To establish a method for simultaneous determination of dehydrotumulosic acid, polyporenic acid C, 3-epi-dehydrotumulosic acid, dehydropachymic acid and pachymic acid in Poria, a RP-HPLC method detected by UV wavelengths switch had been developed, including 210 nm (48-55 min) for pachymic acid and 241 nm (0-48 min) for dehydrotumulosic acid, polyporenic acid C, 3-epi-dehydrotumulosic acid, dehydropachymic acid, separately. The system consisting of a Kromasil C18 column (250 mm x 4.6 mm, 5 microm) and a mixture of acetonitrile and 0.05% phosphate acid as the mobile phase was adopted; The flow rate was 1.0 mL x min(-1). The linear response range was 30.5-610.0 microg x mL(-1) (r = 0.999 6) for dehydrotumulosic acid, 12.66-253.2 microg x mL(-1) (r = 0.999 5) for polyporenic acid C, 2.99-59.7 microg x mL(-1) (r = 0.999 7) for 3-epi-dehydrotumulosic acid, 6.13-122.5 microg x mL(-1) (r = 0.999 5) for dehydropachymic acid and 11.3-226.0 microg x mL(-1) (r = 0.9995) for pachymic acid. The average recoveries of these compounds were 98.5% (RSD = 1.9%), 99.4% (RSD = 1.7%), 97.9% (RSD = 1.2%), 96.7% (RSD = 2.5%) and 97.9% (RSD = 2.3%), respectively. The method is simple, accurate and reproducible for quality control of Poria.

OBJECTIVETo investigate the feasibility, effectiveness and practicability of transurethral enucleation plus pneumocystostomy rotary cut (TUE + PCRC) for large benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH).
METHODSWe performed TUE + PCRC for 26 BPH patients aged 62 - 85 years with the prostate volume of 80 - 165 ml. We conducted transurethral enucleation of the hyperplastic prostate glands and pushed them into the bladder, followed by bladder puncture for pneumo-cystostomy rotary cut.
RESULTSAll the surgical procedures were successfully accomplished, with the mean surgical time of 41 (32 - 54) minutes and intraoperative blood loss < 60 ml in all the cases. Twenty-three of the patients were followed up for 2 - 8 months, which revealed no stricture of the urethra or any other severe complications. Compared with the preoperative baseline, significant improvement was achieved in the IPSS (6.5 +/- 2.2 vs 26.2 +/- 2.4), QOL (1.4 +/- 0.9 vs 4.6 +/- 1.2) and Qmax ([5.8 +/- 1.0 ] vs [19.6 +/- 2.8] ml/s) of the patients after surgery (P < 0.01).
CONCLUSIONTUE + PCRC, with its advantages of short operation time and less severe complications, is a safe and effective approach to the management of large BPH.

Objective To monitor the co-infection status of Borrelia burgdorferi sensu lato (R.b.s.1) and spotted fever group Rickettsia (SFGR) in tourist areas of Heilongjiang province. Methods Polymerase chain reaction (PCR) was used to detect the 5S-23S rRNA intergenic spacer of B.b.s.1 and ompA of SFGR in ticks, dynamically collected from tourist areas of Heilongjiang province in 2010.Amplification products from positive ticks were sequenced, and phylogenetic analysis was conducted by Mega 5.0 software package. Results 849 ticks were collected from two tourist points, with the dominant ticks in Tiger Mountain and Jingpo Lake were Ixodes persulcatus and Haemaphysalis concinna.Regarding the Ixodes persulcatus from Tiger Mountain, the infection rates of B.b.s.1 and SFGR were 26.15% and 10.05%.The infection rate of SFGR was 13.33% in Haemaphysalis concinna and the B.b.s.1 was tndiscovered in the same ticks from Jingpo Lake. However, the co-infection could only be detected in Ixodes persulcatus of both tourist areas.Surveillance data showed that the major ticks were more likely to be appeared in July at Tiger Mountain and in June at Jingpo Lake.Data from the sequence analysis on B.b.s.1 showed that the B.b.s.1 in tourist areas could be classified into three different genotypes, other than B.garinii and B.afzelii.We first detected B.valaisiana-like group genotype in northeast of China. Results from the sequence analysis of SFGR positive products showed that the two DNA sequences of newly detected agents were completely the same as Rickettsia sp.HL-93 which was detected in Hulin and Rickettsia sp.H820 found in northeast,China. Conclusion The co-infection of B.b.s.1 and SFGR was detected in ticks from the tourist areas of Heilongjiang province, and data from the sequencing of specific fragment showed that various kinds of genotypes existed in this area. However; the rates of co-infectionitis-different according to environment, time and population that contributed to the kinds of and the index of ticks existed in the surveys points, also the infection rate of the ticks was studied.

OBJECTIVETo evaluate endourethral surgery for urethratresia under the X-ray guide.
METHODSWe performed transurethral urethroplasty for 11 patients with urethratresia using the PlasmaKinetic electrodes under the guidance of C arm xanthippe.
RESULTSIn the 11 cases, operations were all successful, 9 achieved smooth urination and 2 needed regular urethral dilation.
CONCLUSIONX-ray guided internal urethroplasty with PlasmaKinetic electrodes is a simple and efficient treatment for urethratresia.

OBJECTIVE To explore the relationship between the clinical characteristics of acoustic neuroma and the number ofT lymphocytes in tumor tissues.METHODS Clinical data of 65 patients diagnosed with VS were retrospectively collected.Peripheral blood samples of the patients were collected and the number of T lymphocytes were counted by flow cytometry.Immunohistochemistry was carried out with the fresh tumor samples compared with 8 normal cranial nerve controls. The expression level of each immune protein was analyzed its correlation with clinical characters was explored.RESULTS The CD3+,CD4+ and CD8+ T lymphocytes in the peripheral blood are not significantly correlated with clinical data.In the tumor tissues, the number of CD4+ and CD8+ T lymphocytes are much larger than those in normal cranial nerves, and negatively correlated with preoperative hearing. The number of CD8+ T lymphocytes has a negative relationship with postoperative facial nerve function. In addition,CD4 and CD8 expression levels in the tumor samples from patients younger than 40 are much higher than those in elder patients.Foxp3 is not detected in the normal cranial nerves. The number of Foxp3+ T lymphocytes is negatively correlated with preoperative hearing.CONCLUSION The CD4+ and CD8+ T lymphocytes mediated cellular immunity play an important role in the development of acoustic neuroma,as well as the reservation and restoration of nerve function.
