Objective To analyse the femoral head coverage rate of CT in evaluation of Salter osteotomy for developmental dislocation of hip(DDH) in children. Methods Thirty-eight patients with unilateral DDH for Salter osteotomy were enrolled,and X ray photography of pelvis and spiral CT scanning of femoral articulation were performed one week before and 6 months after Salter osteotomy.The femoral head coverage rate of X ray and that of CT were calculated and compared.Another 38 children with normal femoral articulation were served as controls. Objective To evaluate the effect of new teaching mode for nurses to meet the requirements of the gynecologic minimally invasive surgery and to reduce the working pressure and improve working efficiency and quality.Methods Eighty operating room nurses were divided into two groups according to the education level and working experiences ( ± 2 years ) and treated with traditional and new teaching modes.After one month,surgical cooperation was assessed and anxiety level of nurses and doctors to nurses satisfaction were evaluated.Results Nurses in the group of N-teaching mode ( new mode) had significantly higher scores in both theory test [ ( 93.4 ± 2.6) for new mode group and ( 87.7 ± 4.9 ) for traditional mode group; t =9.829,P ＜0.01) ] and practice test (94.3 ±2.7) for new mode group and (87.7 ±4.4) for traditional mode group(t =10.918,P ＜0.01).Anxiety level of the new mode group was significantly lower than that of the tradition mode group ( t =11.671,P ＜ 0.01; t =12.765,P ＜ 0.01).Doctors to nurses satisfaction of the two groups was statistically different (P ＜ 0.05).Conclusions The N-mode ( new mode) is better than the traditional teaching mode and it allows nurses to adapt the surgical cooperation sooner and gives more relaxing process of learning.

The aim of the present study was to study the effect of β-estradiol (β-E(2)) on the large-conductance Ca(2+)-activated potassium (BK(Ca)) channel in mesenteric artery smooth muscle cells (SMCs). The mesenteric arteries were obtained from post-menopause female patients with abdominal surgery, and the SMCs were isolated from the arteries using an enzymatic disassociation. According to the sources, the SMCs were divided into non-hypertension (NH) and essential hypertension (EH) groups. Single channel patch clamp technique was used to investigate the effect of β-E(2) and ICI 182780 (a specific blocker of estrogen receptor) on BK(Ca) in the SMCs. The results showed the opening of BK(Ca) in the SMCs was voltage and calcium dependent, and could be blocked by IbTX. β-E(2) (100 μmol/L) significantly increased open probability (Po) of BK(Ca) in both NH and EH groups. After β-E(2) treatment, NH group showed higher Po of BK(Ca) compared with EH group. ICI 182780 could inhibit the activating effect of β-E(2) on BK(Ca) in no matter NH or EH groups. These results suggest β-E(2) activates BK(Ca) in mesenteric artery SMCs from post-menopause women via estrogen receptor, but hypertension may decline the activating effect of β-E(2) on BK(Ca).

OBJECTIVES: To study the value of autotaxin (an autocrine motility factor) level in serum and bronchoalveolar lavage fluid (BALF) in predicting refractory Mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia (RMPP) in children and its correlation with interleukin-6 (IL-6), interleukin-8 (IL-8), and C-reactive protein (CRP). METHODS: A retrospective analysis was performed on 238 children with Mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia who were admitted from January 2019 to December 2021. According to disease severity, they were divided into two groups: RMPP (n=82) and general Mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia (GMPP; n=156). The two groups were compared in terms of the levels of autotaxin, IL-6, IL-8, and CRP in serum and BALF to study the value of autotaxin level in serum and BALF in predicting RMPP in children, as well as the correlation of autotaxin level with IL-6, IL-8, and CRP in children with RMPP. RESULTS: Compared with the GMPP group, the RMPP group had significantly higher levels of autotaxin, IL-6, IL-8, and CRP in serum and BALF (P<0.05). For the children with RMPP, the levels of autotaxin, IL-6, IL-8, and CRP in serum and BALF in the acute stage were significantly higher than those in the convalescent stage (P<0.05). The receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve showed that the level of autotaxin in serum and BALF had a good value in predicting RMPP in children, with an area under the curve of 0.874 (95%CI: 0.816-0.935) and 0.862 (95%CI: 0.802-0.924), respectively. The correlation analysis showed that the level of autotaxin in serum and BALF was positively correlated with IL-6, IL-8, and CRP levels (P<0.001). CONCLUSIONS The level of autotaxin in serum and BALF increases and is correlated with the degree of disease recovery and inflammatory cytokines in children with RMPP. Autotaxin can be used as a predictive indicator for RMPP in children.

To determine the optimum process conditions for dry granulating technique of Qibai Pingfei granule, granule excipient type, rolling wheel speed and pressure and feeding speed were studied. Taking shaping rate at a time, moisture absorption and dissolubility as index, the type and amount of granule excipient were determined. In addition, taking shaping rate at a time as index, parameters of rolling wheel speed and pressure and feeding speed were researched through single factor test and response surface methodology. The optimum parameters were as follows: lactose as excipient, dry extract powder to excipient at 1:2, rolling wheel speed and pressure at 10.9 Hz and 6.4 MPa and feeding speed at 7.2 Hz. After validation of three batches pilot-scale production, the optimum processing parameters for dry granulating technique of Qibai Pingfei granule is reasonable and feasible, which can provide reliable basis for production.

Objective To study the sources and the relationship between the management and the outcome of hemorrhage after cephalic pancreatoduodenectomy.Methods The clinical data of 370 patients who underwent pancreatic resection at the Lihuili Hospital and the Second Affiliated Hospital of Zhejiang University were retrospectively analyzed.Results Postoperative bleeding occurred in 35 patients with 11 deaths.Among those intraabominal bleeding occurred in 14 cases and gastrointestinal hemorrhage occurred in 22,with one case suffering from both.Bleediug developing within 72 hours after operation in 12 cases (early-stage group),which was caused by improper intraoperative homeostasis.In other 23 cases,bleeding 72 hours after operation(later stage group)was caused by the erosion following pancreatic and/or bile leakage.Relaparotomy was performed in 13 cases and endoscopic homeostasis was performed in 3. Relaparotomy or endoscopic homeostasis was superior to that of conservative therapy in the early-stage group (P0.05).Pancreatic or bile leakage was identified as the significant risk factors for the postoperative bleeding.Conclusions In order to prevent the postoperative hemorrhage and to reduce the mortality of pancreatic resection,skillful techniques,expeditious homeostasis,proper management of stump pancreas and the prevention of pancreatic and bile leakage are essential.

OBJECTIVE To investigate the effect of the combined administration of herbal pair Euphorbia Pekinensis (DJ) and Glycyrrhiza glabra (GC) at different doses or ratios on hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) ascites in mice.METHODS A total of 120 male Kunming mice were randomly divided into normal control, model, DJ-GC groups [ratios 1∶0.5, 1∶1, 1∶2, 1∶4], DJ-alone group and GC-alone group.HCC ascites model was constructed by inoculating H22 cells intraperitoneally.HCC ascites mice in the drug treatment groups were intragastrically administrated with corresponding doses of Euphorbia Pekinensis and Glycyrrhiza glabra for 12d, respectively.Then, the therapeutic effects of herbal pair DJ and GC acting on HCC acites was analyzed in terms of body weight, ascites volume, abdominal circumference and the index of liver and kidney.After that, the expressions of AQP2 and V2R were detected by Western Blot, and the level of ALT, AST, BUN, CR were detected by biochemical method.RESULTS When compared with model group, the DJ-alone group and DJ-GC 1∶2 group could efficiently reduced the ascites volume, abdominal, body weight (P<0.05~0.01) and the expression of aquaporin-2 and renal vasopressin receptors-2 in the kidney tissues (P<0.05~0.01).DJ-GC 1∶2 group could enhance the effect of DJ-alone group (P<0.05~0.01), while the DJ-GC 1∶4 group could reduce the effect of DJ-alone group (P<0.05~0.01).CONCLUSION The therapeutic effects of DJ on HCC were altered in accordance with its combination with GC at different ratios by being enhanced or weakened, which might be partially related to their regulation on aquaporin-2 and renal vasopressin receptors-2 signal axis.

Human parathyroid hormone peptide1-34(hPTH1-34) was highly expressed in Escherichia coli by inserting the synthesized hPTH1-34 cDNA into pThioHis, the prokaryotic expression vector. The expressed hPTH1-34 was purified by chelating sepharose immobilized metal ion affinity, reverse and filter chromatographic steps. Its purity was verified above 95% by HPLC. The quality was identified by N-terminal sequencing and MALDI-TOF-MS analysis. In vitro analysis showed the adenylate cyclase of ROS 17/2.8 cells was activated by hPTH1-34.

AIM To establish a ultra-high performance liquid chromatography coupled with triple quadruple mass spectrometry (UPLC-QQQ-MS) method for the simultaneous content determination of notoginsenoside R1,ginsenoside Re,ginsenoside Rg1,ginsenoside Rb1,ginsenoside Rd,taurine,taurocholic acid,cholic acid,glycocholic acid,glycodeoxycholicacid,chenodeoxycholic acid,deoxycholic acid and muscone in Pientzehuang (Bovis Calculus,Moschus,Notoginseng Radix et Rhizoma,etc.).METHODS The analysis of methanol extract of this drug was performed on a 40 ℃ thermostatic Waters CORTECS UPLC C18column (100 mm × 2.1 mm,1.6 μm),with the mobile phase comprising of acetonitrile-water (containing 0.1％ formic acid) flowing at 0.25 mL/min in a gradient elution manner.RESULTS Thirteen constituents showed good linear relationships within their own ranges (r ＞0.998 5),whose average recoveries were 91.1％-105.3％ with the RSDs of 2.4％-4.6％.CONCLUSION This accurate,simple,sensitive and reproducible method can be used for the quality control of Pientzehuang.

OBJECTIVETo explore the effect of acupoint massage dominant early comprehensive intervention on the prognosis of premature infants with brain injury.

METHODSTotally 210 premature infants with brain injury were assigned to the intervention group (112 cases) and the control group (98 cases). All patients received routine therapy (medicinal + routine care instructions). Patients in the intervention group additionally received acupoint massage. Those with abnormal early motion received physical sports treatment. Those with upper limbs dysfunction or with fine movement disorders received occupational therapy. Premature infants' development quotient (DQ) was performed at corrected age of 6 and 12 months by using neuropsychological development examination table for 0 - 6 years old children. The incidence of cerebral palsy was statistically calculated.

RESULTSAt corrected age of 6 months, DQ of gross motor, fine motor, language three functional areas was higher in the intervention group than in the control group with significant difference (P < 0.05). At corrected age of 12 months, DQ of gross motor, fine motor, language, social and adaptive capacities was higher in the intervention group than in the control groupwith significant difference (P < 0.05). The incidence of cerebral palsy was 4.46% (5/112) in the intervention group and 12.24% (12/98) in the control group (P < 0.05).

CONCLUSIONAcupoint massage dominant early comprehensive intervention could obviously improve the intelligence development level and lower the incidence of cerebral palsy in premature infants with brain injury.
