Objective To investigate the association of inducible nitric oxide synthetase (iNOS) expression with the expression of mutation type p53 (mt p53) in prostatic carcinoma (PCa). Methods The expression levels of iNOS and mt p53 were in 28 PCa specimens and 10 cases of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) were detected by immunohistochemical method. Results The expression levels of both iNOS and mt p53 in PCa were higher than those in BPH. The expression of iNOS was related to the expression of p53 protein. Conclusion iNOS and mt p53 may play a role in the pathogenesis of PCa.

Objective To compare the results between double-threaded compression screws and cannulated lag screws for Garden type Ⅰ/Ⅱ femoral neck fractures.Methods Data of 56 patients with Garden type Ⅰ/Ⅱ femoral neck fractures who were treated with internal fixation from July 2012 to March 2016 were retrospectively analyzed.According to different fixation,the patients were divided into two groups:double-threaded screws group (group A) including 27 cases (7 males and 20 females,with an average age of 55.5±10.0 years,14 cases Garden type Ⅰ and 13 cases Garden type Ⅱ,the proportion of osteoporosis 10/27;And lag screws group (group B) including 29 cases (8 males and 21 females,with an average age of 57.2±9.5 years,11 cases Garden type Ⅰ and 18 cases Garden type Ⅱ,the proportion of osteoporosis 15/29.The 2 groups were compared with respect to bony fusion time,nonunion,avascular necrosis of femoral head,shortening of femoral neck and Harris Hip Score.Results The average follow-up time was 20.3±8.7 m in Group A and 24.5±7.9 m in Group B.The average bony fusion time was 5.3±0.6 m in Group A and 4.1±0.8 m in Group B,and there was significant difference between the groups (t=5.758,P=0.00).1 avascular necrosis of femoral head was found in both groups.In group A,there were 3 cases of bone nonunion (11.1％,3/27).There were one bone nonunion (3.4％,1/29) case in group B,with no statistically significant difference between groups.Shortening of femoral neck occurred in both groups,the average horizontal shortening was 5.8±2.9 mm and vertical shortening 7.0±3.4 mm in Group A,which were lower than group B (8.2±3.1 mm,9.4±3.6 mm),and the differences showed statistically significant (t=-2.94,P=0.005;t=-2.48,P=0.016).In group A,the average Harris Hip score was 88.2±8.3,while that in group B was 89.9±7.2.There was no statistically significant difference between two groups.Conclusion It seems to us that in the treatment of Garden type Ⅰ/Ⅱ femoral neck fractures,doublethreaded compression screws fixation could reduce femoral neck shortening,but there is no difference on functional outcome compared to cannulated lag screws fixation.On the contrary,double-threaded compression screws fixation is not conducive to fracture healing due to lack of sliding compression.

Objective To investigate the effects of artesunate( Art) on renal function and the expression of monocyte chemotactic protein-1(MCP-1)and tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α)in rats with type 2 diabetic nephropathy(DN). Methods Thirty six male SD rats were randomly divided into six groups, six rats in each, as the normal control, model control, low-dose Art, middle-dose Art, high-dose Art groups which were intragastrically administrated with Art at the dose of 10, 20 and 30 mg·kg-1 ·d-1 for consecutive 8 weeks, enalapril group, which were intragastrically administrated with enalapril 10 mg·kg-1 ·d-1 for consecutive 8 weeks. Rats were injected with low dosage streptozotocin and fed with high fat and high sugar diets to establish type 2 diabetic nephropathy rat model. After 8 weeks’ treatment, the plasma glucose, 24-hour urine protein, serum creatinine and blood urea nitrogen were measured to evaluate renal function. The pathological morphology of rats was performed. Immunohistochemistry and enzyme linked immunosorbent assay ( ELISA ) were performed to examine the expression levels of MCP-1 and TNF-α,respectively. Results Compared with the model control group, 24-hour urine protein, serum creatinine, blood urea nitrogen and blood glucose were significantly decreased in the treatment groups (P<0. 01). Art significantly decreased the serum expressions of MCP-1 and TNF-α in low-, middle-, high-dose Art group ( 157. 47 ± 38. 53, 138.65±18.03,105.09±12. 64 and 3. 14±0. 38,2. 58±0. 11,2. 25±0. 16) pg·mL-1, compared with model control group (181.71±23.06 and 3. 98±0. 24) pg·mL-1(P<0. 05). Conclusion Art has beneficial effects on type 2 diabetic nephropathy. The mechanism of which may be related to the inhibition of inflammatory factor MCP-1 and TNF-α,further relive the pathological injury of kidney and delay the progress of diabetic nephropathy to some extent.

Objective To investigate the clinical application of 3.0 T mobile iMRI and neuronavigation in the microsurgical operation for the high grade gliomas in brain functional area.Methods The clinical data of 47 cases which were operated from April,2012 to August,2014 assisted by intraoperative magnetic resonance and neruonavigation system were analyzed retrospectively,including 19 cases of near the frontal motor areas,21 cases of closed to the dominant hemisphere language areas,and 7 cases of involved multiple lobes of the brain.The operative plans were made before the operative day using 3.0 T iMRI for T1-MPRAGE plain and enhancement magnetic resonance imaging sequence,diffusion tensor imaging (DTI) sequence and blood oxygenation level dependent functional MRI (BOLD-fMRI) sequence scanning.Before the start of operation,the margin of the tumor was marked on the scalp,and removed the tumor under the microscopy,according to the need 1-4 iMRI plain scan and enhanced scan were applied to reconstruct the real-time imaging of the residual tumors and corticospinal tract,and gained once more chances to remove the tumor repeatedly,until the tumor was removed totally,accurately and safely.Results The total resection rate increased from 63.8％ (30/47) to 95.7％ (45/47) by repeated resection,and 2 cases (4.3％ lesions) with subtotal resection.The dysfunction of motion and the language barrier got worse in 4 patients (8.5％).No cases with sever complication such as death and severe disability after operation.There were no intracranial hemorrhage,infection and other adverse events.Patients were followed up with nervous system symptoms and head MRI,the follow-up period was 3 months-2 years.Twenty-eight cases (59.6％) ob-tained good clinical efficacy;the dysfunction of motion and the language barrier got worse in 4 cases (8.5％);the symptoms and tumors recurrenced in 15 cases (31.9％).Conclusion The 3.0 T mobile iMRI system combined with functional neuronavigation can accurately display the relationships among the motor and language cortex,tumors and white matter fiber bundles real-timely.The extent of the tumor resection can be assessed accurately by real-time images provided by iMRI,and the residual tumor have chames to be resected repeatedly,until the tumors were resected totally before operation finished.The iMRI system can correct intraoperative brain shift timely.The total resection rate can be improved safely and accurately by one or more times resection.

Objective To investigate the role of the QQ group follow up of nursing education on patients with nasopharyngeal carcinoma after radiotherapy in patients after they discharged. Methods Thirty patients with nasopharyngeal carcinoma hospitalized from January to December 2013 in our department were set as control group and another 30 patients with NPC hospitalized from January to December 2014 in our department were assined to in the experiment group. Patients of two group received health education before discharge . The controls were followed up on phone and the experimental group received QQ group follow up of education for one year, besides phone follow-up. The two groups were compared in terms of incidence of adverse reactions one year after discharge. Results One year after discharge , the incidences of side effects in the experiment group were lowered than those in the control group , and the differences were siguificant difference ( all P < 0 . 05 ) . Conclusion The QQ group follow up of nursing education can reduce the incidence of adverse reactions by radiotherapy after discharge.

Objective To investigate the necessity to test the hearing of patients whose initial symptom is tinnitus with pure tone audiometer. Methods To analyze the results of pure tone audiometer of 218 tinnitus patients.Results Among 218 cases of tinnitus patients,a total of 123 patients with abnormal hearing,among 95 cases of patients with normal hearing, except for 50 cases of tinnitus, no other cause of disease. Conclusion Among the normal hearing tinnitus patients, we should do further hearing test for them if they are not identified a clear cause of disease,such as auditory brainstem response,otoacoustic emission and other necessary checks to clear the reasons for tinnitus or the position of the unusual auditory system. It is important for early diagnosis and treatment of tinnitus. But the pure-tone audiometer should be a routine examination when tinnitus patients come for the first visit.

Objective To investigate effect of artesunate on expressions of Toll-like receotor-4 (TLR4) and interleu?kin-8 (IL-8) in renal tissue of diabetic nephropathy rats. Methods Male SD rats of over 200 g in body weight (n=45) were injected with low dosage streptozotocin and fed with high fat and sucrose diets to establish diabetes nephropathy (DN) model. Among all rats of successful model, thirty-two were randomly selected and divided into four groups (n=8 in each group), Mod?el group (Group B), Artesunate at high dose treatment group [30 mg/(kg · d)] (Group C), Artesunate at low dose treatment group [10 mg/(kg·d)] (Group D), Enalapril treatment group [10 mg/(kg·d)] (Group E). Another eight rats without STZ injec?tion whose body weight is under 200 g were assigned as Normal group (Group A). Then, rats in Group A and B were given the same volume of normal saline [10 mg/(kg·d)] while rats in Group C, D and E were given 30 mg/(kg·d) Artesunate, 10 mg/(kg·d) Artesunate and 10 mg/(kg · d) Enalapril respectively intragastrically for consecutive 12 weeks. Fasting blood glucose, body weight, kidney index, 24-hours proteinuria, serum creatinine (Cr) and blood urea nitrogen (BUN) were measured. Expression level of TLR4 in renal tissue of rats were examined by Western blot;ELISA was used to quantify the concentration of IL-8 in serum and renal tissue of rats. Results Compared with rats in Group A, the levels of Fasting blood glucose, kidney index , 24-hours proteinuria, Cr and BUN as well as the level of TLR4 in kidney, levels of IL-8 in serum and kidney all significant?ly increased in rats in Group B, C, D and E(P<0.05). On the other hand, body weight were decreased in rats of Group B, C, D and E compared to rats in Group A(P<0.05). The level of TLR4 in kidney, levels of IL-8 in serum and kidney, 24-hours proteinuria, Cr and BUN in rats of Group C, D and E were significantly lower than those in rats of Group B(P<0.05). Furthermore, compared with rats in Group D, the levels of TLR4 in kidney, IL-8 in serum and kidney, 24-hours proteinuria, Cr and BUN were decreased in rats in Group C and E(P<0.05). Pearson correlation analysis showed that the expression lev?el of TLR4 positively correlated with IL-8 level in serum (r=0.969, P<0.05), IL-8 level in kidney (r=0.972, P<0.05), 24-hours proteinuria(r=0.965, P<0.05), Cr(r=0.944, P<0.05)and BUN(r=0.903, P<0.05). IL-8 level in kidney positively correlated with 24-hours proteinuria(r=0.962, P<0.05), Cr(r=0.929, P<0.05)and BUN(r=0.940, P<0.05). Conclu?sion Artesunate decreases expression of TLR4 and IL-8, reduce 24-hours proteinuria, inhibits the inflammation of the DN,relives the pathological lesions of nephron rats with diabetic nephropathy.

To study the characteristics of pharmacological effects of property combinations of traditional Chinese medicines (TCMs) distributing in the stomach meridian based on medicinal property combination, in order to further define the association relationship between properties of TCMs and their pharmacological effects, and build a bridge for the interpenetration and combination between the medicinal property theory of TCMs and their pharmacological effects. On the basis of the studies on the medicinal property theory of TCMs distributing along the kidney meridian and their pharmacological effects, efforts were made to collect relevant data for medicinal properties and pharmacological effects and mine the characteristics of pharmacological effects that were corresponding to relevant medicinal property combination by processing materials related to medicinal properties and pharmacological effects with the association rules method. According to the analysis, TCMs distributing along the kidney meridian with different medicinal property combinations were significantly differentiated in the pharmacological effects, but shared identical pharmacological effects, such as immunological enhancement. In this study, TCMs distributing along the kidney meridian with different medicinal property combinations were taken as the carriers to closely integrate the traditional Chinese medicine theory with the modem study achievements, lay a solid foundation for further developing and enriching the traditional Chinese medical property theory, while providing a new perspective on the development of modem medicine.

Objective The study was designed to investigate the serum levels of HE4 in patients with lung cancer,and explore its prognostic value.Methods Blood samples of 106 healthy adults and 191 patients with lung cancer before treatment were measured by means of ELISA for HE4 levels in different stages and pathological types,for analyzing prognostic effect of HE4.Results The serum levels of HE4 in patients with lung cancer (median level 91.63 pmol/L) were significantly higher than control group (median level 56.42 pmol/L) (U =3 081.00,P ＜ 0.05).AUC of serum HE4 was 0.85,with a cut-off value of 82.70 pmol/L (specificity =95.31％,sensitivity =62.32％).HE4 expression was not statistically related to clinical stage and pathological types of lung cancer.The median overall survival (mOS) was 36.87 months in the HE4-low group and 30.43 months in the HE4-high group (P ＜0.05),respectively.HE4 level was an independent prognostic factor for overall survival (HR =2.15,95％ CI 1.49-3.12,P ＜ 0.05).Conclusions The prognosis of patients with high HE4 expression is poor.Therefore,it might be necessary for patients with high level of HE4 to receive more aggressive adjuvant therapy.
