weight loss of tumor bearing nude mice after 25 days was lower than that in the control group, and the tumor volume was smaller than that in the control group after 10 days (P < 0.05).In the 769-P cells + pcDNA3.1-miR-218 transfected group, the weight loss of tumor bearing nude mice was lower than that in the control group after 19 days, and the tumor volume was smaller than that in control group after 10 days (P < 0.05).The expression of miRNA-218 in bearing nude mice with A498 cells or 769-P cells transfected by miRNA-218 was significantly higher than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05).Conclusion Up-regulation of miRNA-218 expression can inhibit the growth of renal cell carcinoma of nude mice in vivo.

Objectives To describe the esthetic acceptance to dental fluorosis in the rural residents of eastern Guangdong Province and to explore whether the Dean's criteria is still suitable for modern society. Methods A survey was conducted in eastern areas of Guangdong Province in 1 237 cases of 9~17 and 35~44 years old rural residents who drank well water containing 0.1~2.5 mg/L of fluoride. Clinical examination and questionnaire investigation were performed to record dental fluorosis and the severity of perceived appearance of their teeth. Results While the study subjects perceived the appearance of their teeth as " no problem", the community fluorosis index (CFI) was 0.5 and prevalence rate of dental fluorosis was 10.1 %. While perceived "a little bit bad" and "bad" and "very bad", the CFI and prevalence rate would be 0.9 and 33.7 %, 1.3 and 75.8 % and 1.7 and 98.2 % respectively. Conclusion The acceptance to the severity was basically in accordance with Dean's criteria. The Dean's criteria about dental fluorosis is still suitable for rural areas of eastern Guangdong Province and therefore it can be used in setting criteria of fluoride concentration in drinking water in these areas.

Objective To establish a method for determination of total hardness in drinking water by using automatic potentiometric titrator. Methods Dynamic equivalence point titration(DET)and monotonic equivalence point titration(MET)mode was used to determine the high total hardness and low total hardness of drinking water samples respectively. Results Used DET mode to determine the high total hardness, the relative standard deviation(RSD)was 0.69%~1.72% and the recovery rate was 101.5%~102.2%.Used MET mode to determine the low total hardness,RSD was 3.49%~4.00% and the recovery rate was 95.8%- 103.6%.Conclusion This method is rapid, simple, accurate, precise and applicable to the determination of total hardness in drinking water in low and high levels.

With the development of detection technology, point of care testing POCT) presents a tendency of diversity. However, the blood glucose meter and blood gas analyzer are still the major types of POCT in most hospitals. How to manage them effectively has become everyone's concern. The decrease in detection quality is caused by personnel, equipment, reagents, quality control and result reports.According to the baseline survey of POCT carried out in Guangzhou Women and Children's Medical Center,6 key points to improve the quality management were found.Meanwhile, the application of plan-do-check-action (PDCA) may allow access to an effective POCT management program.

ABSTRACT:Objective To analyze the stress changes of tooth tissues in the medial-occlusal (Class Ⅱ)cavity restored with different kinds of inlay materials by the three-dimensional (3-D)finite element. Methods The inlay restored 3-D finite element model of medial-occlusal (Class Ⅱ)cavity was established by CBCT scanning method and reverse engineering software Mimics,Geomagic Studio,Pro/E5.0 software, and finite element analysis software. The Von-mises stress and change tendency of tooth tissues and four different kinds of inlay materials were compared after taking vertical loading and tongue 45°to loading. Results There were different stress levels of tooth tissues among different inlays of medial-occlusal (MO)Class Ⅱ cavity. The stress level of the cobalt chromium alloy inlay was the largest, the stress level of the gold alloy inlay was lower, and the stress level of the composite inlay was the lowest.Dental tissues stress distribution was similar for the four different restorative materials, and focused on hole bottom of dentin near the pulp in dentin. Conclusion Compared with ceramics, gold alloy and cobalt chromium inlay restoration, restoration with composite resin inlay can reduce the organization stress of the remaining tooth in the medial-occlusal (Class Ⅱ)cavity type.

Objective To evaluate the sensitivity and specificity of histopathologie analysis vs cytomegalovirus (CMV) detection for the diagnosis of CMV-infected hepatitis post liver transplantation. Methods Twenty-five biopsies with CMV infection and twenty-five without CMV infection were collected. Histopathologic observation, immunohistochemical staining and virus detection were performed on both groups to evaluate the sensitivity and specificity of these examinations for the diagnosis of CMV-infected hepatitis. Results The detection rate of microabscess, aggregation of monocyte and rnacrophage, and cytomegalic change in CMV infection group was higher than that in the group without CMV infection (P<0.05), but there was no significant difference in intranuclear inclusion and eosinophilic body between the two groups (P>0.05). The sensitivity and specificity of IHC and PCR for CMV detection were 20% and 100%, 72% and 84%, respectively. Conclosions CMV detection with PCR combined with histological observation is the most effective diagnostic scheme for CMV disease of liver.

Objective:To analyse the stress distribution of the tooth and inlay with the restoration of resin, porcelain, gold alloy,co-balt chromium materials respectively.Methods:3-D finite element models of mandibular first molar with meiso-occlusal (class II) cavity and different inlays were established.Von-mises stress distribution on the tooth and inlay with vertical load and lingual load at 45°were analyzed. Results:After restoration peak stress of high elastic module materials and dental inlays was higher than that of the low elastic module material inlays, however, the restorations of the different elastic module materials had the similar stress distribution trend. The stress under of lateral load(lingual at 45°)to the teeth inlays was significantly higher than that under vertical load.Peak stress concentration of tooth was on the bottom of the cavity near the pulp chamber dentin;inlay peak stress distribution is mainly in its corresponding to the gingival wall.In the tooth tissues stress level of the contact surface of inlay restoration, the strength was as the fol-lowing:Composite resin inlay >ceramics inlay >the gold alloy ceramics inlay >cobalt chromium alloy inlay. The stress level of the inlay of the four kinds of inlay restoration materials was just opponent with the tooth tissues. Conclusion:Gingival wall is the weakest part of meiso-occlusal(class II)cavity inlay restoration, while near the pulp chamber at the bottom of the cavity is the weakest part of the tooth.Among the 4 materials Under the same load condition, composite resin inlay restoration has minimal tooth stress and uniform stress distribution, and can reduce the posibility of odontoschism and microleakage.
