2.A case report of poorly differentiated thyroid carcinoma with contralateral papillary carcinoma.

A 22-year-old female patient complained of neck discomfort for one week. Examination revealed bilateral neck masses. Color doppler ultrasound showed bilateral thyroid masses,which resulted in two thyroid lobes asymmetry. Bilateral cervical enlarged lymph nodes were not found. Thyroid function was normal. Complete left lobe and subtotal right lobe of thyroid gland were resected. The pathological results showed poorly differentiated carcinoma of left thyroid and papillary carcinoma of right thyroid with bilateral Hashimoto's thyroiditis. The patient received resection of residual thyroid and lymph nodes in another hospital, with no tumor or metastasis found. The patient without radiotherapy or chemotherapy was followed up for 34 months, and no progressive lesions were found.

3.Analysis and Evaluation of Sickbed Utilization in the General Rehabilitation Center

ObjectiveTo analyze the sickbed setup and utilization in the general rehabilitation center and offer gists for strengthening hospital optimize project of sickbed setup.MethodsThe factual sickbed demand, standard sickbed demand and the ratio of confessing and requiring were counted and analyzed.ResultsThe sickbed turnover times of the internal medicine and ICU were accord with request, but the rate of sickbed utilization was higher, the sickbed utilization rate of the other section offices were higher. The sickbed turnover times were lower compared with control lever.ConclusionThe hospital manager should take some measures for optimize sickbed setup, and strengthen manage to improve the medical quality.
4.The clinical analysis of patients with Turner syndrome and spondyloarthropathy

Objective To investigate the clinical characteristics of Turner syndrome in patients with spondyloarthropathy.MethodsSix patients from our hospital were included and the clinical manifestations,laboratory parameters and imaging presentations were analyzed retrospectively and the relevant literature were reviewed.ResultsThe mean age of these 6 cases was (27±5) years.Two cases were spondyloarthropathy,3 cases were ankylosing spondylitis,1 was psoriatic arthritis.Five cases were complicated with peripheral arthriris,2 cases were complicated with inflammatory back pain,4 cases had vertebral activity limitation,3 cases had joint deformity.The karyotype of 6 cases was 45,XO.Six cases were complicated with osteoporosis.Conclusion Turner syndrome can be presented with spondyloarthropathy,arthritis,osteoporosis.Dysplasia of bone is common.
5.Determination of Imperatorin in Qingwen Jiedu Tablets by RP-HPLC

OBJECTIVE:To establish a RP-HPLC method for the determination of imperatorin in Qingwen jiedu tablets(heat-clearing and detoxifying agent).METHODS:The chromatographic separation was performed on Diamonsil-C18(250 mm?4.6 mm,5 ?m)with column temperature kept at 35 ℃.The mobile phase consisted of methanol-water(70∶30)at a flow rate of 0.8 mL?min-1 with detection wavelength set at 300 nm.RESULTS:The linear range of imperatorin was 2.7~27.0 ?g?mL-1(r=0.999 9)with its average recovery at 98.9%(RSD=1.44%,n=6).CONCLUSION:The established method was proved to be well-separated,sensitive,accurate and applicable for the quality control of Qingwen jiedu tablets.
6.Effects of topiramate on hydrous capacity in brain tissue and neurons apoptosis in rats with perinatal ischemic brain damage

Objective To investigate the effects of topiramate on neurons apoptosis and the hydrous capacity in brain tissue in rats with perinatal acute ischemic brain damage.Methods The perinatal acute ischemic brain damage model was established by ligation of both uterine arteries of full-term pregnant Wistar rats(n=315).They were divided randomly into topiramate one and five times groups and hypoxic-ischemia(HI) group(n=105),and normal collate group consisted of 105 normal Wistar rats.The effects of topiramate were observed by the changes of hippocampal apoptosis cells labeled in situ end TUNEL methods at different time spots(postnatal 3 h,6 h,24 h,(3 d,7 d),14 d,21 d,28 d) and the hydrous capacity in brain tissue within 7 d after birth.Results The hydrous capacity in brain tissue in administering drug one time group was remarkably less than that in HI group at 12 and(72 h after) birth,and it in administering drug five time group was remarkably less than those in HI group and administering drug one time group at 48 and 72 h after birth(P
7.Value of advanced virtual monoenergetic technique in improving imaging quality of lliofemoral arteries

Objective To investigate the value of advanced virtual monoenergetic technique(mono-plus) of dual-energy CT (DECT) in improving imaging quality of the lliofemoral arteries.Methods Forty consecutive patients underwent DECT scan.Mono-plus images (40 keV),optimal monoenergy images and mixed energy images were obtained by using Siemens Syngo.via VB10A workstation.CT values,signal-to-noise ratio (SNR), contrast-to-noise ratio (CNR) and subjective image quality were calculated in the abdominal aorta,iliac artery,external iliac artery,femoral artery,profound femoral artery, lateral circumflex femoral artery,transversal branch of lateral circumflex femoral artery,medial circumflex femoral artery and profound branch of medial circumflex femoral artery and compared among the three groups.Results Compared with the optimal monoenergy and mixed energy groups,CT value and CNR of the 9 arteries were significantly higher in the mono-plus group (P<0.003).SNR of the transversal branch of lateral circumflex femoral artery and the profound branch of medial circumflex femoral artery showed no significant difference (P>0.05) among the threegroups,whereas SNR of the arties bigger than the 6th grade branch were significantly lower in the mono-plus group (P<0.05).The subjective image quality in the mono-plus group was significant better than the other two groups(P<0.001).Conclusion 40 keV mono-plus technique in DECT can improve the display of lliofemoral arteries especially the small and distal branches.

9.Antithymocyte Globulin Combining Cyclosporin in Treatment of Pediatric Severe Aplastic Anemia

Objective To analyze the effectiveness of antithymocyte globulin(ATG) combined with cyclosporin(CSA)in treatment of pediatric severe aplastic anemia(SAA).Methods Seven children with SAA were treated with ATG and CSA,ATG 4-5 mg/(kg?d),5 days,methyprednisone 2-3 mg/(kg?d) to reduce anaphylaxis,CSA 3-5 mg/(kg?d),assisting with transfusion and G-CSF.Results The complete remission rate was 28.57%(2/7),the partial remission rate was 14.29%(1/7),and the obvious improvement rate was 28.57%(2/7),1 child died.The overall response rate was 71.43%.Transfusion volumes in 4 to 6 months post treatment decreased obviously comparing to the first 3 months(P
10. Rapid determination of oleanolic acid and ursolic acid in eight kinds of Chinese materia medica by HPLC

Objective: To establish a method of rapid analysis for simultaneous determination of oleanolic acid and ursolic acid in Chinese materia medica (CMM) of Verbena officinalis, Ligustrum lucidum, Prunella vulgaris, Hedyotis diffusa, Patrinia scabiosaefolia, Eriobotrya japonica, Crataegus pinnatifida, Chaenomeles Fructus papaya. Methods: The analyses of preparation were conducted by accelerated solvent extraction (ASE), methanol was used as solvent extraction, and the static extraction time was 6 min. Separation was carried out on Acclaim C30 Thermo column with acetonitrile and 0.2% acetic acid (85:15) as mobile phase, flow rate was 0.3 mL/min, and UV detection wavelength was set at 205 nm. Results: After 10 min sample extraction time, oleanolic acid and ursolic acid reached baseline separation, and no sample matrix was interfered, the linear correlation coefficient was over 0.999, the average recovery between 95.8% and 102.7%; Compared to Chinese Pharmacopoeia 2015, the determination of average mass fraction difference was 3.7% and 5.8%. Conclusion: This method is simple, fast, and suitable for the analysis of these drugs, and it can be used for content determination of oleanolic acid and ursolic acid for eight kinds of CMM.
