By analyzing these influence factors, the article try to explore traditional Chinese culture quality assurance factors of doctoral students, that is, to control the quality of students, to clear training objectives, to strengthen the responsibility of instructors, to supervise the quality and training of scientific research and innovation ability of students and so on.
2.Recent progress in molecular genetics and therapy for X-linked juvenile retinoschisis
Chinese Journal of Experimental Ophthalmology 2012;30(1):94-96
Juvenile retinoschisis (RS or XLRS,MIM#312700)is a rare X-linked inherited disorder, mainly affects bilateral retina, and is characterized by cartwheel-like changes of the macular region of the retina and schisis or splitting within the inner retinal layers, leading to visual deterioration. The electroretinogram is beneficial in the diagnosis of juvenile retinoschisis. The a-wave can be of normal or nearly normal amplitude in this disorder, whereas the amplitude of the b-wave is appreciably reduced, giving a decrease in the proportion of b/a.The responsible gene,XLRSl,maps to Xp22 and was identified by positional cloning. This paper makes a brief review about the latest XLRS research of pathogenesis, animal experiments, clinical therapy, and 25 references are cited.

4.The study on doctor's innovative ability and its influencing factors in tertiary hospitals
Chinese Journal of Medical Science Research Management 2010;23(6):361-364,378
This paper studies the effect of personnality, motivation, environment, and professional skills on doctor's innovative ability, aimed to provide reference for personnel recruitment and assessment in tertiary hospitals and for improvement of doctors innovative ability. This research was based on a questionnaire that was conducted in 599 doctors from three tertiary hospitals in Guangzhou. The results indicate that four factors affect doctors' innovative ability with different degrees. Relevant measures are suggested

Objective To explore the change of cytoskeleton and the variance of Ca2+ in cultured cells during the invasion of Toxoplasma gondii. Methods Tachyzoites suspensions were gathered by routine method and used to infect phagocytic cells(J774A.1)and non-phagocytic cells (HUVEC). The ability of T. gondii invading into the cells and the influence of cytoskeleton inhibitor, colchicine and cytochalasin D,were observed by microscopy. The rearrangement of cytoskeleton of cells was observed by fluoromicroscopy. By using laser scanning confocal microscope, the variance of Ca2+ in J774A.1 and HUVEC was detected. Results Ca2+ increased greatly in J774A.1 during the invasion of T.gondii(P0.05). The microfilaments of J774A.1 were agglomerated during the invasion of T. gondii. Cytoskeleton inhibitor, cytochalasin D(P0.05)during the invasion and cytoskeleton was not changed. Cytochalasin D and colchicine showed little effect on the infection rate of HUVEC. Conclusion The concentration of Ca2+ increases greatly and cytoskeleton(mainly the microfilament)has been rearranged in phagocytic cell during the invasion of T. gondii, while both of them show no significant change in non-phagocytic cell.

Objective To investigate the factors affecting the protective effects of morphine preconditioning on murine hippocampal neurons against anoxia/reoxygenation (A/R) injury and the underlying mechanisms. Methods Hippocampal slices (400 μm thick) were prepared using hippocampi isolated from decapitated mice. A/R injury was simulated in vitro using artificial cerebral spinal fluid (ACSF) deprived of O_2 and glucose for 20 min followed by reoxygenation and glucose supply for 2 h. The experiment was performed in 4 parts: I .The slices were incubated with 5 different concentrations of morphine (0.1, 0.3, 0.5, 1.0, 3.0, 10.0 /μmol/L) for 30 min at 30 min before A/R; Ⅱ. The slices were incubated with morphine 3.0 /μmol/L for 5 different periods of time (5, 15, 30, 45, 60 min) at 30 min before A/R; Ⅲ. The slices were incubated with morphine 3.0 μmol/L for 30 min followed by A/R at 6 different intervals (0, 5, 15,30,60, 120 min); Ⅳ. The slices were incubated with (a) chelerythrine (a non-selective PKC antagonist) 10 /μmol/L or (b) εVl-2 (a selective nPKCe isoform antagonist) 2 μmol/L or (c) AIP 2 μmol/L (a selective CaMK Ⅱ antagonist) or (d) MK-801 10 μmol/L (a non-competitive NMDA receptor blocker) for 30 min and then for another 30 min together with morphine 3.0 μmol/L before A/R at 30 min interval. The survival rates of the hippocampal neurons were assessed by TTC staining. Results Neuronal survival rates were significantly higher in morphine preconditioning groups which preconditioned with morphine (0.5-10.0 μmol/L) for 15-60 min at an interval of 0-60 min before A/R than in A/R group. Increase in neuronal survival rate induced by morphine preconditioning was partially blocked by chelerythrine or εV1-2 or AIP or MK-801. Conclusion Preconditioning with appropriate concentrations of morphine (0.5-10.0 μmol/L) for appropriate period of time (15-60 min) at appropriate interval (within 60 min) before A/R can protect hippocampal neurons against A/R injury through activation of nPKCε, NMDA receptor and CaMKⅡ.

Objective To investigate the changes of interleukin-1β (IL-1β) in rat brain after subarachnoid hemorhage (SAH) and its relation to cerebral edema and vasospasm. Methods Subarachnoid hemorrhage rat model was produced by anterior cerebral artery perforation method. The brain water content was measured by dry-wet weight method.Hematoxylin-eosin (HE) staining was used to assess vasospasm in the basilar artery, and the expression of IL-1β after SAH was examined by Western blot. Results After SAH,the cerebral edema gradually occured from 1 d,reached the peak at 7d.The level of IL-1β protein started to increase in 1 d,reached its peak in 7d,and remained at a relative high level in 14d.There's correlation between the level of IL-1β protein and changes of cerebral edema. Conclusion After SAH,The level of IL-1β gradually rised and fits remarkably well with the time course of cerebral edema, which may indicate that IL-1β leads to the development of cerebral edema after SAH.

Objective To investigate the immunologic enhancement of Porphyra polysaccharide. Methods Porphyra polysaccharide in different dosages (0.025,0.050,0.150g?kg~(-1)) were injected intraperitoneally into the immunosuppressive mice induced by cyclophosphamide for 7d. On day 8,the cytotoxic activity of NK cells, the levels of interferon-?(IFN-?)and nitric oxide (NO)in the cultured supernatants of spleen cells were determided. Results The cytotoxic activity of NK cell, the levels of IFN-? and NO produced by cultured spleen cells from the group of mice treated with 0.150g?kg~(-1) of Porphyra polysaccharide were higher than those from model group. Conclusion Porphyra polysaccharide could enhance immunological functions to a certain degree in immunosuppressive mice.
