Objective To explore the effect of curcumine on the proliferation and heparanase expression in blood vessel endothelium cells isolated from ovarian cancer tissues. Methods Blood vessel endothelium cells were obtained from pathologically identified ovarian cancer tissues by primary culture. The control group was the normal blood vessel endothelium cells. The experimental groups was treated with curcumine at 2,10,50 and 250 ?g/ml for 24,48 h and 72 h respectively. The cytostasis rate and cell cycle changes of the primarily cultured cells were detected by MTT assay and flow cytometry respectively. The transcriptional and translation levels of heparanase were detected by RT-PCR and immunofluorescent staining. The MDA content and LDH activity in the supernatant were detected too. Results In the curcumine groups, the cell proliferation was inhibited in a dose-dependent and time-dependent manner ( P

International Eye Science 2016;16(6):1076-1079
?Optic neuritis ( ON) is one of the most common causes of vision loss by neural eye diseases in youth and middle-aged. In the past, the diagnosis simply according to the risk position, which did not distinguish from the pathogenesis and clinical characteristics, can not meet the current clinical diagnosis and treatment needs. Combining with the etiology, clinical characteristics and prognosis, the latest classification of the current international diagnosis of ON are typical and atypical ON. Typical ON relates to multiple sclerosis ( MS ) or demyelinating disease of the central nervous system, it has a relatively good therapeutic effect and prognosis. Rather than, atypical ON has complex etiology, clinical manifestation, and the treatment and prognosis are also different. At present there are many international ON treatment guidelines with level I evidence-based medical evidence, but with different genetic background, geographical environment and ethnic groups, they are not been determined. China lacks of such a multicenter large sample, a wide range of research evidence. In this paper, we will summarize the progress of the diagnosis and treatment about ON, especially about the atypical ON, in order to provide some suggestions to further improve the standardization and individualization for clinical diagnosis and treatment on ON.

Objective To observe the changes of femur biomechanical properties in fluorosis rats. Methods Fifty Wistar rats of thirty-day old, weighing 90-100 g, were randomly divided according to body mass into fluorosis and control group of 25 each. Fluorosis group drank tap water containing 100 mg/L of fluoride, the control group drank tap water. The rats were observed of dental growing status and killed after feeding 6 months. Their femurs underwent tensile strength, impact, shear, bending experiments. Results The deteetable rate of dental fluorosis was significantly higher in fluorosis group[92%(23/25)] than control group[0(0/25),X2=38.97, P<0.01]. Biomeehanical data in fluorosis group(225.67±11.81,1.94±0.15,76.62±6.10,39.96.3±3.90) were lower than those of the control group(244.70±13.38,2.39±0.19,87.72±7.05,45.75±3.75) in experiments of tensile strength (MPa), impact toughness (J/mm2), shear and bending strength (MPa). The difference was statistically significant(t=3.372,5.879,3.756 and 3383, respectively, P<0.01) between the two groups. Conclusion Fluorides affected bone metabolism in rats, femur biomechanieal properties ehanged in fluorosis rats.
