OBJECTIVE: To develop a method for determination of the content of Dexamethasone acetate in Compound tretinoin ointment by RP-HPLC. METHODS: The separation was performed on C18 column with methanol: water (70∶30) as a mobile phase, wavelength of UV detector at 240nm. RESULTS: The linear range of Dexamethasone acetate was within 0.028 3～0.849 0?g(r=0.999 9). The average recovery of Dexamethasone acetate was 101.13%, with RSD at 1.28%. CONCLUSION: The method is simple, rapid and capable of producing good separation results. It can be applied to the quality control of Compound tretinoin ointment.

OBJECTIVE:To investigate situation and trend of proton pump inhibitors in 19 hospital of Hangzhou area and to provide reference for the research,production,sales and clinical application of this kind of drugs. METHODS:Utilization of proton pump inhibitors in 19 hospital of Hangzhou area during the period of 2004～2008 were analyzed statistically in respect of consumption sum,DDDs and DDC. RESULTS:Both consumption sum and DDDs of proton pump inhibitors increased quickly in recent five years. Amount of oral omeprazole(capsule and tablet)was the greatest among those categories and increased steadily. Amount of rabeprazole and esomeprazole as new type of proton pump inhibitors increased rapidly. CONCLUSION:Proton pump inhibitors have great potential for development. Omeprazole are widely used in the clinic as mature proton pump inhibitors.

OBJECTIVE:To observe the clinical efficacy of puerarin combined with β-aescine sodium in the treatment of pa-tients with postoperative edema of hand trauma. METHODS:118 patients with postoperative edema of hand trauma were random-ly divided into observation group (n=59) and control group (n=59) by number. Both groups were taken infrared physiotherapy and appropriate physical treatment such as hand functional exercise;patients in control group was added β-aescine sodium 10 mg based on the physical treatment,iv,once a day;observation group was added puerarin 200 mg based on the treatment of control group,iv,once a day. Both groups were taken 10 days for one course of treatment. Compared the swelling scores,perimeter of suf-fered limb and edema scores,clinical efficacy and adverse reactions of patients between the two groups before and after treatment. RESULTS:The symptoms of hand limb swelling in 2 groups were obviously improved(P<0.01 or P<0.05),however,observa-tion group was better than that of control group,with significant difference(P<0.05);after treatment,the swelling,perimeter of suffered limb and swelling score in observation group were lower than control group,with significant differences(P<0.05);the to-tal effective rate in observation group was 94.91% and control group was 83.05%,with significant difference(P<0.05). No ADR was found in 2 groups. CONCLUSIONS:Puerarin combination with β-aescine sodium has obvious efficacy and safety in the treat-ment of postoperative edema of hand trauma.

Objective To study serum lipid levels in Uygur and Han nationalities in Urumqi of xinjiang, and their related risk actors. Methods Form 2004 to2007, 4 329 subjects were gathered from Urumqi Uygur and Han nationalities, all participants had a physical examination and serum lipid glucose test. Results The level of cholesterol and high density lipoprotein-cholesterol in Han nationality were significantly higher than Uygur. The levels of triglyceride, low density lipoprotein -cholesterol in Uygur were significantly higher than Han nationality. Hyperlipidemia in Uygur and Han nationality was affected by age (OR=1.377, 95%CI 1.144~ 1.659), body mass index (OR 1.56, 95%CI 1.386~1.756), and fasting glucose OR=1.386, 95%CI 1.15~1.67). Conclusion There were significant differences between Uygur and Han in the levels of serum lipids. Age, BMI and Fasting glucose also affected the serum lipid metabolism.

Objective To observe the connections between enkephalin immunoreactive(ENK-ir) terminals and ?-aminobutyric acid immunoreactive(GABA-ir) neurons in the rostral portion of the nucleus tractus solitarious(rNTS) of the rat. Methods Double-immunofluorescent labeling method and the pre-embedding immunohistochemical staining combined with immuno-gold particles labeling technique for electron microscopic detection were used in the present study. Results Under the laser scanning confocal microscope,dense ENK-ir fibers and terminals and some GABA-ir neurons were observed in the rNTS.Close contacts between ENK-ir terminals and GABA-ir cell bodies were also detected.By using the electron microscopic technique,ENK-ir reaction products were found to be mainly localized on the surface of round clear vesicles and dense-cored vesicles in the axon terminals.ENK-ir terminals formed symmetric,which was a dominant pattern,and asymmetric synaptic connections with GABA-ir and immunonegative cell bodies and dendrites.Conclusion The ENK-ir terminals might take part in the transmission and regulation of the taste information in the rNTS through inhibiting,exciting the GABAergic neurons or inhibiting directly the activity of neurons within the rNTS.
