Objective To observe the effects of Lentinan(LNT) combined with Cisplatin (DDP) on the apoptosis induction in mice bearing Lewis lung carcinomas (LLC). Methods Lewis lung carcinoma cells (1?107) were subcutaneously inoculated into BALB/c mice. Mice were randomized into control groups and treatment groups. Observe the morphologic views under light microscope (LM) and electron microscope (EM). Results Compared with the control groups, the treatment groups were morphologic characteristic by relatively smaller in size, cell atypia were not evident, pathalogical karyokinesis were less interstitial blood vessel were fewer, while lymphocyte infiltrate into the interstitial. Apoptotic bodies could be seen under EM. Within all treatment groups, LNT+DDP group showed significant difference. Conclusions Lentinan combined with Cisplatin showed significant antitumor effects, and mechanism maybe inducing the tumor cell apoptosis and stimulate the proliferation of lymphocyte.

Objective:To analyze the job preference of doctors at township health center ( THC) and provide references for formulating effective policy. Methods:238 cases of doctors were sampled from Shandong, Anhui and Shaanxi provinces. Using a discrete choice experiment, we analyzed the data with a conditional logit model. Results:The most important job attribution was salary, followed by education for children, permanent post, work location, training opportunity, and years before promotion. The OR value of the monthly income of 8 000 yuan is 7. 0 compared to 2 000 yuan. Doctors will pay 3 857 yuan and 3 294 yuan respectively for better education for children and perma-nent posts. Monthly income increasing to 8 000 yuan will reduce the quitting rate from 35% to 8%, and providing better education for children and permanent posts will reduce 5%. The permanent posts at township health center and non-permanent posts in county hospital have the same appeal to the doctor. Conclusion:When choosing a job, doc-tors at THCs valued salary the most. Improving the education level for children can be beneficial for attracting and re-taining doctors at THCs. A permanent post is more attractive to doctors than non-permanent posts at THCs.

Objective To study the impact of postoperative aerobic exercise on the cardiac function of breast cancer patients during anthracyclines-based chemotherapy. Methods Sixty cases of female breast cancer pa-tients, from June 2014 to December 2015 for anthracyclines-based chemotherapy, were randomly divided into ex-perimental group (n = 30) and control group (n = 30). Four cycles of conventional anthracyclines-based chemotherapy were conducted in control group, while three times of aerobic exercise per week were added in exper-imental group until the end of treatment course apart from conventional treatment. The peak oxygen consumption (VO2max) and maximum heart rate (HRmax) were measured before and after chemotherapy in both groups, ac-companied by ECG monitoring and blood collecting to measure the changes in their N-terminal pro-brain natriuretic peptide (NT-proBNP), serum creatinine (SCr) and kinase isoenzyme (CK-MB). Results No significant differ-ences in various indicators before chemotherapy were reported between two groups (P>0.05). After chemotherapy, VO2 max/kg [(21.9 ± 3.6) vs. (14.5 ± 2.8) mL/(min·kg)], VO2 max [(1 523 ± 186) vs. (911 ± 185) mL/min] and HRmax[(115 ± 15) vs. (129 ± 16) beats/min] in experimental group were significantly improved when com-pared with those in control group; significant differences in hematological levels and ECG changes were also ob-served between two groups. Conclusion Aerobic exercise during chemotherapy can mitigate the cardiotoxicity of anthracyclines to patients, which provides a new idea and therapy to reduce the incidence of clinical cardiovascular events induced by anthracyclines-based chemotherapy.

Objective To investigate the epidemiological characteristics of occupational exposure to human immunodeficiency vi-rus (HIV) in Chongqing to provide the scientific basis for avoiding and reducing the HIV occupational exposures in the future . Methods All archival data of the exposed individuals came to our hospital for seeking post-exposure consultation and treatment during 2009-2012 were performed the classification and arrangement for conducting the descriptive analysis on the distribution characteristics of the age ,gender ,occupation ,working region ,exposure mode and severity of exposure .Results During this period , there were 135 cases of occupational exposure ,which ocurred in the medical institutions outside the main urban area (74 .18% ) , dominated by the nurses (57 .04% ) and doctors(33 .33% ) .21-30 years old (51 .85% ) and 31 -40 years old(33 .33% ) were the age groups with more occurrence of occupational exposure .The exposure routes were dominated by the sharp instrument injury (92 .59% ) and the exposure degree was mainly the secondary exposure ( 69 .63% ) .Conclusion The prevalence situation of HIV occupational exposure in Chongqing is stable in the total trend .The medical and health institutions outside main urban area should perfect the management system ,strengthen training ,put the standard prophylaxis principles to practice for reducing the occurrence of occupational exposure .

Objective To establish an experimental retinal artery occlusion (RAO) model by means of photochemistry therapy with 532 nm frequency-doubled laser, and to evaluate the feasibility of this method. Methods Ten eyes from ten healthy adult New Zealand rabbits were intravenously injected 5% rose bengal solution, then their monocular retinal artery was irradiated by 532 nm frequency-doubled laser. Both eyes of these rabbits were examined by direct ophthalmoscope and fundus photographic camera on the 1st hour, 24th hour and 3rd day. Meanwhile, the experimental eyes were examined by fundus fluorescein angiography (FFA). These rabbits were killed on the 3rd day, experimental eyes were enucleated, the retina was observed under light microscope. Results There were 9 eyes approved having RAO by direct ophthalmoscope and FFA. Thrombi in retinal arterials could be found by light microscope in all these 9 experimental eyes, and the walls of blood vessel were intact without any obvious necrosis or attenuation. Conclusions RAO animal model can be induced by photochemistry therapy with 532 nm frequency-doubled laser. There are thrombi in the retinal artery without trauma of the artery wall. Photochemistry therapy is an efficient, secure and reproducible method to induce animal model of RAO.

Objective To explore the clinical characteristics,diagnosis and therapeutic strategies of acute appendicitis in pregnancy.Methods The clinical data of 45 cases with acute appendicitis in pregnancy,which had been diagnosed by surgeries in our hospital since Jan 2010 to Jun 2016,were retrospectively analysed.Results All patients had exhibited abdominal pain.Among them,15 patients(33.3％)had exhibited shifting pain in right lower quadrant,and 44 patients(97.8％)had abdominal tenderness.4 cases with appendiceal gangrene and 1 case with necrosis of the great omentum had been found during the surgeries.There were 5 patients had occurred complications after the surgeries,including 2 cases with poor wound healing,1 case with septic shock,1 case with inflammatory ileus and 1 case with incompletely adhesive ileus.Threatened abortion and threatened premature delivery were found in 11 patients(during 22+3 to 36+2 weeks gestation)after the surgeries.Finally,1 patient occurred abortion(25+3 weeks gestation)and 3 patients occurred premature delivery(during 28+4 to 30+4 weeks gestation).Conclusion Abdominal pain as the main clinical manifestations of the pregnancy with acute appendicitis,prone to severe complications.

Objective To investigate the changes in the expression of keratin genes in renal tissues during renal ischemia-reperfusion (I/R) injury in mice.Methods Six wild type male C57/B6 mice,aged 50 days,weighing 20-30 g,were divided into 2 groups (n=3 each) using a random number table:sham operation group (Sham group) and I/R group.Right renal arteries and veins were clamped for 1 h followed by reperfusion,and the left kidneys were removed to establish the model of renal I/R injury.At 24 h of reperfusion,blood samples were collected from the left ventricle for determination of serum creatinine and urea nitrogen concentrations by colorimetric method.The right kidney specimens were obtained for pathologic examination and for determination of the expression of kidney injury molecule-1 and neutrophil gelatinase-associated lipocalin mRNA (by quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction [qRT-PCR]) and keratin genes (by Affemetrixc DNA microarray).The differentially expressed genes identified were further confirmed by qRT-PCR.Results Compared with Sham group,the serum creatinine and urea nitrogen concentrations were significantly increased,the expression of kidney injury molecule-1 and neutrophil gelatinase-associated lipocalin mRNA was up-regulated (P＜0.05),and the damage to the renal tubules was aggravated in I/R group.The results of microarray analysis showed that only keratin 20 gene (the expresion was up-regulated) was the differentially expressed gene (P＜0.05),and the results measured by qRT-PCR were consistent with those measured by Affemetrixc DNA microarray.Conclusion Keratin 20 gene expression in renal tissues is up-regulated during renal I/R injury in mice,and the change may be involved in the endogenous protective mechanism during renal I/R injury.

This study analyze the characteristics and clinical medicine in 17 hospitals all over China, based on hospital information system diagnostic information database, including 4 497 cases of hospitalized patients with Parkinson's syndrome. Results indicate, the most common comorbidities are infarction, hypertension, coronary heart disease, diabetes and lung infections, including cerebral infarction, the combined incidence of hypertension in men reached 33.46% and 30.05%, respectively, it is slightly lower in the females. Men with coronary heart disease are more than women, women with diabetes and bone disease are more than men. Combined incidence of the disease increases with age, vascular factors occupy an important position. The most common combined diseases in patients with 90 years of age or older are coronary heart disease, lung infection, and often accompanied by metabolic disorders and nutritional emergency, critical care. Constipation, depression, anxiety, sleep disorders, cognitive impairment are common non-motor symptoms. The drug categories associated with Parkinson's core symptoms treatment are about 20% to 30% of clinical medicine, the others are associated with the treatment of combined disease, clinical medicine and disease spectrum consistent. Blood circulation topped Chinese agents applied frequency, reaching 44.52%; laxative drugs accounted for 11.66%; detoxification agent representing 9.46%. The first twenty Chinese medicine of the applying frequency reached 56.07% of the total utilization, including 12 kinds of traditional Chinese medicine injections, accounting for 60%. Therefore, in the diagnosis and treatment of Parkinsons syndrome, the treatment of comorbidities is very important, more attentions should be paid to vascular factors of the disease, Chinese medicine should be more concerned to improve the non-motor symptoms, give full play to the pharmaceutical multi-target, the overall regulation of advantages, integrative medicine, and improve the quality of life of patients.

To explore the effect of Kudiezi injection on renal function in the real world, in order to provide the basis for the clinical medication safety. Patient aged between 18-80 were selected from 18 large hospitals information system (HIS) databases established by clinical research institute for basic traditional Chinese medicine of China academy of Chinese medical sciences. The patients who were treated with Kudiezi injection (24 225 cases) were defined as the exposed group, whereas those who were not treated with Kudiezi injection (14,191 cases) were defined as the non-exposed group. The propensity score method was used to balance the confounding factors. Classic logistic regression, GBM weighted propensity score logistic regression, GBM propensity score weighted logistic regression with covariate and sensitivity analysis were adopted to study the effect of Kudiezi injection on renal function. The results showed no significant difference in the possibility in abnormality in serum creatinine (Scr) (P = 0.940, 0.679, 0.834) and urea nitrogen (BUN) (P = 0, 0.045, 0.164) between both groups. Therefore, the existing data indicated no damage of Kudiezi injection on renal function. Because this study is a retrospective study based on the real world, there may be unknown confounding factors and potential bias. Therefore, further studies shall be conducted to monitor whether Kudiezi injection causes damage on renal function, in order to ensure the clinical medication safety.
