Objective To know the attitude about palliative care and its influence factors in nurses.Methods Interviewed 8 nurses deeply by qualitative research to know their attitude about pallia-tive care.Results 4 theme,including 9 subtheme were found: nurses' negative emotion caused by job; imperfect of special organization and criterion; characteristics of nursing work.Conclusions Hospital managers should enhance training of nurses' coping capacity with bad feelings, death education and culti-vation of empathy; improve medicare system;develop palliative care routine ; establish palliative care orga-nizations, and relieve nurses' job burden and increase wages.

To examine the relationship between genetic variants in the interleukin-6 receptor gene and obesity. The result showed that the carriers of Asp358 homozygotes had higher risk in developing obesity when compared with Ala358 homozygotes (OR = 1.32,95% CI 1.07-1.68, P = 0. 041). Interleukin-6 receptor gene pulymorphism was significantly associated with obesity.

OBJECTIVE:To establish a method for the content determination of sinalbin in Sinapis alba decoction piece. METHODS:HPLC was performed on the column of Sepax HP-C18 with mobile phase of 50% acetonitrile-water solution(contain-ing 5 mmol/L tetraoctyl ammonium bromide)at a flow rate of 1.0 ml/min,detection wavelength was 227 nm,column temperature was 30 ℃,and the injection volume was 10 μl. RESULTS:The linear range of sinalbin was 0.010 1-0.202 4 mg/ml(r=0.999 7);RSDs of precision,stability and reproducibility tests were lower than 2%,recovery was 98.51%-104.62%(RSD=1.90%,n=9). CONCLUSIONS:The method is simple,accurate and reliable,and can be used for determination of sinalbin in Sinapis alba decoc-tion piece.

Objective struclured clinical examination (OSCE) is a kind of examination which could objectively evaluate the students′clinical skills.Nowadays,OSCE are wildly applied in medical educational field throughout the world.Timely discussion and analysis on the problems existed in the implementation process of OSCE is necessary.Measures should be taken to improve the OSCE examination and to meet the requirements of higher clinical practice training level such as increasing clinical skill simulation training hardware investment,optimizing settings and conlents of the examination and the test stations as well as introducing standardized patients (SP) and other measures.

The genus Scilla consists of 90 species widely distributed in Europe, Asia and Africa, one and its variant of which can be found in China Some species of the genus have been used in traditional medicine to treat various diseases related to inflammation and pain. Phytochemical studies have demonstrated the presence of triterpene and tritepenoid saponins derived from eucosterol, bufadienolides, alkaloids, stilbenoids and lignan in the plants of this genus. Various bioactivities such as antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, anti-tumor and glycosidase inhibitory activities, have been reported. In this review, the advance of chemical constituents and pharmacological activities of the Scilla species are summarized for further development and utilization of the resource.

Mian-Zao-Er was collected from the bulbs of Scilla scilloides (Lindl. ) Druce, belonging to the Hyacinthaceae family. 17 compounds were obtained using various column chromatographies on macroporus resin (HPD100), silica gel, Sephadex LH-20 and ODS, as well as semi-preparative HPLC. Their structures were elucidated on the basis of physicochemical properties and spectral data as 2-hydroxy-7-methoxyscillascillin (1), scillascillin (2), 5,7-dihydroxy-3',4'-dimethoxyspiro 2H-1-benzopyran-7'-bicyclo[4.2.0 ] octa [1,3,5 ] -trien } -4-one (3), socialinone (4), 4-methylresveratrol (5), (E)-resveratrol (6), scillavoneA (7), 3,9-di- hydroeucomnalin (8), 3-(3-hydroxy-4-methoxybenzyl) -5,7-dihydroxychroman-4-one (9), (3R)-5,7,3'-trihydroxy-4'-methoxyspiro (2H-1-benzopyran-7'-bicyclo[4, 2, 0] octa [1, 3, 5]-trien} -4-one (10), scillabene A (11), 2-hydroxyscillascillin (12), 3-(4-hydroxybenzyl) -5,7-dihydroxychroman-4-one (13), 3-( 4-hydroxybenzylidene) -5, 7-dihydroxychroman-4-one (14), 3-( 4-hydroxybenzyl) -5-hydroxy-7,8-dimethoxychroman-4-one (15), 3-(4-hydroxybenzyl) -5-hydroxy-6, 7-dimethoxychroman-4-one (16), and 3-(4-hydroxybenzyl)-5,8-hydroxy-7-methoxychroman-4-one (17). Among them, compounds 3, 4, 6, 9, 13 and 15-17 were isolated from this plant for the first time.

Objective: To observe the effect of acupuncture and Chinese mina manipulation therapy in treating knee osteoarthritis, and analyze the alteration of musculus quadriceps femoris strength.Methods: A total of 80 patients were randomly assigned to a treatment group receiving acupuncture combined Chinese tuina manipulation therapy (n=40) and a control group receiving Fenbid treatment (n=40), curative effective score, Lequene & Mery assessment tests, and isokinetic evaluation were recorded before and after the treatment course. Results: The total effective rate was 90.0 % in the treatment group and 87.5% in the control group, without a significant difference between the two groups. Lequene & Mery assessment tests had no significant change. Musculus quadriceps femoris isokinetic evaluation improved significantly after the treatment course in the two groups (P＜0.05), and there was a significant difference between the two groups (P＜0.05). Conclusion: Acupuncture combined with tuina manipulation therapy and Fenbid treatment both can reduce knee pain and joint disability in the short term, though no improvement was shown in the severity of the disease.Acupuncture combined with mina manipulation therapy is better than Fenbid in improving the strength, total work and explosive force of the musculus quadriceps femoris.
