Chinese Journal of Diabetes 2017;25(6):493-496
Objective To compare the clinical features of myocardial infarction (MI) in young adults with and without diabetes. Methods A total of 94 young adults with MI were enrolled in this study and divided into two groups according to whether they had diabetes:diabetic group (DM) and Non diabetic group (NDM).The clinical features, angiographic results, risk factors and prognosis were compared between the two groups. Results The incidence of atypical chest pain (25.0% vs 7.6%),non-ST segment elevation myocardial infarction (50.0% vs 9.1%),ventricular wall motion abnormalities (78.6% vs 42.4%),double vessels (35.7% vs 21.2%),triple vessels (39.3% vs 3.1%) and the incidence of mortality(10.7% vs 1.5%)were all significantly higher in DM group than in NDM group (P<0.05 or P<0.01).The number of affected vessels and Gensini scores were (2.110±0.875) and (52.61±10.47) in DM group,and(1.140±0.677),(34.02±10.24) in NDM group. The between group difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).Multiple linear regression showed that HbA1c and smoking were the independent risk factors for Gensini score. Conclusion The clinical features of young adult patients with MI and diabetes are more complex, their coronary stenosis are more serious, and the prognosis is poor.Smoking and HbA1c are positively associated with Gensini scores.
2.Rapid Identification and Determination of Gatifloxacin Injections by Raman Spectroscopy
China Pharmacist 2014;(10):1626-1628,1648
Objective:To develop a method for the rapid identification and determination of gatifloxacin injections by Raman spec-troscopy. Methods:Raman spectroscopy was used as the method of identifying and determining gatifloxacin injections. The determina-tion conditions were as follows:a micro Raman spectroscopy, excitation wavelength:785nm, objective lens:50X, laser power:3mW, signal acquisition time:60s. Results:The result showed that the Raman spectroscopy could identify and determine gatifloxacin injec-tions, the content of gatifloxacin in the injections was respectively 99. 49%,97. 56% and 100. 2%(Specification:10ml∶0. 2g), and 97. 75%, 94. 58% and 96. 25%(Specification:2ml∶0. 1g), and there was no significant difference between the above determination results and the results from the HPLC method by t-test. Conclusion:For the fast and nondestructive properties, the presented method can be developed as an analysis method for gatifloxacin injections.
3.Efficacy Observation of Ultrasonic Conductometric Acupoint Penetration of Wenhua Zhitong Recipe for Adenomyosis Patients.
Chinese Journal of Integrated Traditional and Western Medicine 2016;36(1):54-58
OBJECTIVETo observe the efficacy of ultrasonic conductometric acupoint penetration of Wenhua Zhitong Recipe (WZR) in treating adenomyosis.
METHODSTotally 40 adenomyosis patients with Shen-deficiency blood stasis syndrome were randomly assigned to the treatment group and the control group, 20 in each group. Patients in the treatment group received ultrasonic conductometric acupoint penetration of WZR from the 2nd day before menstruation to the end of menstruation, while those in the control group took WZR. All patients received 3 consecutive menstrual cycles. Endometrial contents of cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) and oxytocin receptor (OTR) were determined using SP immunohistochemical staining method before and after treatment. Clinical effect, efficacy of Chinese medical syndrome, changes of uterus volume, and contents of carbohydrate antigen 125 (CA125) were observed before and after treatment.
RESULTSThere was no statistical difference in the total clinical effect between the two groups (P = 0.357). Efficacies for relieving abdominal pain and lumbar soreness during menstruation were better in the treatment group than in the control group (P < 0.05). Uterus volume, endometrial levels and integrals of COX-2 and OTR decreased in the two groups after treatment (P < 0.05, P < 0.01).
CONCLUSIONUltrasonic conductometric acupoint penetration of WZR and oral administration of WZR both could effectively improve adenomyosis patients' symptoms such as Shen deficiency, and blood stasis, reduce the foci of uterus, and relieve the pain.

Objective To explore the effect of glucocorticoids on nuclear factor - ?B expression and Th2 cytokines and the relationship of these two factors. Methods Thirty BALB/c mice were divided randomly into normal control groups, asthmatic groups and budesonide inhalation group. The expression of NF - ?B was observed by immunocytochmical staining; IL - 4, IL - 5, IFN - ? proteins in HALF were measured by ELISA. Results The percentage of cells of active NF - ?B, IL - 4 and IL - 5 protein in BALF of asthmatic group was significantly higher than that of control group, which was significantly reduced by budesonide(P

Objective To study the expression and clinical significance of vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF)and soluble vascular cell adhesion molecule-1(sVCAM-1)in children with Henoch-Schonlein purpura(HSP).Methods The levels of plasma VEGF and sVCAM-1 were measured in 58 children with HSP and 23 normal children by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA),respectively. Results The plasma levels of VEGF and sVCAM-1 of HSP children at acute stage were significantely higher than those of HSP children at the remission stage and those of the controls(Pa

Objective To explore the relationship between serum placental growth factor (PLGF) and carotid atherosclerosis (CAS) in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM ). Methods Serum PLGF were determined by ELISA in 53 patients with T2DM ,who were divided into T2DM without carotid plague (T2DM group ,n= 27) and T2DM with carotid plague (T2DM + CAS group ,n= 26). Fasting plasma glucose (FPG) ,glycosylated hemoglobin A1c (HbA1c) and some other metabolic variables were also measured. The results were compared to those of 27 healthy controls (NC group). Results Serum PLGF levels were significantly higher in T2DM group and T2DM + CAS group than in NC group (P<0.01). T2DM+CAS group showed significantly higher serum levels of PLGF compared to that of T 2DM group(P<0.01).Correlation analysis showed that serum PLGF was positively correlated with TC ,LDL‐C , hsC‐RP and IL‐6 in T2DM patients (P<0.01). Similarly ,multiple regression analysis showed that LDL‐C and IL‐6 were the independent factors of serum PLGF level (P<0.05). Furthermore ,Serum PLGF was positively associated with carotid plague. Conclusion PLGF is positively related with chronic inflammation factors in T2DM patients. Serum PLGF may play an important role in the occurrence and development of carotid atherosclerosis and other macroangiopathy in T 2DM.
