Journal of Practical Stomatology 2000;0(06):-
Objective: To evaluate the effectiveness of minocycline at subantimicrobial dosage in the treatment of experimentally induced periodontitis in rats. Methods: Periodontitis was induced by silk ligature technique on 4 second molars in each of 16 adult male Sprague-Dawley rats and the animals were fed with 100 g/L sucrose drink. The rats were divided into 2 groups: (1)periodontitis group without treatment;(2)treatment group, the rats with periodontitis were treated by systemic administration of minocycline at 5 mg/(kg?d).Another 8 normal rats were used as the controls. Assessment was carried out at day 28 and 56 using a number of different visual, histological and ultrastructure approaches.Visual assessment included tooth mobility(TM), gingival index(GI), and alveolar bone loss. Histological examination included monocyte effusion, resorption lacunae with osteoclasts and percentage of the periodontal collagen. The collected data were statistically analyzed using variance test. Results: Systemic administration of minocycline at subantimicrobial dosage can significantly reduce GI, TM, resorption lacunae with osteoclasts and alveolar bone loss either at day 28 or at day 56; significantly inhibited monocyte effusion and the collagen degradation in the periodontium at day 56 in rats with periodontitis. Conclusion: Minocycline at subantimicrobial dosage may decrease alveolar bone loss and osteoclasts formation in periodontium with periodontitis.

3.Impact of itemized subsidies on medical expenditure burden in public hospitals:Analysis of da-ta on 23 medical institutions
Chinese Journal of Health Policy 2014;(10):27-32
To a certain extent, itemized government subsidies to public hospitals, primarily used for hospital infra-structure and large equipment investments, can alleviate the financial pressure of development expenditures and thus re-duce the medical expenditure burden on patients. To test the hypothesis, the panel data method has been adopted based on the data of 23 tertiary hospitals. Empirical results find that:(1) increases in itemized subsidies will reduce the burden of medical expenses on patients;(2) conversely, the impact of itemized subsidies on outpatient medical expenses is more sig-nificant. By sharing a portion of public hospital expenses and impacting hospital service providing behavior, itemized sub-sidies help to reduce the burden of medical expenses on patients.
4.Effects of Physical Exercise on Depression of Female College Students——Multiple Mediation Effects of Three Dimensions in Social Support
Chinese Journal of Sports Medicine 2017;36(5):423-428
Objective To explore the relation among physical exercise, depression among female college students and social support, and the multiple mediation effect of three dimensions of social support between physical exercise and depression. Methods A total of 300 female college students were selected and investigated using the physical activity rating scale-3 (PARS-3),self-rating depression scale (SDS) and social support rating scale(SSRS).The multiple mediation effects of the subjective support, objective support and support utilization were tested using the hierarchical regression and the bias-corrected non parametric percent Bootstrap method. Results The overall effect of multiple mediation was significant, accounting for 56% of the total effect, while the direct effect of physical exercise on depression was not significant. As for the multiple mediation effects, the mediation effect of subjective support and support utilization was significant, while that of the objective support was not.Their mediation effect accounted for 47.3%,36.6% and 16.1% of the indirect effect respectively. Conclusion Social support has a mediation effect between physical exercise and depression among female college students, and the subjective support and support utilization are the main mediation factors.

Chinese Journal of Microbiology and Immunology 2010;30(6):541-545
Objective To explore the mechanism of lymphotactin(LTN) to exert mucosal adjuvant activity. Methods Complexes of chitosan-pVP1 and chitosan-pLTN were seperately prepared by co-cojugation method, then 50μg(DNA) of each complex was administered intranasally to male BALB/c mice 4times biweekly. Two weeks after the final immunization, mice were challenged with 3LD50 CVB3 to cause viral myocarditis, heart histopathological changes were examined 7 days later. Meanwhile, T cell immune responses, DC percentage and its membrane CD86 expression were monitored in spleen, mesenteric lymph node(MLN) and cervical lymph node(CLN). Results Co-immunizaiton with LTN remarkbly alleviated CVB3-induced cardial injury. This improvement was accompanied with enhanced T cell proliferation and IFN-γ-secreting ability, increased DC frequency and membrane CD86 expression both in spleen and mucosal draining lymph nodes( MLN, CLN). Conclusion LTN exerts its mucosal adjuvant function in augmenting specific T cell immune responses systemically and mucosally via DC enrichment in spleen, MLN and CLN and up-regulation of DC maturation.
