1.CT findings of desmoplastic small round cell tumor occurred in abdomen and pelvis
Chinese Journal of Radiology 2001;0(07):-
Objective To investigate the CT features of desmoplastic small round cell tumor (DSRCT)occurred in abdomen and pelvis. Methods The CT images of 4 patients with pathologically proven DSRCT occurred in abdomen and pelvis were retrospectively analyzed. Results The CT features common to the 4 DSRCT in abdomen and pelvis were as follows:the lobulated soft-tissue masses were very large;the masses often involved omental and serosal surfaces of abdomen and pelvis organ and had close relationship to the surrounding organs;the originating site of the tumors were not apparent;intratumoral hemorrhage or necrosis were often present;and contrast-enhanced CT scan showed mild to medium heterogeneous enhancement. Conclusion The CT features of DSRCT in abdomen and pelvis are rather specific and can provide helpful information to the clinical diagnosis.

Objective To analyse the lung function parameters of the patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) to explore the clinical significance of lung function in the diagnosis and evaluation of COPD. Methods The lung function of 558 patients with COPD from January 2000 to April 2003 in our hospital was retrospectively analysed by using SPSS 10 0 software. Results The average ages of the 558 patients were 57 6?9 7 years, 78 9% of which were male. Patients with grades Ⅱ and Ⅲ COPD accounted for 70 2%. There was a negative relationship between FEV 1, FEV 1/FVC and smoking index(r=-0 039,-0 305,P

Modern Clinical Nursing 2016;15(5):11-14
Objective To explore the effects of dialectical nursing on recurrent oral ulcers in children. Methods One hundred and eighty-eight cases of children with recurrent oral ulcer hospitalized from March 2013 to June 2015 were randomized into study group and control group using random digit table with 94 cases in each group. The control group was intervened with the modern medical care pattern and the study group was with dialectical nursing care of Chinese medicine besides the modern medical care pattern. The two groups were compared in terms of the curative effect, time for ulcer healing, pains and level of the children′s and parents′satisfaction. Results The curative effect in the study group was significantly better than that of the control group (P<0.01). The time of the study group was shorter than that of the control one (P<0.001). The level of pains was lower but the degree of satisfaction was higher than that in the control group (all P<0.01). Conclusions The dialectical nursing care combined with modern medical care pattern is effective in treating recurrent oral ulcers in children. It can shorten the healing time and enhance the satisfaction. It can have high value of clinical application and promotion.

Journal of Practical Radiology 2000;16(12):715-717
Objective:To evaluate the effect of HRCT in diagnosis of the sacroiliac joint of ankylosing spondylitis(AS).Methods:HRCT scanning of sacroiliac joints were performed in 86 adult patients with AS.CT findings were reviewed.Rank test was used for statistical analysis of the grade of sacroiliac joint changes in two groups based on course of disease and the sex of patients. Results:The CT findings of the sacroiliac joint changes in AS included erosion, arthrosclerosis, change of joint space, arthrokleisis, gas and soft tissue in articular cavity.Pathologic changes were more obvious with the course of disease prolonged (P0.01).In the group during the same course, pathologic changes were more marked in female patients than those in male ones(P0.01).Conclusion:HRCT can show tiny structures of sacroitiac joint clearly. This is beneficial to recognize different patologic changes and make correct diagnosis.

Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 2004;0(08):-
The nutritional status in early life have been gradually recognized that it can change the status of development and metabolism of adults.Epidemiological evidence and animal model study have found that low birth weight is the risk factors of adult metabolic syndrome and cardiovascular disease.Insulin resistance is a common pathophysiological basis.Renin-angiotensin system and insulin signaling systems interact to promote the development of insulin resistance.

The aim of this study is to investigate the influence of different posts on the fracture mechanics of endodontically-treated teeth with open apex. Forty-eight human maxillary anterior teeth were collected, and the root was transversely sectioned 12 mm under the cementoenamal junction (CEJ). These samples were then randomly divided into two groups, i.e., minor diameter open apex root (group A) and major diameter open apex root (group B), with mineral trioxide aggregate (MTA) placed into the apical 4 mm in the root canals. Subsequently, both groups were respectively further divided into three subgroups as follows: fiber-post (subgroup 1), metal post (subgroup 2) and non-post (subgroup 3) group. Teeth were restored with a composite resin crown and tested by using a universal testing machine at the rate of 1 mm/min cross-head. Values of the maximum fracture resistance and failure patterns were recorded and compared among all subgroups. In addition, the changes of MTA properties were carefully examined via X-ray photography. Our results indicate that (1) In group A, the mean value of fracture resistance for teeth restored with fiber posts were statistically higher than that with either metal post or non-post; (2) In group B, there was no statistically significant difference in the mean value of fracture resistance among three subgroups; (3) No statistical significance in the mean value of fracture resistance was found between group A and group B; (4) The failure modes of most samples (58%) were irreparable; (5) MTA in two teeth developed cracks after loading tests. In conclusion, endodontically-treated teeth restored with fiber posts are more resistant to fracture than those restored with either metal posts or non-post, and most of the fracture modes are catastrophic in nature.

Objective To sum up CT findings of sacroiliac joints in ankylosing spondylitis with an attempt at further improving early and even accurate diagnosis of the disease. Methods CT features of sacroiliac joints in 80 cases with anklyosing spondylitis proved clinically were analysed, and their application in making the diagnosis was evaluated. Results 73 of the 80 cases had abnormal CT findings of the joints, with different features according to different stages of the disease. In early stage, most cases were with symmetric involvement of the joints showing shaggy appearance of the articular surface with interruption or disappearance of the joint cortex, subcortical microcysts and mild sclerosis of iliac surface of joint .In advanced stage, cases were with irregularity of sacroiliac articular surfaces, showing serrated or brush-like appearance, subcortical systic destruction, sclerosis or hypertrophic changes around the joints, and pseudo-widening,irregular narrowing or even vacuumization of the joint space. In the late or stable stage, ossification of ligaments, bony ankylosis of the joints with obliteration of joint space and osteoporosis or osteosclerosis were seen. Conclusion CT study of sacroiliac joints could be helpful in making an early and even accurate diagnosis of ankylosing spondylitis as well as in clinical staging of the disease.
