Objective To investigate the clinical value and adverse reactions of indwelling ureteral stentsinthepreventionofureteralinjurybeforecomplexpelvictumorsurgery.Methods 145casesofpatients with rectal cancer ,cervical cancer ,ovarian cancer and pelvic sarcomas were retrospectively analyzed ,and 53 pa-tients with complex pelvic tumor surgery ,preoperative were under cystoscope unilateral or bilateral ureteral stent tube,pulled out according to the intraoperative situation after surgery or lien ,92 patients as control group .Results Ureteral injury was found in 10 of the 145 patients,2 cases in ureteral catheter group and 8 cases in control group .3 cases of postoperative ureteral fistula occurred in the control group .Indwelling ureteral stents could cause adverse reactions such as hematuria ,osphyalgia and urinary irritation ,and the adverse reactions of catheter group was obviously higher than that of control group (P<0.05).Conclusion Cystoscopic ureteral stent placement has important clinical significance for prevention of ureteral injury despite certain adverse reactions ,which can be used in operation of complex pelvic tumor .

Objective To study the effects of lifestyle quantilization based-weight management on overweight or obesity police officers.Methods One hundred and seven overweight or obesity police officers received lifestyle quantilization based-weight management (i.e.Jinbi weight management) and were then assigned to the excellent performance group (group A,n =50),good performance group (group B,n =42)and loss to follow-up group (group C,n =15).Dietary habits,body weight,height,waist circumference (WC),blood pressure (BP),total cholesterol (TC),triglyceride (TG),low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C),high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C) and fasting plasma glucose (FPG) were measured before and after the intervention.After 8 weeks' intervention,the changes of above parameters were recored.Student's t test was used for data analysis.Results Of group A and B,83 reported weight loss (group A t =13.31,group B t =5.04 ; both P ＜ 0.05).In group A,body weight,body mass index (BMI),WC,body fat and visceral fat index were significantly decreased,in contrast to body water (t values were 13.31,13.72,10.8,8.59,6.83 and-6.62,respectively; all P ＜ 0.05).However,there were no significant changes of BP,FPG,TC,TG,LDL-C and HDL-C in group A.Following intervention,daily dietary energy intake of group A was reduced by 74.1 k J,fat intake was decreased by 11.6 g,energy ratio of dietary fat was decreased by 1.8％,energy ratio of cereal was increased by 4.2％,and sodium chloride and cooking oil was decreased by 1.3 g and 10 g,respectively.Conclusion Lifestyle quantilization based-weight management shows effectiveness among overweight or obese police officers,and thus may be recommended for other functional communities.

Tramadol and its metabolites in rat urine were identified by LC-MS(n). Rat urine samples of 0-36 h were collected after ip 9.0 mg x kg(-1) tramadol, then the samples were enriched and purified through solid-phase extraction cartridge. Purified samples were analyzed by LC-MS(n). Possible metabolites were discovered by comparing the full scan and SIM chromatograms of the test samples with the corresponding blanks and analyzing the retention time, quasi-molecular ion and fragment ion of all chromatograms. Nine phase I metabolites and four phase II metabolites were identified in rat urine. One of the metabolites was found first time in living body. The metabolites were formed via the following metabolic pathways: O-demethylation, N-demethylation, hydroxylation, N-oxidation and conjugation. The method can be used to identify tramadol and its metabolites in other animals and human.

Background The application of femtosecond laser in the corneal refractive surgery has made great progression recent years,but the morphology characteristic of corneal stroma surface after making-flap of femtosecond laser is closely concerned.Objective This study was to analyze the influence of photodisrnption of femtosecond laser on the corneal stroma surface and to investigate the effect of different laser pulse energy on the sudace ultrastructure of corneal stroma.Methods Corneal flaps were made with Visu Max femtosecond laser in 16 fresh porcine eyes with the pulse energy 125 nJ,155 nJ and 195 nJ respectively,and Moria-M2 microkeratome was used as control.Scanning electron microscopy (S-3400N Hitachi High-Technologies Corp) was used to observe and compare the ultrastructural characteristic of corneal stroma bed surface after making of corneal flap.Results The corneal strnma was evaporated and created a smooth surface when photodisrnption happened in the femtosecond laser group.Residual tissue bridges could been exhibited among the cavitation bubbles under the scanning electron microscope.Corneal strnma surface was smooth in the 125 nJ pulse energy group,but some tissue bridges still were visible.In the 155 nJ pulse energy group,much more smooth surface was seen without tissue bridges and mechanical damages on the corneal surface.However,the surface quality was worse and many tissue bridges and grooves existed in the 195 nJ pulse energy group.In addition,different sizes of slots caused by big cavitation bubbles were visible with the round and oval shape.The edges were regular and sharp with small damage zone after cutting with femtoseeond laser.However,many elevated fibril tissues could be seen on the corneal surface after making of flap with microkeratome.Many crimp and irregularity tissues were found on the surface.Blunt surface and indentations appeared in the cutting edge.Conclusions The mierostrueture of corneal stroma surface is more smoother after making of corneal flap with fentosecond laser in comparison with microkeratome.Pulse energy of 155 nJ is preferably during the making-flap with femtosecond laser.

Objective To explore the stress status and its influencing factors of nursing interns in an military hospital.Methods 190 nursing interns were surveyed by an self-made general information questionnaire and a pressure source scale of practice nurses.Results The stress status at the end of practice of nursing interns in our hospital was at the low level.The total pressure source score was (25.37 ± 4.69).The major influencing factors of stress status were levels of education (technical secondary school,college or bachelor degree) and manners of profession choosing ( voluntarily,family intention or assigned).Among them,interns with higher level of education had more stress.Interns who chose nursing as profession by assignment had higher stress level than those by family intention or voluntarily.Conclusions Understanding basic characteristics and special situations of nursing interns with different education levels and manners of profession choosing is useful for nursing managers to make effective intervention strategies,adjust and protect stress level,and ensure physical and mental health of the nursing interns.

Thienorphine is a chemically-new opioid developed in Beijing Institute of Pharmacology and Toxicology. To elucidate the chemical basis for the unique pharmacological effects of thienorphine, 15 derivatives were synthesized according to combinatorial chemistry and the structure-activity relationships of these compounds were studied. It is demonstrated that thienorphine is a potent long-acting partial agonist. N-Cyclopropylmethyl is responsible for the antagonist effect of thienorphine. More importantly, thiophene at the end of side chain is most likely the pharmacophore accounts for the long-lasting effect of thienorphine. Change of the connection of thiophene and the side chain does not result in changes in the antinociceptive activity.
