1.Consideration and experiment on medical cell biology teaching affaires
Chinese Journal of Medical Education Research 2006;0(09):-
In order to improve the quality of teaching, stimulate students’ interest in studying medical cell biology,we performed a lot of innovation on cell biology teaching program according to the requirement of basal course and the characteristic of freshman. First, choose the contents of the study seriously. Second, introduce bilingual teaching gradually. Third, bring up the spirit of activity in their studies progressively. Last, take full advantage of tutorship to help students build up the studying confidence, master studying method and enhance self-study capability. The result shows that these methods help students conquer their fear of difficulties and achieved an expected teaching effect.

Objective To understand the cognition of ICU syndrome by ICU nurses in Guangdong province. Methods Through questionnaire filling in, this investigation was made on the first hatch of ICU nurses dispatched to Hung Kong for ICU specialized training by Guangdong province. Information collected included the nurses' personal information and their knowledge about ICU syndrome. Results The sub-jects' knowledge about ICU syndrome was scanty, and was not related to their years of work, professional ti-tles, academic degrees or administrative duties. The overwhelming majority of the subjects had not paid at-tention to the disease in clinical work. Most departments had not formulated guidelines whatsoever on nurs-ing for ICU syndrome. In assessing the ICU syndrome, the vast majority of nurses relied on their clinical experience, with none of them relying on the confusion assessment method for the intensive care unit (CAM-ICU). Only very few of the subjects acquired some knowledge about the syndrome during their study at colleges. Conclusions The ICU nurses in Guangdong province should attach importance to ICU syn-drome and strengthen the study of related knowledge in their work and study. And it is essential to popular-ize CAM- ICU and to build a standard assessment system and work out the intervention measures for ICU syndrome.

Two groups were all given Bricanyl aerolised inhalation in same way at meanwhile. Results The improvement of peak expinatory flow in two groups was evident. The disappearing time of main symptoms and signs, the duration of staying in hospital of two groups were no difference (all P

Objective To investigate the effects of repetitive transcranial magnetic acupoint stimulation on hemiplegic patients.Methods60 hemiplegic patients were assigned to treatment group and control group(30 cases for each group). Both groups received rehabilitation therapy. Meanwhile, the treatment group received repetitive transcranial magnetic acupoint stimulation. Fugl-Meyer Assessment (FMA), The Mini-Mental State Examination (MMSE), Barthel Index(BI) were used to measure the outcome.ResultsThe scores of FMA and BI increased significantly in both groups after treatment. However, these scores in treatment group improved more compared with those of control group(P<0.05).ConclusionRepetitive transcranial magnetic acupoint stimulation is helpful to improve the motor function, and ability of daily living of hemiplegic patients.

Chinese Journal of Rehabilitation Theory and Practice 2012;18(12):1119-1122
Alzheimer's disease (AD) is a neurodegenerative disorder characterized by memory loss and cognitive decline. The pathological eatures of Alzheimer's disease are abnormal deposition of amyloid beta-peptides (Aβ), neurofibrillary tangles, cholinergic deficits, and loss of synaptic processes and dendritic spines. Senescence accelerated mouse prone 8 exhibits age-related deficits of learning and memory from an early age, tau protein phosphorylation, neurotransmitter changes, synaptic structure and function disorders, circadian rhythm disorders,as well as gene expression and many other characteristic changes, which are consistent with Alzheimer's disease pathological changes, and can be used as an ideal animal model for Alzheimer's disease prevention drugs development.

International Journal of Biomedical Engineering 2016;39(4):239-243
Liver cirrhosis is a common chronic progressive liver disease, and at present the most effective treatment for advanced liver cirrhosis is liver transplantation. However, main reasons of limiting the wide application of liver cirrhosis are liver source deficiency, expensive cost, graft rejection reaction, the complications caused by long-term application of immunosuppressant and so on.Stem cell transplantation has become a new method for the treatment of liver diseases due to its beneficial to the damaged liver tissue repair, and it can compensate part of liver function. The basis and clinical research progress, the existing problems and prospects of the bone mesenchymal stem cell transplantation for the treatment of liver cirrhosis are summarized, aiming to provide theoretical basis for the further research.

Chinese Ophthalmic Research 2010;28(3):207-209
Background It is well known that tissue factor (TF) is expressed in tumor cells and neovascular endothelial cells of tumor. It plays an important role in the formation of new blood vessels as well as the growth and metastasis of tumor. However, whether TF is expressed or not in choroidal melanoma(CM)is unclear. Objective This study is to investigate the expression of TF in a choroidal melanoma cell line and human choroidal melanoma. Methods The expression of TF was studied in the optimal choroidal melanoma-1 (OCM-1) cell line and ten specimens from CM patients using immunhistochemistry.Ten normal eye specimens from donators were used as controls. Results The TF protein was mainly expressed in the cytoplasm. It is over-expressed in OCM-1 cells with positive rate of 85.33±5.47%.Hyper-expression of TF also was found in human choroidal melanoma with a positive rate of 41.60±14.17%.The integrated optical density (IOD) of positive cells in CM was 33853.67±16445.30,and only 5.65±4.26% of positive cells was found in normal human choroidal tissue. The IOD of TF expression in normal human choroidal tissue was 426.43±316.62.Conclusion The overexpression of TF in CM cells may be a new immunotherapy target for CM treatment.

Objective To understand the characteristics of population distribution, risk factors and risk links of occupational exposure among health care workers(HCWs)in a hospital. Methods Occupational exposure among HCWs between January 2011 and June 2014 were monitored, data about occupational categories of HCWs,expo-sure locations, exposure links and exposure modes were analyzed statistically. Results Among 286 occupational ex-posure cases, the female and male HCWs accounted for 22.03% (n=63)and 77.97% (n=223)respectively;the incidence of occupational exposure in 2011 ,2012,2013 and January-June of 2014 was 38.81 %(n=111),26.22% (n=75),23.43% (n=67)and 11 .54% (n=33)respectively;occupational exposure of junior nurses,doctors,nurs-ing attendants, technicians, senior nurses and cleaners was 31 .97%,19.90%,15.79%,7.64%,4.17%,and 2.84% respectively;exposure mainly occurred at the time of sorting waste, withdrawing or changing needles,dis-carding sharps into sharps containers, surgical suturing or instruments passing, and puncturing (including drawing blood),the constituent ratio was 22.38%,19.58%,14.34%,12.94% and 11 .19%,respectively;the main loca-tions where exposure occurred were wards, operating rooms and injection (treatment)rooms, the constituent ratio was 51 .40%,19.58% and 11 .54% respectively. Conclusion Hospital should establish comprehensive occupational exposure monitoring and risk management system, strengthen standard prevention, enhance the training about occu-pational exposure among high-risk population, and monitor and intervene on risk factors and links,so as to reduce the incidence of HCWs’occupational exposure.

Objective To study the effects of simvastatin on proliferation and apoptosis in rat mesangial cells in vitro, and to investigate the signal pathways involved in apoptosis induced by simvastatin. Methods Cultured mesangial cells were treated with simvastatin. Proliferation of mesangial cells was examined by MTT assay. Simvastatin-treated apoptotic mesangial cells were observed by electron microscopy. Propidium iodide (PI) staining and flow cytometry were employed for quantitative measurement of apoptosis. Caspase-3 activation was determined by CaspGLOW Green Caspase-3 Staining Kit. Results (1)Simvastatin significantly inhibited proliferation of mesangial cells compared with control (P
