Aim To evaluate the effects of fibrinolytic enzyme FⅡ from agkistrodon acutus venom on an experimental model of kidney thrombus induced by lipopolysaccharide(LPS). Methods The model of microvascular thrombosis in the rabbits kidney was performed by the method of Hermida, which was induced by infusing LPS. Treatments were begun simultaneously with LPS infusion, through the contralateral marginal ear vein. Six different groups were established: NS 10 ml?h~-1 was infused as the negative control group, urokinase ~20 000 IU?kg~-1 ?h~-1 as positive control group, FⅡwas infused with the dosage of 0.1(Low-dose), 0.3 (medium-dose),0.6 (high-dose) mg?kg~-1 ?h~-1 . The further rabbits, which were given neither LPS nor FⅡ, were infused with saline solution through both marginal ear veins. Kinney sections were examined for the presence of fibrin microthrombi. The measurement of FDP concentrations was used to assess the degradation of microvascular thrombosis. Results Intense fibrin deposition was also detected and FDP concentrations were (78.21?4.79)% and (84.27?6.21)% at 2 and 6 hours after LPS administration in LPS-control group. Little fibrin deposition was detected and FDP concentration also increased in urokinase control group. A lot of fibrin deposition was detected in Low-dose FⅡ group,little fibrin deposition was detected in medium-dose FⅡ group, and no fibrin deposition was detected in high-dose FⅡ group. Through study on Bianque Shenying Zhenjiu Yulong Jing (Bianque's Classic of Effective Acupuncture Prescriptions), acupuncture experiences and ideology of WANG Guo-rui, an acupuncture physician of the Yuan Dynasty (1271-1368), is discussed in this article. Inherited and carried forward DOU's acupuncture theory, WANG Guo-rui encouraged to use experiential points and to expand extra points. Penetrating needling method was created, and the application of acupoints according to needling opportunities and seasonal factors were enriched by him. Great importance was also attached on treatment according to differentiation of syndromes, which including the simultaneous acupuncture and moxibustion, simultaneous reinforcing and reducing, reducing after reinforcing, reinforcing after reducing, predomination of reducing and predomination of reinforcing. The flexible treating methods are still extensively adopted in clinic nowadays. WANG Guo-rui is a master of clinical acupuncture who made great contribution to the development of acupuncture and moxibustion.

Objective To investigate the clinicopathologic characteristics of and HPV subtypes in vulvar condyloma acuminatum(CA)and subclinical HPV infection.Methods Eighty patients with a positive acetowhite test and suspected subclinical HPV infection were selected from 272 patients with typical CA lesions in perianal and external genital region.Tissue specimens were obtained from typical CA and suspected subclinical HPV-infected lesions followed by pathological examination and HPV-DNA detection.Finally,71 patients were confirmed to suffer from both CA and subclinical HPV infection.A comparative analysis was performed to assess the differences in histopathological manifestation and HPV genotypes between CA and subclinical infection lesions.Results Pathological examination revealed typical histological changes of CA in 71(88.75％)typical CA specimens and 4(5％)suspected subclinical infection specimens,as well as squamous dysplasia in 9(11.25％)CA specimens and 71(88.75％)suspected subclinical infection specimens.HPV-DNA was positive in all(80)of the CA specimens and 93.75％(75)of the suspected subclinical infection specimens,negative in 5(6.25％)suspected subclinical infection specimens.Obvious differences were observed in pathological manifestation,koilocyte number(P ＜ 0.05),but not in the distribution of HPV subtypes(P ＞ 0.05),between typical CA and concurrent subclinical HPV infection lesions in patients.Conclusion The diagnosis of subclinical HPV infection should be based on the result of acetowhite test,with the results of pathological examination and HPV DNA detection as an adjuvant.

Objective To estimate the 10-year risk of coronary heart disease in patients with psoriasis,and to determine whether the risk profile is affected by disease duration,family history and clinical types of psoriasis.Methods Data were pooled from 322 inpatients with psoriasis and 297 inpatients with other skin diseases (151 cases of acute urticaria,33 drug eruption,113 herpes zoster) from December 2008 to December 2010 in the Department of Dermatology,West China Hospital of Sichuan University.Risks of coronary heart disease were estimated by using the Framingham risk score algorithm.Wilcoxon rank test,Kruskal-Wallis test and chi-square tests were used to evaluate the differences in risks and risk factors between the patients with psoriasis and controls.Results As far as the Framingham 10-year risk score was concerned,the difference was statistically significant between the patients with psoriasis and the control population (6％ vs.4％,Z =4.342,P =0.000),as well as between patients with different clinical types of psoriasis (6％ for psoriasis vulgaris vs.4％ for pustular psoriasis vs.7％ for psoriasis arthropathica vs.7％ for erythroderma psoriaticum,H =8.484,P ＜ 0.05),but was insignificant between patients with familial and sporadic psoriasis (6％ vs.6％,Z =0.406,P ＞ 0.05 ).No correlation was observed between the Framingham 10-year risk and psoriasis duration (P ＞ 0.05 ).Conclusions Increased risks of coronary heart disease exist in patients with psoriasis compared with those with acute urticaria,drug eruption or hepers zoster,and in patients with psoriasis arthropathica or erythroderma psoriaticum compared with those with pustular psoriasis.The Framingham 10-year risk of coronary heart disease is uncorrelated with disease duration and unaffected by family history of psoriasis.

Objective To investigate the correlation between brain natriuretic peptide(BNP)and left ventricular diastolic function in the elderly patients with diabetes mellitus and hypertension.Methods 128 elderly patients with diabetes mellitus were divided into diabetes without hypertension (n=63)and with hypertension(n=65),and other 62 normal subjects were selected as control group.Plasma BNP levels and indexes of echocardiography,including left ventricular mass index(LVMI),the mitral peak flow velocity during early(E)and late diastole(A),ratio of E/A,average peak velocities at mitral annuluses of six sites in left ventricular wall during early(MEm)and late diastole (MAm),and relative E/MEm were measured in all patients.Results LVMI,E/MEm and the levels of BNP were significantly higher in groups of diabetes without and with hypertension[(91.6 ±17.3)g/m2 and(116.7±20.5)g/m2,(10.3±1.8)and(12.5±1.4),(47.7±29.4)ng/L and(105.7±32.5)ng/L]than in control group[(78.7±19.5)g/m2,(8.9± 1.6)and(20.8±11.63)ng/L,respectively](F=11.54,13.83 and 9.75,all P＜0.05),while MEm in two diabetes groups[(6.8±1.0)and(5.4±0.9)cm/s]were decreased as compared with control group[(8.0± 1.1)cm/s,F=11.26,P＜0.05].The BNP levels were negatively correlated with E/A and MEm(r =-0.42 and -0.51,all P＜0.01),and positively correlated with LVMI and E/MEm(r=0.48 and 0.58,all P＜0.01).Conclusions Left ventricular diastolic function is impaired in diabetes mellitus and more severely impaired in diabetic patients with hypertension.A combination of plasma BNP and echocardiography parameter may be helpful to accurately evaluate left ventricular diastolic function in the elderly patients with diabetes mellitus and hypertension.

Objective To study the different biomechanics surgical effects of posterolateral fusion , the transverse fusion and the interbody fusion. Method Scan CT was followed with preprocess of images. The Mimics , HyperMesh and Geomagic Studio Reverse engineering softwares were used to establish the modles of lumbar fusion , then the finite element computation was conducted by using the Abaqus finite element software. Result The EF of each lumbar modle was established , the EF of the interbody fusionwas rised evidently. After the fusion , the stress of the adjacent lumbar were also rised, among them the stress of the upper adjacent segment in tnterbody fusion was the most in extension and rotation , with statistical significance ( P < 0 . 05 ) . In the antexion the stress of the transverse fusion was the most, and the new type of posterolateral fusion least, three of them all hadstatistical significance (P<0.05). In the lateral flexion, they had no statistical significance (P>0.05). About the under adjacent sengment, in the extension and antexion, the stress of the interbody fusion was the most, and the new type of posterolateral fusion was the least, the three of them all haved statistical significance (P<0.05, respectively). In the rotation and lateral flexion, with no statistical significance (P>0.05). Conclusion After the fusion, the EF of the lumbar and the stress of the lumbar disc are all established, the interbody fusion is most, while the others are lower.

Objective To explore the correlation between caring behavior and critical thinking of nursing students in clinical practice. Methods Totally 203 nursing students in clinical practice were investigated with Critical Thinking Disposition Inventory- Chinese Version (CTDI- CV) and Caring Behavior Scale (CBS). Results The structural model obtained a good fit. Critical thinking and caring behavior were positively correlated with each other(β=0.46,P<0.01). Conclusions Nursing students′caring behavior could improve their critical thinking. With the cultivation of critical thinking of nursing students, nursing educators should pay attention to improving their caring behavior.

Objective:To investigate the differentially expressed miRNAs in serum collected post operation and compared these miR-NAs with those collected pre-surgery among patients suffering from glioblastoma multiform (GBM) and undergoing regular clinical fol-low-up. These miRNAs may be potential biomarkers for the post-operative evaluation of patients with GBM. Methods:Forty-eight pa-tients with GBM and clinical pathological diagnosis were enrolled in this study. In the initial biomarker screening stage, total RNAs were extracted and subjected to Solexa sequencing to select miRNAs with significantly altered expression pre-and post-operation. Some of these differentially expressed miRNAs were chosen and verified through TaqMan probe-based qRT-PCR assay. A t-test was performed to determine the miRNAs that satisfied the two criteria, namely, fold change>2 and P<0.05. All of the patients were fol-lowed-up, and survival data were collected. The patients were then classified into two groups, namely, long-and short-survival groups, on the basis of the median of the miR-30e expression levels in the sera collected post-operation. Kaplan-Meier method and Log-rank test (SPSS version 19.0, IBM) were employed to determine the possible relationships between miR-30e expression levels in the sera collected post-operation and patients' overall survival. Results: Solexa revealed 63 differentially expressed miRNAs. Four miRNAs, namely, miR-26b, miR-30e, miR-129-3p, and miR-206, were selected on the basis of previous and present findings. These miRNAs were then verified in the RT-qPCR phase. Among these miRNAs, only miR-30e was significantly upregulated post-operation. The serum miR-30e expression level post-operation was not significantly associated with the overall survival of the patients. A low miR-30e expression level corresponded to prolonged survival. Conclusion:miR-30e was upregulated in the sera collected post-operation from patients with GBM. This miRNA may be negatively related to the tumor load of these patients. The miR-30e expression level in the serum col-lected post-surgery serum was not significantly associated with overall survival. Therefore, miR-30e may serve as a novel potential non-invasive biomarker for the post-operative evaluation of patients with GBM.

Bone marrow microenvironment (BMM) is the environment on which leukemia cells depend. It contains stem cells, bone marrow stromal cells, and abundant cytokines, which can regulate the differentiation and proliferation of leukemia cells. The regulation of BMM on the differentiation of leukemia cells is a complex process that can act on different targets and signaling pathways. It mainly includes hypoxia-inducible factor, integrins, Notch, and Wnt/β-catenin signal pathways. The study of relationship between BMM and leukemia cell differentiation can help to find pathways and targets that induce leukemia differentiation which will find new directions for the treatment of leukemia.
