Objective To analyze the CT features of large adrenal adenoma and to compare the pathological features of large adenoma and small adenoma in order to improve the diagnosis of large adenoma.Methods The unenhanced and enhanced CT images of 14 patients with large adrenal adenoma,proven surgically and pathologically and pathological features of small adrenal adenomas in 30 cases were retrospectively reviewed.The pathological features were evaluated in the cell composition,the incidence of cystic degeneration and hemorrhage of large adenoma and small adenoma.Results 14 large adenomas were unilateral and single,3 had distinct margin and 11 had indistinct margin,14 showed regular contour of round or ellipse,the size of tumors were 5 cm?5.5 cm～18 cm?20 cm.14 large adenomas presened heterogenous density in unenhanced CT study with CT value of-36～51 HU,and 3 showed calcification and 6 showed cystic degeneration.Most of the 14 adenomas presented heterogenenous enhancement after contrast administration.Pathologic examination indicated that the clear cells were predominant in the cell composition of small adenoma,while in the case of large adenoma,the proportion of compact cell predominance was equivalent to that of the clear cell and compact cell concomitance.3 small adenomas and 6 large adenomas had cystic degeneration,5 small adenomas and 4 large adenomas had hemorrhage respectively.Statistical analysis suggested that large adenoma had higher incidence of degeneration than that in small adenoma,while no difference was found in the cell composition and incidence of hemorrhage between large adenoma and small adenoma.Conclusion The large adrenal adenomas have higher incidence of degeneration than that in small adenoma,while no difference is found in cell composition and incidence of hemorrhage between large adenoma and small adenoma.

OBJECTIVE:To detect and analyze the drug resistance of the AmpC and the extended-spectrum ?-lactamases(ESBLs)in Escherichia coli(E coli)from urinary infections.METHODS:ESBLs was detected by Phenotypic Confirmatory Test and AmpC was detected by improved three dimensional test.RESULTS:The isolating rates of ESBLs(45 strains),AmpC(8 strains)and AmpC+ESBLs in E.coli(5 strains)were 34.6%,6.2% and 3.8%,respectively.The drug resistance rates of ESBLs and AmpC-producing E.coli was higher than those of the strains without producing ESBLs or AmpC.CONCLUSION:Production of AmpC and ESBLs in ?-lactam antibiotics was the main resistance mechanism against E.coli.Carbopenems should be regarded as the first choice in clinical empirical medication for enzyme-producing strains.

In the past, the ways to amblyopia neural mechanism research are given priority to visual electrophysiology and so on, which express the result use two -dimensional form, these ways mainly research the functions of the state before the lateral geniculate body. For the study of optic center, animal models are used to research it. But these kinds of methods are unable to accurately detect amblyopia neural mechanisms of human beings. Vulnerable to a variety of factors, it is difficult to finish the amblyopia treatment effect evaluation. Functional magnetic resonance imaging ( fMRI ) can reflect the three-dimensional visual cortex neuron activity noninvasively and accurately, and give rise to amblyopia neural mechanism and therapeutic effect evaluation. Therefore, in this paper, the amblyopia neural mechanisms and visual center after treatment effect evaluation of fMRI research progress are summarized.

Objective:To observe the effect on the apoptosis of breast cancer cell MCF-7 with acupunctural and moxibustional therapy.Methods:Zusanli and Sanyinjiao neiguan in both sides of female Wistar mice were acupunctured and moxibusted.MCF-7 cell was cultirated with the serum.To detecte the cytoxicity with MTT,and detecte the apoptosic rate and Fas expression rate with flow cytometry after 72 hours.Results:The Fas expression was obviously increased upto 57.70% after 72h.The proliferation of MCF-7 was inhibited remarkably.The inhibition rate were 17.55%,24.71% and 31.85% after 12h,24h and 72h.The apoptosic rate were 8.72% and 10.18% after 72h,remarkably higher than the control group(P

Objective To investigate the autonomic nervous system function of hyperthyroidism and hyperthyroidism by analyzing the heart rate variability of patients with the diseases. Methods 12-synchronous dynamic 24-hour monitoring and man-machine dialogue were used in 36 patients with hyperthyroidism, 30 patients with hypothyroidism and 26 cases of healthy volunteers(controls), and 24-hour electrocardiogram was analyzed.Heart rate variability indicators observed included 24 h consecutive sinus standard deviation of R-R interval (SDNN), standard deviation of sequential five-minute R-R interval (SDANN), percentage of differences between adjacent NN intervals that ＞ 50 ms(PNN50), root mean square standard deviation from adjacent R-R interval (rMSSD), low-frequency power (LF), high frequency power (HF), low frequency power/high frequency power (LF/HF). Results In hyperthyroidism group, SDNN[(80.48 ± 11.95)ms], PNN50[(18.56 ± 3.50)%], rMSSD [ ( 13.56 ± 3.45)ms] were significantly lower than those of the control group[ ( 128.06 ± 12.8)ms, (32.84 ± 7.21)%,(30.84 ± 6.12)ms, all P ＜ 0.05 ], and LF/HF(3.78 ± 1.63) were significantly higher than that of the control group (2.34 ± 1.06, P ＜ 0.05). In hypothyroidism group, SDNN[(65.65 ± 15.55)ms], SDAN[ (80.2 ± 15.72)ms],PNN50[ (16.34 ± 3.56)%], rMSSD [ (15.77 ± 3.58)ms ], LF[ (279.03 ± 91.49)ms2/Hz ] were also significantly lower than those of the control group[ (128.06 ± 12.87)ms, (132.40 ± 21.95 )ms, (32.84 ± 7.21 )%, (30.84 ± 6.12)ms, (525.60 ± 84.11)ms2/Hz, all P ＜ 0.05], but LF/HF (1.08 ± 0.73) was lower than that of the control group,however, the difference was not significant(P ＞ 0.05). Conclusions The heart rate in patients with abnormal thyroid function is lower in the overall performance, but in patients with hyperthyroidism sympathetic activity is dominate, while in patients with hypothyroidism, vagal nerve activity is dominate.

Methods A total of 56 cases of hyperthyroidism from the Second Affiliated Hospital of Harbin Medical University and the Second Hospital of Harbin City were enrolled as research subjects. 12-synchronous dynamic 24-hour monitoring and man-machine dialogue were used 6 months before and after 131Ⅰ treatment, and 49 cases of healthy volunteers were selected as controls.Heart rate variability indicators observed included 24 h consecutive sinus standard deviation of R-R interval (SDNN), standard deviation of sequential five-minute R-R interval (SDANN), percentage of differences between adjacent NN intervals that > 50 ms(PNN50), root mean square standard deviation from adjacent R-R interval (rMSSD), very low frequency power(VLF), low frequency power(LF), high frequency power(HF), and low frequency power/high frequency power(LF/HF). Results In hyperthyroidism group before 131Ⅰ therapy, SDNN[(85.25 ± 13.59)ms], SDANN [( 95.47 ± 33.15)ms], PNN50 [( 15.26 ± 4.84) %], rMSSD [( 14.47 ~ 3.49) ms], LF [(435.57 ± 75.74)ms2/Hz], and HF[(129.81 ± 63.21 )ms2/Hz] were significantly lower than those of the control group [(155.24 ±15.87), ( 134.02 ± 24.15)ms, (29.41 ± 6.21 )%, (26.64 ± 6.11 )ms, (515.69 ± 74.83)ms2/Hz, and (265.93 ± 58.84)ms2/Hz, all P < 0.05], VLF[(1765.21 ± 315.22)ms2] and LF/HF(3.95 ± 1.89) were significantly higher than that of the control group[(374.25 ± 54.47)ms2, 2.94 ± 1.55, all P < 0.05]. In hyperthyroidism group after treatment,SDNN [(126.91 ± 16.32)ms], SDANN[(125.2 ± 43.22)ms], PNN50[(26.34 ~ 7.56)%], rMSSD[(24.85 ± 7.85)ms],LF [(489.35 ± 91.49)ms2/Hz], and HF [(209.45 ± 75.32)ms] were also significantly higher than those before 131Ⅰ therapy, VLF[(571.80 ± 97.41)ms] and LF/HF(2.41 ± 0.93) were lower than that before 131Ⅰ therapy,but SDNN, PNN50 and HF were lower and VLF was higher than those of the control group (all P < 0.05). Conclusions The heart rate variability in patients with hyperthyroidism is lower in the overall performance, sympathetic activity is dominate, 131Ⅰ therapy partly corrects abnormal autonomic nerve function.

Objective To explore the change of serum level of neuron specific enolase (NSE) in neonates with asphyxia before and after head mild hypothermia.Methods Eighty-two asphyxial neonates were selected,including 39 mild asphyxial neonates and 43 severe asphy-xial neonates,and 29 healthy neonates were selected as control group.Forty-three severe asphyxial neonates were randomly assigned into mild hypothermia treatment group and traditional treatment group.Neonates in traditional treatment group were just given traditional treatment.While neonates in mild hypothermia treatment group received head mild hypothermia therapy and their nasopharyngeal temperature were maintained at(34.0 ? 0.5) ℃ for 72 h.Before treatment and 72 h after treatment,2 mL blood was collected,and the serum NSE was determined by radio immunoassay.Results NSE levels in mild asphyxial neonates group[(34.83?6.17) ?g/L] and severe asphyxial group[(59.58?8.87) ?g/L] were significantly higher than that of control group[(30.57?4.88) ?g/L](t=3.07 P0.05).The level of NSE at 72 h in severe asphyxial neonates with head mild hypothermia therapy[(40.97?6.55) ?g/L] was significantly lower than that of traditional treatment group [(48.15?5.57) ?g/L](t=3.86 P

Her-2 receptor has already been identified as one of the most important biological markers of some malignant tumors,and also plays an important role in the biological behavior of those tumor cells.The over-expression of Her-2 receptor is associated with radioresistance of various tumor cells,and thus an antibody to Her-2/neu receptor can probably function as a radiosensitizer.In this review,we summarized some advances in the molecular mechanism and clinical aspects of the relationship between Her-2 and cellular radiosensitivity.
