Journal of Acupuncture and Tuina Science 2017;15(5):377-381
Objective:To observe the efficacy of acupuncture at points of Shaoyang meridians plus moving cupping on neck and shoulder for migraine. Methods:A total of 64 migraine cases were randomly allocated into an observation group and a control group, 32 cases in each group. Random number table method was used in allocation. Acupuncture at points of Shaoyang meridians and cupping on neck and shoulder were used for cases in the observation group, which contain acupuncture 5 times a week and cupping once a week. Oral flunarizine hydrochloride capsules were used for cases in the control group, 10 mg for each dose, 1 dose a day. 2 weeks constitutes a course of treatment. The patients were treated for two courses of treatment in both groups. After that, the changes of visual analogue scale (VAS) and the migraine disability assessment questionnaire (MIDAS) were observed, as well as the clinical efficacy. Results:The total effective rate and recovery and marked effective rate in the observation group were 93.8% and 71.0% respectively, versus 78.1% and 43.8% in the control group, showing statistical significant differences (both P<0.05). There were significant decreases in VAS and MIDAS scores after treatments in both groups (both P<0.05). VAS and MIDAS scores in the observation group were significantly different from those in the control group (both P<0.05). Conclusion: Combining acupuncture at points of Shaoyang meridians and cupping on neck and shoulder can relieve headache and reduce influence of migraine on life. It can produce a better efficacy than oral flunarizine hydrochloride capsules in treating migraine patients.

The ecological balance of intestinal microbiota plays an important role in digestion,absorp-tion,metabolism,immunity and protection against pathogens.Intestinal microbiota can not only regulate the innate immunity of the body, but also can stimulate the immune response by the bacteria itself and its metabo-lites.The imbalance intestinal microbiota may lead to abnormal immune mechanism, and then participate in the occurrence and development of the tumor, especially colorectal cancer.
5.Experience of diagnosis of 56 cerebral aneurysms cases by 16-slice spiral CTA
China Medical Equipment 2015;(7):93-95,96
Objective:To evaluate the clinical value of 16-slice spiral CTA and methods of diagnosis of cerebral aneurysms. Methods: Fifty six cases of cerebral aneurysms with CTA image data were retrospectively analyzed from July 2012 to July 2014. Omnipaque (350 mgI/100 ml) as contrast agent was used in all cases with injection speed of 4.0 mL/s. The methods of VR, SSD, MIP, MPR, CPR and VE were involved in CTA images reconstruction and processing were implemented with workstation ADW4.2. The diagnosis value of cerebral aneurysms with different methods of vessel reconstruction was analyzed. Results: The location and the size of intracranial aneurysms could be clearly showed with 16-slice spiral CTA. The diagnosis time of methods VR and MIP was shortest and the mean time was 4.3 minutes and 5.1 minutes respectively. There was significant difference between the image and actual size in berry aneurysms with SSD method. Conclusion: The synthetic application of multimethod can improve the diagnostic value of 16-slice spiral CTA in cerebral aneurysms.

Background Several types of cells participate in the formation of proliferative membrane in proliferative retinopathy (PVR),and the proliferation, migration and epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT) of retinal pigment epithelium (RPE) cells play an important role. Many studies have confirmed high blood glucose is the basic pathogenesis of diabetic retinopathy (DR).However, whether EMT could be induced in RPE cells under the high glucose condition has not been reported. Objective This study was to investigate the effects of high glucose on the migration and EMT of RPE cells in high glucose culture model in vitro. Methods Human RPE cell line D407 were cultured and passaged in DMEM/F12 medium with 10% fetal bovine serum, and 6-8 generations of cells were used in experiment. The cells were divided into 3 groups based on different glucose concentrations in medium. The glucose at the final concentration 5.5 mmol/L or 60.0 mmol/L was respectively used in the normal control group or high glucose group, and the DMEM with 5.5 mmol/L glucose and mannitol was used in the hypertonic control group. The migration rate of the cells were detected 0,24,48 and 72 hours after scratching by wound-scratch test.Real-time PCR was used to detect the relative expressions of zonula occludens-1 (ZO-1) and α-smooth muscle actin (α-SMA) in the cells. Results Cultured cells showed a polygon shape with the clear nucleolus and dense arrangement in the normal control group and the hypertonic control group, but the cells were larger and elongated with the lapse of culture time with the indistinct structure and loose arrangement. At 48 hours after scratching, migrating cells were seen in the scratching area, and the scratching area disappeared at 72 hours after scratching in the high glucose group, but the scratching area still was existed in the normal control group or hypertonic control group. The migrating rate of the cells was higher in the high glucose group than that in the normal control group or hypertonic control group, showing total differences among 3 groups and various time points (Fgroup =328.600,P =0.000 ; Ftime =773.270,P=0.000).Compared with the normal control group, the expression level of ZO-1 mRNA was significantly lower, and α-SMA mRNA level was higher 48 hours and 72 hours in the high glucose group than those in the normal control group (all at P<0.05).Conclusions High glucose induce the migration and EMT of RPE cells in vitro, which may be associated with the pathogenesis of proliferative diabetic retinopathy.

Objective This study aimed to discuss the different assessment of pain among medical and nursing staff and cancer patients and supply reference for proper analgesic precept for clinical application and nursing measures. Methods We collected the assessment of psychological pain and physiological pain by 55 hospitalization cancer patients, 40 physicians in-charge and 55 nurses in-charge in one week by Johnson inventory. The assessment results were compared and at the same time the relevant problems of the attitude to cancer pain by patients was also investigated. Results Improper recognition existed in cancer pain treatment by most cancer patients. The physiological pain was higher than the psychological pain assessed by both patients and nurses (P<0.05). But the pain assessment by patients was higher than that by the nurses (P<0.05). The assessment of psychological pain was higher than the physiological pain by doctors and both aspects were lower than those by patients, but no statistical difference was seen (P>0.05). The assessment by doctors was more accurate than that by nurses. Conclusions Routine establishment of pain assessment inventory for patients could instruct patients how to record the degree of their pain. We should strengthen the standard training about pain management knowledge and give timely communication with patients' cancer pain.

ObjectiveTo explore the expression and clinical significance of Ras-related C3 botulinum toxin substrate 1 (Rac-1) protein and hypoxia-inducible factor 1α (HIF-1α) in breast cancer and their relationship with tumor stage, node metastasis status and hormone receptor status. MethodsImmunohistochemical method was used to detect the expression of Rac-1 and HIF-1α protein in 139 specimens of breast cancer, combined with their clinical pathological characteristics and hormone receptor status for statistical analysis. Results The expression of Rac-1 and HIF-1α in breast cancer tissue were 64.75 % and 65.47 %,respectively. The levels were related with the stage of TNM and histological grade (P < 0.05,P < 0.01).There was no significant correlation between these two proteins'expression and the age of patient, primary pathological location, histologic type and menstruation status of breast cancer patients(P > 0.05). The expression of Rac-1 and HIF-1α had no statistical significance between triple negative breast cancer(TNBC)and non-triple negative breast cancer (NTNBC) patients (x2 =1.1229,x2 =0.1786,P > 0.05); The expression level of Rac-1 was positively correlated with HIF-1α in these breast cancer specimens (rs =0.414,P < 0.01).ConclusionThe expression of Rac-1 is positively correlated with HIF-1α level in breast cancer. The relationship between Rac-1 and HIF-1α might be as a new important marker to estimate the invasion, metastasis extent and prognosis in breast cancer.Blocking the regulation between Rac-1 and HIF-1α might be a new treatment target in breast cancer.
