Objective To analyze the human cellular repressor of E1A-stimulated genes (hCREG)using bioinformatics tools and predict the promoter position and transciption factor binding sites. Methods Complete coding hCREG sequences were obtained from Genbank.hCREG was analyzed with First EF software in order to obtain the promoter sequence of hCREG.Moreover, transcription factor binding sites of hCREG was convinced by Motif software.Subsequently, the transcription factor of hCREG by bioinformatics tools was related between hCREG and smooth muscle cells differentiation observed by both Western blot and immunoflourescence. Results The promoter of hCREG was located in -109~-359 bp of up-stream of transcriptional site, which was predicted with 945bp length.Transciption factor binding sites of hCREG was predicted by Motif software which was found with 80 transciption factors. The expression of hCREG and smooth muscle ?-actin(SM ?-actin)increased in HITASY after 72 hours with serum deprivation detected by both Western blot and immunoflourescence.Meanwhile, the results showed that the expression of wtp53 increased significantly. These results suggested that transcription factor wtp53 might regulate the expression of hCREG and promoted dedifferentiated phenotype of VSMCs.Conclusion The transcriptional information of the proximal promoter of hCREG obtained. As up-stream regulational factor of hCREG,wtp53 can up-regulate the expression of hCREG and may play a vital role in the process of VSMCs differentiation and phenotype modulation.

Journal of Biomedical Engineering 2013;30(4):849-853
In the present study, the effect of the electromagnetic field, induced by radio frequency (RF) coils and coupled with the pelvic tissues, was calculated with the method of finite difference time domain (FDTD). Using the established electromagnetic model of human pelvis region, the simulation was implemented. The imaging uniformity was quantitatively calculated and scaled with the values of the percentage image uniformity (PIU). The electromagnetic model was derived from the anatomical data of human pelvic region and loaded into the simulation. The results showed that the homogeneity of the magnetic fields was severely damaged due to the coupling between the RF coil and the human tissues when loaded with the human pelvis in the Birdcage RF coils at 3T. The research results set a basis meaningful for the design of RF coils.

This study was to investigate the permeability and absorbability of capsaicin cubosome across abdominal skin of the SD rats in vitro. Diffusion of capsaicin cubosome and cream was performed with the modified Franz diffusion cell technique. The capsaicin cubosome showed no enhancement of skin permeation within 24 hours. However, the deposition amounts of capsaicin in the rat skin in the cubosome group was markedly higher than those in the commercial cream group (P < 0.01). Cubosome showed excellent characetristic of skin-targed which could be a good carrier for the local transdermal drug delivery system.

International Eye Science 2014;(12):2122-2126
AlM:To study the relationship between JAK-STAT pathway and epithelial - mesenchymal transition in human lens epithelial cells. Meanwhile, the function of AG490 as a JAK inhibitor was also demonstrated in this article.
METHODS:Human lens epithelial cells SRA01/04 ( LECs ) were treated by low concentration of glucose (5. 5mmol/L). High concentration of glucose (30. 5mmol/L) was used to treat the cells in order to form the high glucose model. According to adding AG490 or not, cells were divided into the control group and the experimental group, appropriate concentration 10ü mol/L and 50ü mol/L of AG490 were chosen and acting time of 6, 12, 24, 48h were selected. Effect of AG490 on cell migration was measured by wound healing test. The expression of TGF-β1 , FN,α-SMA mRNA were examined by RT-PCR.
RESULTS:With the prolonged acting time ( 6, 12, 24 and 48h), cell activity increased in the HG group, as well as more expression of TGF-β1 , FN,α-SMA mRNA were detected compared to the LG group (P<0. 05). ln AG490 group, the cell migration activity and expression of TGF-β1 , FN,α-SMA mRNA decreased compared to the HG group (P<0. 05).
CONCLUSlON:JAK-STAT pathway takes part in high glucose-induced epithelial-mesenchymal transition in human lens epithelial cells. The mechanism is that it impacts the transcriptional expression of TGF- β1 and extracellular matrix. AG490, a JAK inhibitor, inhibits high glucose-induced epithelial-mesenchymal transition in human lens epithelial cells, And the inhibition enhances with the increasing concentration of AG490.

OBJECTIVE:
To analyze the false-negative proportion and reasons of positioning test in benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV).
METHOD:
Sixty-eight cases were reviewed and analyzed during February to April 2009. All patients had typical clinical history of BPPV and diagnosed by positioning test, and all were treated with PRM successfully. If positioning test at the first time were negative, examinations repeated after either head shaking or return visits.
RESULT:
Thirteen patients (19.12%) appeared false-negative in positoning test, and 11 cases showed typical nystagmus after head shaking, while 2 cases were diagnosed by return visitis the next day. There were no statistically difference between false-negative group and positive group in age (P > 0.05), gender (P > 0.05), course of disease (P > 0.05) and types of semi-circular canal (P > 0.05).
CONCLUSION
Re-examinations after head shaking or return visits are useful for the diagnosis in the suspected BPPV patients who have negative positioning test.

Objective To analyze the massive explosions and burn at Tianjin Port in 2015 resulted in a mass casualty event, and the entire course of response of a hospital to deal with such major sudden accident in order to find a rational strategy for optimal use of medical resources and reduce the critical mortality. Methods This study was done by a retrospective analysis of data from one trauma center at an academic hospital.Data including outcome, triage, severity and pattern of injuries, patient flow, and medical resources used were obtained by the review of hospital records. Results This disaster caused 165 deaths,8 missing contact, and 797 non-fatal casualties. The Pingjin Hospital admitted 298 casualties, and 29 of them were seriously injured referred to by Tianjin Emergency Medical Center.Excessive triage rate made after transfer to another hospital was 62.07% with 11 of the 29 severely injured patients.Maximum (also the first)surge had 147 injured patients arrived around one hour after incident, the second surge had 31 seriously injured patients occurred around 4 hours after incident.Of them,17 patients needed surgery and 17 patients were admitted to the intensive care unit. Conclusions These data showed that the number of casualties in the first surge was substantially larger than predicted and those casualties had less severe trauma, whereas the number of the injured in the second surge was less but the trauma was more severe. In order to maintain the hospital surge capacity,an effective re-triage and a hospital-wide damage control principle can be used to deal with.
