Angiogenesis after cerebral ischemia iS increasingly receiving attention.The expression of angiogenesis growth factor increases after cerebral ischemia.It promotes endothelial proliferation and neovascularization,and thus improves blood supply in ischemic regions and decreases the volume of infarction.The combination of exogenous angiogenesis growth factor.stem cell transplantation and therapeutic angiogenesis to promote angiogenesis was mainly achieved by promoting the expression of angiogenesis growth factor."Ihe further study of the mechanism of angiogenesis after ischernia will provide theoretical basis for the treatment of ischemic stroke.

Exosomes are small (30 -100 nm) membrane vesicles secreted by various cell types , they mediate cell-to-cell communication by transferring mRNAs , miRNAs, and proteins.As a hotspot in the research of oncology , exosomes have potential values in the research of development , diagnosis and treatment of cancer. This paper briefly reviews the relationship between breast cancer microenvironment , drug resistance and exosomes and its progress in breast cancer diagnosis and treatment , in order to propose new diagnostic and therapeutic strategies .

4.Application of TDI-FP for Analysis of A647G Variation in HPV 16 E7 Gene From Cervical Cancer Patients

Template direct dye-terminator incorporation with fluorescence-polarization (TDI-FP assay) is a technology for genotyping single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs). To apply this method in analyses of A647G variation in human papillomavirus (HPV) 16 E7 gene from HPV 16-positive cervical tissues, a total of 91 and 49 HPV 16-positive DNA samples obtained from women with cervical cancer and normal/inflamed cervices living in Shaanxi in northwest China were subjected to the partial E7 gene PCR with nucleotide (nt) 647 in the products. Then, the oligonucleotide probe designed to anneal immediately to nt 647 was hybridized to the template within the PCR amplicons, and extended specifically by TAMRA-ddTTP or R110-ddCTP directed by the base at nt 647. The increasing FP values were read and the base at nt 647 was identified. The prevalence of nt 647 A→G was 35.71% (50/140). The variation 647G detected in 42.86% (39/91) of women with cervical cancer was significantly higher than 22.45% (11/49) detected in those with normal/inflamed cervices (x2 = 5.778, P = 0.016). The odds ratio (OR) between these two groups was 2.59 (95% confidence interval=l.17~5.71). The results demonstrate that TDI-FP method can be potentially applied in analysis of interest point mutations in HPVs. The incidence and risk implication of HPV 16 A647G variant infection in Shaanxi, China, displays significant geographic difference from other areas. The HPV 16 with E7 gene A647G point mutation appears to have a higher risk for invasive cervical cancer in women living in Shaanxi.
5.Risk factors of Ever metastasis from colorectul cancer

Objective To explore the risk factors of liver metastasis from colorectal cancer. Methods The clinic data of 1341 patients with colorectal cancer who had been admitted to our department from January 1989 to December 2004 were analyzed retrospectively. Results The incidence of the liver metastasis from colorectal cancer was 11.56% (155/1341). Univariate analysis showed that sex, location and size of the primary tumor site, regional lymph node metastasis, infiltration depth of the bowel wall, involvement of the adjacent viscera, complications and peritoneal implantation were relevant to liver metastasis (X2=6.517, 10.208, 11.173, 42.160, 80.731,6.593, 3.887, 14.352, P < 0.05). Logistic regression analysis showed that sex, regional lymph node metastasis, infiltration depth of the bowel wall, complications and primary tumor site were correlated with liver metastasis ( b = 0.655, -0.488, 1.355, -0.752, 0.273, P <0.05). Conclusions Male patients, patients with regional lymph node metastasis or with involvement of tissues out of the serosa have higher chance of liver metastasis from coloreetal cancer. Patients with colon cancer are apt to develop liver metastasis than those with rectal cancer. The incidence of liver metastasis in colorectal cancer patients complicated with other diseases is low.
6.Endoscopic endonasal approach resection for anterior skull base, pterygopalatine fossa and infratemporal fossa tumors: retrospective analysis of 73 patients.

OBJECTIVE:
To summarize the clinical experience with endoscopic transnasal resection of nasal skull- base neoplasms, which involved anterior skull base, pterygopalatine fossa, nfratemporal fossa.
METHOD:
Clinical data from 73 patients performed on endoscopic transnasal resection of nasal skull-base neoplasms were analyzed retrospectively.
RESULT:
Total tumor removal was obtained in 54 cases, subtotal removal in 19 cases. In 16 cases of benign tumor, the postoperative survival rate was 100%; Malignancy in 57 cases, of which 16 patients were died, and half-year survival rate was 71.9%.
CONCLUSION
Endoscopic endonasal approach be able to fully reveal and re- moval of lesions involving the anterior skull base, pterygopalatine fossa and infratemporal fossa. The approach is feasible and safe.

7.Single-fiber conduction study of motor nerve in patients with diabetic peripheral neuropathy

Objective To assess the function of motor nerve fiber in patients with diabetic peripheral neuropathy (DPN) by single-fiber conduction studies.Methods According to the diagnostic standard of DPN issued in Toronto meeting in 2009,on the basis of the result of peroneal nerve conventional conduction study,a total of 65 patients with DPN in the Department of Endocrinology and the Department of Neurology of Tianjin Third Central Hospital from October 2012 to October 2013 were enrolled into the study,from whom 33 had abnormal sensory conduction (sensory-diabetic peripheral neuropathy group,S-DPN group),32 had abnormal sensory motor conduction (sensory motor-diabetic peripheral neuropathy group,SM-DPN group).Single-fiber conduction velocity (SF-CV) and single-fiber distal motor latency (SF-DML)were detected in all subjects.The obtained results were compared with the data from 34 healthy volunteers (control group).The relationship of SF-CV,SF-DML and the duration of diabetes mellitus,fasting glucose,HbA1 c was also studied in DPN patients.Results The SF-CV ((43.1 ± 3.6) m/s) was decreased in S-DPN group compared with control group ((47.5 ± 3.3) m/s,t =5.077,P < 0.01).There were no significant differences in SF-DML ((3.6 ± 0.7) ms),motor nerve conduction velocity (MCV (49.5 ± 2.6)m/s) and DML ((3.4 ± 0.6) ms) in S-DPN group compared with that of control group ((3.4 ± 0.5) ms,(50.9 ± 3.5) m/s,(3.2 ± 0.5) ms,respectively).SM-DPN group had lower SF-CV ((35.2 ± 3.6)m/s,t =9.119,14.219),MCV ((40.9 ± 3.2) m/s,t =11.131,13.025) and increased SF-DML ((4.5±0.7) ms,t=5.692,7.231),DML ((4.2 ±0.7) ms,t=5.561,6.975) compared with the other two groups (P <0.01).SF-CV in DPN patients was negatively related to the diabetic duration (r =-0.340,P =0.006),while SF-DML had no correlation with duration of DM,fasting blood glucose and HbAlc.Conclusions Detection of SF-CV is easy to find early motor nerve dysfunction in DPN patients.SF-CV is decreased with the increasing duration of diabetes.
8.Relationship between the overexpression of DNA methyltransferase 3B4 and clear cell renal cell carcinoma

Objective:To determine the molecular role of DNA methyltransferase (DNMT) in kidney tumorigenesis. Methods:Tissue samples consisted of 15 cancer tissues and 15 matched adjacent tissues from clear cell renal cell carcinoma (ccRCC) patients who had undergone nephrectomy in 2012 at the First Affiliated Hospital of Baotou Medical College, Science and Technology University of Inner Mongolia were collected. Real-time PCR, Western blot, combined bisulfite restriction analysis (COBRA) and methylation specific PCR were used in this study. Real-time PCR was used to examine the mRNA expression levels of DNMT. The global methylation level, DNA methylation level, and the expression of the antioncogene RASSF1A in ccRCC tissues were concurrently detected. Results:Both mRNA and protein levels of DNMT3B4, a splice variant of DNMT3B, were elevated in renal cell carcinoma tissue compared with those in con-troll tissue. Additionally, Alu was hypomethylated in ccRCC tissue (0.106±0.04) compared with control tissue (0.115±0.03) (P<0.05). Fur-thermore, the methylation of the promoter for RASSF1A, a tumor-suppressor gene, moderately increased in renal cell carcinoma tis-sue. By contrast, RASF1A expression decreased. Conclusion:DNMT3B4 overexpression may play an important role in human kidney tu-morigenesis via chromosomal instability and the decreased expression of RASSF1A.
9.Study on preventing nephrotoxic injury of amikacin

Objective To search for the methods preventing nephrotoxic injury of amikacin,Methods Case-control research was used in this study. There were 50 normal children in control group The urine routine, the ?2-microglobulin (?2 -M), mosmol and THP in urine and blood, the AIb, rGT and NAG in urine, the renal function and serum concentration of amikacin were determined respectively.The 43 patients with serious illness childten in study group, were divided into 2 groups (Group 1 and group 2 ). Group 1 (23 cases) was treated only with amikacin for 7 days, and group 2 (20 cases) was treated with vitaminC, vitamin E and amikacin for 7 days. Before treatment, the 3rd and 7th day during the treatment, all the items mentioncd above were examined in gtoup 1 and 2.Results The incidences of nephrotoxic injury of amikacin are 87 per cent (20/23)and 55 per cent (11/20) respectively in group 1 and 2. Objective To study the relationship between activity and virulence of secretory acid proteinase and extracellular phosphlipase of different Candida albicans isolated from various specimens.Methods 190 strains of Candida albicans were isolated from various specimens(sputum,blood,thrush,wound,secretion of vaginitis) of patients with Candida albicans infection in hospital.Milk-plate medium and egg-yolk medium were used respectively to test the activities of secretory acid proteinase and extracellular phosphlipase of Candida albicans.The suspension of two forms of Candida albicans(5?106CFU?mL-1) were injected to vein of tail in mice respectively in virulence test.The mortality and mean survival time of mice were observed in 1 month.The virulence was appreciated with the mean survival time of mice.Results All of 190 strains,the positive detectable rates of secretory acid proteinase and extracellular phosphlipase were 83.68% and 85.26%,respectively.Animal experimental results showed the activities of secretory acid proteinase and extracellular phospolipase in hyphal forms were significantly higher than that in spore form(P
