After being introduced to Japan, the Chinese acupuncture and massage therapy has changed a lot, in which the influence aroused by the blind practitioners cannot be ignored. Through analyzing the development and the transition of the blind acupuncture and massage industry in Japan, it is found that the tube needle technique, changeable acupoints concept, technical deviation and the importance on acupoints rather than meridians are still existed commonly today, which are introduced by the blind acupuncture and massage practitioners, the special group in Japan. In the process of development, the interaction with the governmental strategy has played the essential role in the consolidation of the above features.

Objective To observe the effect of Diosmin Tablets about the prevention and treatment of edema that breaks out after a circular mixed hemorrhoids operation and the role of fibrosis on edema.Methods Having 120 cases of circular mixed hemorrhoid patients, Acco 60 cases were randomly divided into treatment group and the others were in comparison group.Both groups were outside the cut line of circular mixed hemorrhoid ligation within the injection, after these operations do conventional anti-inflammatory, hemostasia and local Ma Ying Long musk hemorrhoids ointment medication.The next day of the operation, the treatment group take a dose of Diosmin tablets 1.5 g bid 4 d, then changing the dose 1 g bid 3 d.ResultsThe incidence of edema, treatment group was 6.6% and the other group was 30%.edema in the incidence of the two groups were significantly different(P ＜ 0.01).The treatment group non-fibrosis, but the other group have 4 patients getting fibrosis.The two sets of rate about edema fibrosis were significantly different(P ＜ 0.01).Conclusion Diosmin Tablets can effectively do prevent and disperse circular mixed hemorrhoid postoperative edema.

Objective To detect the levels of Th1 and Th2 type cytokines of peripheral blood CD+4 T lymphocytes in the patients with cervical cancer in order to find out the laboratory evidence of tumor immunotherapy. Methods The peripheral blood lymphocytes were stimulated by stimulator in order to enhance expression of cytokines. Then specific fluorochrome-conjugated monoclonal antibody was added to be combined with its specific antigen. Results The level of IL-2 produced by Th1 cells were lower in patients of cervical cancer than those of normal controls, there were significant difference between them. But the level of IFN-? produced by Th1 cells had no significant change in patients of cervical cancer in comparison with normal controls. The levels of Th2 type cytokines such as interleukin-4(IL-4), interleukin-6(IL-6), interleukin-10(IL-10) were higher in patients of cervical cancer than those of normal controls, there were significant difference between them. Conclusion Th1/Th2 is imbalance in cervical cancer .Th1 type cytokines are inhibited, and Th2 type cytokines are relatively enhanced, so Th1/Th2 shifts to Th2. It may be the mechanism of tumor arising and transferring by immune escape from immunosurveillance.

Objective To study the effect of rosiglitazone (RSG), the agonist of peroxisome proliferator activated receptor γ (PPARγ), on the proliferation and differentiation of rat osteoblasts and the related mechanisms. Methods The identification of rat primary osteoblasts was performed by alkaline phosphatase (ALP) staining and mineralized nodules. The 3-(4,5)-dimethylthiahiazo (-z-y1)-3,5-di-phenytetrazoliumromide (MTT) assay and p-nitrophenyl phosphate (PNPP) assay were used to observe the effects of different concentrations of RSG on proliferation and differentiation of the osteoblasts. The reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) were used to detect the expression of connective tissue growth factor (CTGF) mRNA. The effects of the different concentrations (0,1,2,5,10 and 20 μmol/L) of RSG on TGF-β1-induced CTGF mRNA expression in osteoblasts were detected. Results (1)Different concentrations of RSG could not change the proliferation of osteoblasts (P＞0. 05). (2)Compared with control group, all different concentrations of RSG could suppress ALP activity in osteoblasts (P＜0. 01 ). (3) RSG suppressed the osteoblats CTGF mRNA expression induced by TGF-β1 in a dose-dependent manner (P＜0. 01). Conclusions In vitro, RSG can inhibit the TGF-β1 induced rat osteoblasts CTGF mRNA expression. RSG may play a potential role in preventing the differentiation of the rat osteoblasts.

objective To observe the differences between four- and single-channel recording of normal multifocal visual evoked potential (mfVEP). Methods mfVEP of 35 health individuals (70 eyes) were detected by both four- and single-channel recording with VERIS apparatus. The root mean square (RMS) value of reactive amplitude was obtained from the results of the two kinds of recording. Each stimulated patch was analyzed to compare the variational degree of each patch between the two recording methods. Responases asymmetry coefficient (RAC) was introduced to evaluate the symmetry property between the two eyes in an individual. Results Compared with the single-channel recording,the responses of the stimulated patches of the four-channel recording were increased statistically, with most of the patches below the horizontal meridian and some of patches in the upper field, and there was distinct symmetry property between the two eyes in the same individual recorded by four-channel recording. Conclusion The four-channel recording is better than the single one and could be clinically applied and popularized.

The heterogeneity is one of the main points in study on the mast cells. In the present paper, the heterogeneity of skin connective mast cells (CTMC) in comparison with that of gastrointestinal mucosal mast cells (MMC) with both toluidine blue staining and immunostaining was studied. The results showed that the CTMC fixed with formaldehyde could be demonstrated with routine toluidine blue staining, whereas the MMC could be demonstrated only with lower pH and prolonged staining duration. In immunostaining almost all of the CTMC showed serotoninimmunoreactivity, and only 10% of the CTMC showed substance P-immunoreactivity; while approximate 35% of the MMC showed serotonin-immunoreacivity and no substance P-immunoreactivity was found. The results indicate that the mast cell heterogeneity may be found in toluidine blue staining as well as in immunostaining.

Chipaozi, the dried mature fruit of Thladiantha dubia Bge. family Cucurbitaceae, hasbeen found to be used in mixture with Wanggua, the fruit of Trichosanthes cucumeroides (Ser. ) Maxim.of the same family.A comparative study on the morphological and characteristics of these two drugs were carried out and reported.

Background Studies have showed an increasing prevalence of glaucoma in patients with obstructive sleep apnea-hypopnea syndrome (OSAHS).However,this view remains controversial.Objective This Meta analysis was to assess whether there is an association between glaucoma and OSAHS.Methods A systematic search in PubMed database was carried out with the subject headingssleeping apnea andglaucoma.The literature type was limited to cases-controlled studies and prospective cohort studies with the publishing duration from January 1,1982 to January 30,2015 in English.The risk of glaucoma among OSAHS patients was analyzed,and Review Manager 5.2 was applicated for Meta analysis.The pooled odds ratio (OR) and 95％ confidence interval (CI) was calculated to assess the strength of the association.Results Twelve independent retrospective casescontrolled studies were included in this review,including 11 592 subjects in the OSAHS group and 25 931 subjects in the control group.The study quality was scored 6-8 by Newcastle-Ottawa Scale which was acceptable.The random effects model was accepted because of the heterogeneity among the studies (x2=34.20,P＜0.05,I2 =68％).The prevalence of glaucoma was higher in the OSAHS group than that in the control group (OR =1.87,95％ CI:1.21-2.90,Z=2.82,P＜0.05).The subgroup analysis of OSAHS showed that the OR (95％ CI) of mild,moderate and severe OSAHS groups versus control group was 3.61 (0.56-23.43),4.17 (0.47-36.91) and 6.95 (1.14-42.26),respectively.Sensitivity analysis confirmed that the OR value fluctuated in 1.74-2.16 and closed to 1.87.Funnel graphy exhibited a asymmetry appearance among the literatures,which suggested a possible publication bias.Conclusions OSAHS is one of the risk factors of glaucoma.The serious OSAHS is associated with an increased risk of glaucoma.
