Through the questionnaire survey of 2,000 patients with dysmenorrhea, the clinical characteristics of dysmenorrhea were investigated, and the reference basis for preventing and controlling dysmenorrhea was provided. The results found that the age of menarche, short menstrual cycle, by volume, long period of time has no obvious relationship with the occurrence of dysmenorrhea. Dysmenorrhea main influence factors to feel cold; syndrome (symptoms) characteristics for the actual situation inclusions mainly, with severity, deficiency symptoms more obvious; in different degrees of dysmenorrhea, frequency of belly chills symptoms appear most, and cold coagulation and blood stasis syndrome (symptoms) appear higher frequency; The type of cold coagulation and blood stasis dysmenorrhea was 53.2%. Dysmenorrhea measures to select bed rest most, accounting for 79.6%. For severe dysmenorrhea in patients with drug choice to traditional Chinese combined with western medicine accounted for 43.4%. Selection of Chinese medicine formulations in patients with dysmenorrhea Decoction formulation accounted for the most 26.5%. The survey results, to avoid cold and have a positive effect on the prevention of dysmenorrhea, dysmenorrhea treatment should pay attention to warming channels to dispel cold.

4 cm in diameter(Z=1.966,P=0.048).A positive relation was seen between HSP70 expression and CD8~+ T cell number at the border zone of RFA sphere(r=0.489,P=0.046).The HSP70 expression and the CD8~+ T cell number at the border zone of RFA sphere were higher in recurrence-free patients than in recurrent patients,respectively(Z=2.009,P=0.045;Z=2.007,P=0.045).Conclusions Following the RFA,the HSP70 expression and the CD8~+ T cell number at the border zone of RFA sphere will be elevated,indicating that RFA induces an immune response against tumor antigens and a tumor-specific T cell reaction.

The present paper studies the neuronal pathways connecting the optic tectum(?)the nucleus profundus mesencephali(NPM)and the nucleus isthmi,and the morph-ology of their originating cells in Gekko gekko and Shinisaurus crocodilurus byusing horseradish peroxidase(HRP)tracing method.The results indicate that 1.There exist reciprocal topographic projections between the tectum and the nucleus.isthmi pars magnocellularis(Imc);2.The ipsilateral tecto-Imc projection originatesfrom cells mainly located in layer 7,which have piriform somata with radical den- drites;the ipsilateral Imc-tectal projection originates from piriform or polygonalneurons with a small dendritic field;3.Cells labeled in NPM following tectal injections are fusiform in shape,paler in color,whereas NPM cells labeled followingisthmic injections are numerous,whose thick dendrites often go up to the tectum(?)4.NPM injections label both tectal and isthmic cells.The former are mainly loca-ted within layer 7,while the latter are in Imc and Ipc.

OBJECTIVE To investigate the distribution of Pseudomonas aeruginosa and its antibiotic resistance in(emergency) intensive care unit(EICU) patients with lower respiratory infections.METHODS The data of the pathogens isolated in sputum from the 25 patients with lower respiratory infections admitted to EICU from(Aug) 2005 to Feb 2006 were collected and analyzed.RESULTS Eighty-one bacteria strains were found in these 25 EICU cases.The Gram-negative bacteria were the main pathogens of infection(43.2%),after them were Gram-positive bacteria(32.1%),and fungi(24.7%).The percentage of P.aeruginosa infection was 13.6% of all(patients).The antibiotic resistance for P.aeruginosa was found to the antibiotics,such as cefotaxime,gentamicin,(SMZ-TMP),minocycline,levofloxacin,and gatifloxacin.CONCLUSIONS The P.aeruginosa infection and its(antibiotic) resistance should be paid more attention in the treatment of the lower respiratory infection patients in EICU.

Objective To explore the diagnostic value of conventional ultrasound(US) and contrast enhanced ultrasound(CEUS) in predicting extrathyroidal extension of papillary thyroid cancer(PTC).Methods Eighty-five PTCs in 75 patients were selected for thyroid surgery underwent ultrasound and contrast-enhanced ultrasound.The degrees of contact between PTCs and capsule were observed by US and CEUS respectively(0,0-25％,25％-50％,≥50％),and the diagnostic efficiency in different degree of contact (＞0 ％,≥25 ％,≥50％) as preoperative diagnostic criteria were analyzed.The diagnostic efficiency between US and CEUS in predicting extrathyroidal extension of PTC were compared.Results Of the 85 PTCs,extrathyroidal extension was presented in 57 (67.06％) based on pathologic results.When the degree of contact (＞ 0 ％,＜ 25 ％,25 ％-50 ％,≥ 50 ％) was gradually increased,the incidence of extrathyroidal extension of the thyroid cancer was also gradually risen (P ＜0.001).Comparing the sensitivity,accuracy,odds ratio,and Az value of three groups(＞0％,≥25％,≥50％),it showed that the general diagnostic efficiency between two groups(＞0％,≥25％) was similar by US and CEUS.However,the sensitivity and accuracy of ＞0％ contact with the adjacent capsule were markedly higher than those of the other two groups(P ＜0.001).Selecting ＞0％ contact with the adjacent capsule as preoperative criteria,the Az value of CEUS was markedly higher than that of US (Z =2.208,P =0.027).Conclusions The preoperative imaging feature of more than 0％ contact with the adjacent capsule is more sensitive and accurate degree in predicting extrathyroidal extension of PTC.Compared with US,CEUS may serve as a better useful tool to predict extrathyroidal extension of PTC.

BACKGROUND:Adipose-derived mesenchymal stem cels have rich sources that are easily obtained, which can be used to treat acute myocardial infarction. OBJECTIVE: To investigate the therapeutic effect of adipose-derived mesenchymal stem cel transplantation on acute myocardial infarction in rats. METHODS:Rat models of acute myocardial infarction were made and subjected to adipose-derived mesenchymal stem cel transplantation in comparison with model and control (sham operation) groups. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:Echocardiography findings showed significant improvement in the left ventricular end-systolic diameter, left ventricular end-diastolic diameter and ejection fraction in the cel transplantation group compared with the model group (P < 0.05). Hematoxylin-eosin staining showed that myocardial infarction was evident in the model group, in which, there were rarely viable myocardial tissues and few vessels in the infarcted region, but in the cel transplantation group, there were evident survived myocardial tissues and transplanted cels. The percentage of infarct size was significantly lower in the cel transplantation group than the model group (P < 0.05). Immunohistochemical staining showed that adipose-derived mesenchymal stem cels were able to survive in the infarcted myocardial tissues, and the expression of cardiac troponin T in the cel transplantation group was significantly higher than that in the model group (P < 0.05). Experimental data show that adipose-derived mesenchymal stem cel transplantation can protect the myocardial tissues after myocardial infarction, and effectively improve the myocardial function.

Objective To analyze the changes of celluar and humoral immunity in children with juvenile idiopathic arthritis(JIA),as well as the changes in different subtypes,and to investigate the role of cellular and humoral immunity in the pathogenesis of JIA.Methods Ninety-two JIA subjects and 82 controls(healthy children) were included into this study.The levels of T lymphocyte subsets,natural killer (NK)cells,and B cells were analyzed by using flow cytometry.The serum interleukin-1 (IL-1),tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α),interleukin-l0 (IL-10),transforming growth factor-β(TGF-β) levels were detected by using enzyme-linked imnmunosorbent assay (ELISA).The serum IgG,IgM,IgA and C3,C4 levels were detected by using velocity scatter turbidimetry.Independent t-test,One-Way ANOVA test and Pearson analysis were adopted for data analysis.Results 1.In the group of JIA,the levels of CD3,CD4,IL-1,TNF-α,IgG,IgM,IgA and C3 were higher than those in the control group(all P ＜ 0.05),while the levels of CD4CD25,CD8,NK cells,IL-10 and TGF-β were lower than those in the control group(all P ＜0.05),and the ratio of CD4/CD8 was higher than that in the control group (P ＜ 0.05).2.In the group of systemic-onset JIA (so-JIA),the levels of CD4,IL-1,TGF-β,IgG,IgM,IgA,C3 and the ratio of CD4/CD8 were higher than those in the oligoarthritis JIA group(all P ＜ 0.05),while the levels of CD4CD25,CD8,IL-10 were lower than those in the oligoarthritis JIA group(all P ＜ 0.05).In the group of polyarthritis JIA,the levels of IL-1,TNF-α,IgG,IgM and IgA were higher than those in the oligoarthritis JIA group(all P ＜0.05),while the levels of CD4CD25,CD8,IL-10 were lower than those in the oligoarthritis JIA group (all P ＜ 0.05) ; In the group of so-JIA,the levels of CD4,TGF-β,C3 and C4 were higher than those in the polyarthritis JIA group (all P ＜ 0.05).3.The value of IL-1,TNF-α were positively correlated with that of C-reactive protein (CRP),erythrocyte sedimentation rate(ESR) in the JIA group(all P ＜ 0.05),while the value of IL-10,TGF-β was negatively correlated with that of CRP,ESR(all P ＜ 0.05).Conclusions There are cellular immunity and humoral immunity disorders in the JIA.Cellular immunity and humoral immunity are all involved in the pathogenesis of JIA.T helper cells are activated and Th1 cytokines increase,suppressive T cells,regulatory T cells impairment and suppressive cytokines decrease but immunoglobin increase,which involve in auto inflammation reaction and articular destruction in JIA.The immunity disturbances are more striking in so-JIA and polyarthritis JIA.IL-1,TNF-α,IL-10 and TGF-β are correlated with the disease activity.

Objective To compare the contrast-enhanced ultrasonography (CEUS) manifestations of pNENs with the pathological changes and to explore the clinical value of CEUS in diagnosis of pNENs. Methods The CEUS of sixteen pathologically diagnosed pNENsfrom April,2012 to February,2014 were retrospectively observed.The CEUS of thirty pathologically diagnosed pancreatic carcinomas during the same period were taken as the control group.The enhancement extent and enhancement patterns of CEUS in pancreatic tumors were analyzed. The specimens of pNENs were stained with HE and CD34 immunochemistry.The grading of interstitial content and Ki-67 index were obtained on HE-stained slices and microvascular density(MVD) were obtained on CD34 immunochemistry stained slices.Spearman rank test analysis was employed to analyze the correlation.Results Among the 16 cases of pNENs,12 cases (75.0%) demonstrated hyper-or iso-enhancement,which included 6 cases (37.5%) showing homogeneous enhancement and 6 cases (37.5%) showing inhomogeneousen hancement,and the other 4 cases demonstrated hypo-enhancement. Among 30 cases of pancreatic carcinomas,25 cases (83.3%) demonstrated hypo-enhancement and 5 cases (16.7%) hyper- or iso-enhancement,and 21 cases (70.0%) demonstrated homogenous enhancement,and 9 cases(30.0%)inhomogeneous enhancement.Taking hyper-or iso-enhancement on CEUS as the diagnostic criteria,its diagnostic sensitivity,specificity,positive predictive value,negative predictive value,and accuracy were 75.0%,83.3%,70.6%,86.2%,80.4%respectively.Negative and positive correlation of the enhancement extent of pNENs with the interstitial content(r =-0.880,P < 0.001) and MVD (r =0.658,P =0.003) were observed,respectively.Six tumors with inhomogeneous enhancement contained cystic degradation or necrosis under microscope. Conclusions CEUS is an effective and non-invasive diagnostic approach for pNENs and can reflect the pathological changes.Hyper-or iso-enhancement of CEUS is typical appearance of pNENs.

This study taking gestodene (GEST) as a model, investigated the factors affecting reservoir-type intravaginal ring (IVR)'s drug release. This paper reported a gestodene intravaginal ring of reservoir design, comprising a gestodene silicone elastomer core encased in a non-medicated silicone sheath, separately manufactured by reaction injection moulding at 80 degrees C and heating vulcanization at 130 degrees C is reported. The test investigated the factors affecting drug release through a single variable method, taking the drug release rates of 21 days as standards. When changing the thickness of the controlling sheath outside, the ratio of the first day of drug release and mean daily release (MDR), named the relatively burst effect, is closing to 1 with the thickness of controlling sheath increasing, while the 1.25 mm sheath corresponding to 1.04 controlled the burst release effectively; a positive correlation (r = 0.992 2) existed between the average drug release (Q/t) and drug loading (A) within a certain range. The C6-165 controlling sheath with high solubility of GEST is easier to achieve controlled release of the drug; GEST crystalline power is more effective to implement controlled release of drugs among difficent states of the drug. A 1/4 fractional segment core gives a relatively burst effect of 1.76, while the 1/1 and 1/2 are 1.93 and 1.87 separately, at the same drug loading, concluding that use of a fractional segment core would allow development of a suitable GEST reservoir IVR. In summary, GEST reservoir-type IVR could be adjusted by the thickness of controlling sheath, the loading of drug, the material properties of controlling sheath, the dispersion state of drug, the additive composition and structure of intravaginal ring, to control the drug release behavior and achieve the desired drug release rate.

Objective To investigate the value of combinedevaluation of serum lipoprotein associated phospholipase A2 (LP-PLA2) and cystatin C (CysC) on systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) patients with lupus erythematosus.Methods A total of 177 patients with SLE were enrolled in the General Hospital of People's Liberation Army from June 2000 to February 2017,87 cases in lupus group (SLE group),90 cases in lupus nephritis group (LN group),60 cases in healthy control group.The concentration of LP-PLA2 and CysC were measured.The ROC curves was established for estimation of the cutoff values of two indexes in SLE patients with LN,and the diagnostic efficacy of different diagnostic criteria was compared.Results The LP-PLA2 and CysC concentration in the LN group were higher than those in the SLE group (Z=-2.512,-5.688,all P＜0.05).The cutoff value of LP-PLA2 was 245.5 U/L and the cutoff value of CysC was 1.235 mg/L on the risk assessment of in SLE patients with LN.When using the parallel method for combined LP-PLA2 and CysC to evaluate the risk of LN,the sensitivity and negative predictive value would be significantly improved (x2 =9.461,4.377,all P＜ 0.05),the efficiency was better.Conclusion Parallel assessment of serum LP-PLA2 and CysC have clinical value on assessment of the risk of LN in SLE patients.
