Objective To understand the perception of health status in people with prehypertension. Methods Using the phenomenological method, 15 people with prehypertension were interviewed; the interview results were analyzed deeply. Results Five themes were extracted about health status:obscured perception about prehypertension and hypertension;absence of noticeable symptoms;necessity to change life-style, but lack of effective health self-management; many factors hindering effective health self-management; desire for professional help. Conclusions Perception of health status in people with prehypertension indicated deficiencies in health self-management. What they need were accessible professional support and intervention program that pay attention to people′s health belief and behavioral motivation.

Objective:Following the detection of the safety of nerve and muscle stimulators YY 0607-2007 standard, approach the characteristics of nerve and muscle stimulators. Methods: By understanding the standards of particular requirements for the safety of nerve and muscle stimulators and test method for measuring output characteristics of the nerve and muscle stimulators, different types of the products were received multiple detections, analysis, compare and make summary of the features of measuring output characteristics of products. Results:Through proposing the highlights before the detection, sorting complex detection conditions, identifying detection contents and reasonable detection order, combined with the characteristics of nerve and muscle stimulators to make the standard rules more reasonable. Conclusion: It made the detection of output characteristics more convenient and avoided the occurrence of false and missing detection.

Objective To investigate the protective effect of Niacin on blood-retina barrier (BRB) in diabetic rats and related mechanism.Methods The male Wistar rats (60) were divided into control (CON) group,diabetes (DM) group and Niacin-treated (NA) group,20 rats in each group.Rats diabetes models were induced with streptozotocin injection.Niacin (40 mg/kg · d) was administrated orally everyday in Niacin-treated group until sacrificed after 3 months.Pathological outcomes,total cholesterol (TC) and highdensity lipoprotein (HDL) were evaluated at month 3.Optical microscopy was used to observe the retinal structure.The integrity of BRB and the vascular permeability was quantified by analyzing albumin leakage using Evans blue (EB) method.The relative expressions of Claudin-5,Occludin,zonula occluden (ZO)-1 and GPR109A mRNA in rat retinas were detected by reverse transcription PCR (RT-PCR) and relative expression of GPR109A,tumor necrosis factor (TNF)-α and interleukin (IL)-6 by Western blot.Results Compared to CON group,the TC content was increased and HDL content was decreased in DM group (t=4.034,5.831;P＜0.05).Compared to DM group,the TC content was decreased and HDL content was increased in NA group (t=6.868,3.369;P＜0.05).The retinal structure of CON group was normal.Pathological changes were found in the DM group,such as tumescent nuclei and disorganized structures.The retinal structure of NA group was similar to the control group.Evans blue dye that the microvascular leakage in DM group was increased compared with CON group (t=24.712,P＜0.05),while in NA group was decreased compared with DM group (t =16.414,P＜ 0.05).The mRNA expression of Occludin,Claudin-5,ZO-1 in DM group were decreased compared with CON group (t=11.422,12.638,12.060;P＜ 0.05),while in NA group were increased compared with DM group (t=5.278,3.952,8.030;P＜0.05).The mRNA expression of GPR109A in NA group were increased compared with DM group (t=5.053,P＜ 0.05).The protein expression of GPR109A,IL-6,TNF-αin DM group were increased compared with CON group (t=4.915,11.106,6.582;P＜0.05).Compared to DM group,the protein expression of GPR109A was increased (t=5.806,P＜0.05),while the protein expression of IL-6 and TNF-α were decreased (t=10.131,5.017;P＜0.05).Conclusion Niacin has the protective effect for BRB by up-regulating GPR109A expression which may suppress inflammation.

Objective: To evaluate the effects of pin retention form and different bonding agents on the tensile bond and re-bond strength of Ni/Cr alloy to the enamel. Methods: Sixty bovine permanent incisors were randomly divided into 6 equal groups by the variables of the numbers (0, 1 or 2) of pins to be prepared and bonding agents (Panavia F and Super-Bond C&B). The pin 1mm in diameter and 1mm in depth was prepared vertically to each enamel surface in the groups to be with pins. Cast Ni/Cr alloys cy-linders were made and bonded to respective enamels using two different agents. Tensile strengths were tested. After residual visible resin on the debonded surfaces being removed, specimens were re-bonded and tested in the same way as initial bonding. By using gene SOEing PCR, Arg (CGC) in the expression fragment of chitinase gene (chi58) from Chaetomium cupreum was mutated synonymously to Arg (AGA), which is a bias code of Pichia pas-toris yeast. The expression plasmid pPIC9K-chi58A was constructed and transformed into GS115 strain through electroporation. The chitinase activity reached 101.71 U/mL?3.33 U/mL after induced with 120 h, which was the 3 fold of the original strain (31.83 U/mL?4.85 U/mL). Additionally, recombinant yeast showed good genetic stability after 10 cycle. SDS-PAGE analysis suggested that the weight of protein was 58 kD.

AlM: To study the relationship of retinal associated lesions and postoperative visual acuity of cataract phacoemulsification.
METHODS:From February 2013 to February 2014, 120 cases with given cataract phacoemulsification were divided into observation group and control group. Cases in observation group were with of retinal associated lesions, those in control group were without retinal associated lesions. The best corrected visual acuity, ision acuity, visual evoked potential, intraocular pressure were compared between two groups.
RESULTS:Two weeks after surgery, visual acuity in observation group was higher than those of before therapy. Visual acuity recovery rate of observation group was significantly slower than that of control group; best corrected vision, visual acuity in observation group was significantly lower than that in control group;observation group's amplitude (12. 01±4. 50ü V) was significantly lower than control group, incubation period (114. 29±11. 32ms) was significantly higher than control group; After 6, 12, 24h, intraocular pressure (23. 64 ± 4. 28, 24. 12 ± 5. 13 and 18. 28± 3. 22mmHg) were significantly higher than control group.
CONCLUSlON: Retinal associated lesions can lead to visual evoked potential change, elevated lOP, affect postoperative visual recovery level.
