To explore the relationship between serum total bile acid concentration and fetal prognosis in patients with intrahepatic cholestasis of pregnancy (ICP).A total of 131 ICP patients were divided into mild and severe ICP groups according to serum total bile acid concentration.And another 100 normal subjects during the same period were selected as control group.Their medical records and fetal prognoses were analyzed.The serum total bile acid,liver enzyme and lipid concentration of ICP patients were all significantly higher than those of the controls (P ＜ 0.01).The fetal prognoses of ICP patients were significantly different with those of controls (P ＜ 0.05).A high serum level of total bile acid of ICP patients may produce serious adverse effects on fetal prognosis.

Objective To explore the effectiveness and safety of fiberbronchoscope combined with cryotherapeatic equipment in treatment of bronchial foreign body in children.Methods 72 children with bronchial foreign body received fiberbronchoscope combined with cryotherapeatic equipment, then the complications were observed during and after the operation.Results Bronchial foreign bodies were successfully removed in all the patients. Among the 72 cases, transient hypoxia was the most common complication during the operation which happened in 37 cases and most occurred in the small age group, and decreased with the age increasing; cough or worsening of cough was the most common complication after the operation which happened in 20 cases; No serious complications were found during the follow-up.Conclusion Although it has some complications when bronchial foreign body received the fiberbronchoscope combined with cryotherapeatic equipment, but the operation time is short, and the complication is mild. It has great application value and security.

Objective α?Asarone has the effect of relieving cough and asthma as well as sedative, hypnotic and anticonvul?sive function. Our study was designed to explore the effects of apoptosis induced by α? Asarone on human esophageal carcinoma Eca?109 cell line as well as the expression levels of GADD153 and Smac mRNA. Methods Human esophageal carcinoma Eca?109 cells were cultured in vitro, which were divided into blank control group, 5?FU group( 500μg/mL) andα?Asarone group of different dosages ( 25,50,100μg/mL) . After cultivation, MTT method and Annexin V?PI were used to measure cell proliferation rate and apoptosis rate. Expression levels of GADD153 and Smac protein and mRNA were detected by western blotting and real? time quantitative PCR. Results Compared with blank control group, the cell proliferation rates in other groups decreased significantly (P<0.01), and cell apoptosis rate increased significantly ( P<0.01) . Compared with blank control group, the expression levels of GADD153 and Smac pro?tein and mRNA in other groups increased significantly( P<0.05) . Conclusion α? Asarone can inhibit cell proliferation and induce the apoptosis of human esophageal carcinoma Eca?109 by regulating the expression levels of GADD153 and Smac gene.

Study a method for the detemination of the content of polysaccharides in Gentiana farreri, and analysis of the content of polysaccharides from different producing areas. The results showed that using the anthrone-sulfuric acid method, simple operation, accurate result. Sample was measured at 620 nm absorbance after anthrone-sulfuric acid color, at this wavelength, solution absorption and glucose showed a good linear relationship; The linearity was in the range of 0.01-0.07 g x L(-1) (r = 0.996 7). The recovery rate was 99.41%, with RSD of 2.0%. Considering the experimental conditions, to determine the solid-liquid ratio 1:60, extracting time 50 min, concentration of ethanol 80%. The mass fraction of polysaccharides was the highest to reached 0.743% in G. farreri from Gansu Xiahe. This experiment has laid a good foundation for further study on G. farreri.

Purpose The clinical manifestation of primary lymphoma of bone (PBL) is lack of specificity,and it is easy to be misdiagnosed.This study is to investigate the characteristics of ~F-fluorodeoxyglucose (~F-FDG) positron emission tomography/computed tomography (PET/CT) of PBL and to improve the understanding of its imaging findings.Materials and Methods Fourteen patients with PLB (9 males and 5 females) proved by pathology in the Affiliated Hospital of Southwest Medical University from January 2011 to October 2015 were enrolled.18F-FDG PET/CT findings of all the patients were retrospectively analyzed.The CT image,PET image and fusion image were analyzed by 3 physicians of medical imaging.The SUVmax value of the lesion was measured through region of interesting.Results Ten patients with unifocal lesion involved 4 cases of femoral bone,2 cases of pelvis,2 cases of vertebrae,1 case of ulna and 1 case of tibia.The other 4 patients had multifocal lesions.The lesions showed different level of increased radioactivity on the PET imaging with SUVmax of 9.85±4.29.On syn-CT images,6 cases of unifocal PLB showed cribriform or fuzzy boundary insect erosion osteolytic bone destruction,5 of which were accompanied by cortical bone destruction.The other 4 cases of unifocal PLB showed mixed bone destruction.Among the 10 cases of uniffocal PLB,7 of them showed soft tissue masses with unclear boundary and no obvious necrosis or cystic change,1 of them showed pathological fracture and periosteum reaction.The 4 cases of multifocal PBL patients showed multiple osteolytic bone destruction,2 of them had localized soft tissue masses.Conclusion 18F-FDG PET/CT manifestations of PBL have certain characteristics,which is helpful for early diagnosis.It may provide important information for clinical treatment and prognosis evaluation.

Objective To investigate the clinical features of infective endocarditis(IE)in senile patients.Methods The clinical data of 166IE patients were retrospectively studied,including 37senile cases and 129middle aged and young patients finally diagnosed as IE and treated in the hospital the authors served from Jan.1999to Jan.2009.Analysis and comparison between the two groups were done on original heart diseases,clinical manifestations,laboratory examination,imaging features,treatment,prognosis and outcome.Results Among the primary heart diseases,degenerative heart valve disease(62.1%,23/37)and coronary heart disease(24.3%,9/37)were more common in senile patients,among them the body temperature of febrile cases was usually below 38.5℃ (75.7%,28/37),and the cardiac murmurs could be heard usually in aortic valve area(51.4%,19/37).The incidence of embolization was lower in senile group(13.5%,5/ 39)than in middle aged and young group(31.8%,41/129)with significant difference(P0.05)was found in operative mortality between the two groups.Conclusions The outcome is worse in senile patients with infective IE than in middle aged and young cases.Early diagnosis for senile IE patients was difficult because of atypical clinical features and lower positive rate of blood culture.Echocardiography may play a pivotal role in the diagnosis of senile infective IE.Surgical operation may be a reasonable option for the senile IE patients with operative indication.

Objective To investigate the effect of augmenter of 1iver regeneration(ALR)on hepatocytes transplanted intraperitoneally in acute hepatic failure(AHF)rats.Methods AHF SD rats were induced by D-gal.The rats were divided into 5 groups randomly:blank control group(only receiving normal saline),transplantation control group(transplanting 2 X 107 hepatocytes from SD rats),ciclosporin A group(CsA group,receiving hepatocytes and CsA 6 days after transplantation),ALRgroup(receiving hepatocytes plus ALR 6 days after transplantation),ALR control group(only receiving ALR 6 days after transplantation).All drugs and cells were intraperitoneally injected.There was a observation period of 14 days after transplantation.The survival rate of receptors and transplanted hepatocytes was observed.The expression levels of CD4,CD8 and CD68 in abdominal cells,the levels of IL-1β and TNF-a in serum and douche of peritoneal cavity were detected.Results The 2-week SuFvival rate in blank control group,transplantation control group,CsA group,ALR group and ALR control group was 0,46.7%,20%,66.7%and 14.3%respectively.Survival rate in AI.R group was higher than in blank control group(P=0.001).Serum levels of d1-2 TNF-a in ALR group was all lower than in blank and transplantation control groups(P＜(0.01).Serum levels of d1-2 IL-18 in ALR group were lower than in transplantation control group.Ascitic levels of d1-2 TNF-a and IL-1β in transplantation control group were higher than in other groups(P＜0.05,P＜0.01).The serum levels of TNF-a and IL-1β in all survival groups were similar tO normal levels on the 14th day after transplantation.The positive expression rate of d1-2 CD68 in grafts of ALR group was(0.5±0.3)%.The positive expression rate of CD68 in grafts of ALR group was obviously lower than in transplantation control group and CsA groups(P＜0.01).The expression of d1-2 CD68,CD4 and CD8 in ALR group was respectively(1.3±1.2)%,(0.1±0.3)%and(0.2±0.1)%,all obviously lower than in transplantation control group(P＜0.01,P＜0.01,P＜0.05).Assembled conglobate hepatocyte noduses were observed in abdominal cavity in rats receiving hepatocytes transplantation during first to third day after transplantation.The number of survival grafts in ALR group was more than that in transplantation control group and CsA group,and infihrated inflammatory cells were less.On the 14th day posttransplantation.small amounts of normal hepatocytes in grafts were observed only in ALR group.Conclusion After HcT plus ALR intraperitoneally,the survival rate of AHF rats was increased.ALR improved survivorship of transplanted hepatocytes in short term.

Objective To explore the correlations between elevated cfDNA with lupus nephritis and indentify the influencing factors of cfDNA in systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE).Methods Fifty four patients with SLE [37 patients with lupus nephritis (LN) and 43 age-and sex-matched healthy controls] were included in the study.In 37 LN patients,26 patients were at active stage,and 11 patients were in remission.cfDNA concentration was measured with Picogreen Kit and low-density granulocytes (LDGs) was tested by flowcytometer.Correlation and regression analysis were performed to discover whether cfDNA is related to LN and identify the influencing factor of cffDNA.Results The cfDNA in SLE group was (237±40) ng/ml,which was significantly higher than that in healthy control group (188±41 ng/ml,P＜0.01).cfDNA in LN group was significantly higher than that in patients without LN (NLN) (247±47 ng/ml vs 214±31 ng/ml,P=0.028).cfDNA in patients with active LN was significantly higher than that in patient with inactive LN (RLN) (254±50 ng/ml vs 216±29 ng/ml,P=0.035).In SLE group,cfDNA was positively correlated with quantitative 24-hour urinary protein (r=0.350,P=0.013) and reversely correlated with albumin (r=-0.500,P＜0.01) and endogenous creatinine clearance rate (Ccr) (r=-0.354,P=0.044).Percentage of LDGs in peripheral blood mononuclear ceils (PBMCs) of the SLE group was (8.3± 12.9)％,significantly was higher than that in healthy controls [(1.2±0.7)％,P=0.004].The cfDNA was positively correlated with LDGs (r=0.636,P=0.002) and neutrophils (r=0.599,P＜0.01).Conclusion NETs excessively released by neutrophils as well as LDGs may be one of the main reasons for elevated cfDNA level in SLE.cfDNA level is associated with LN activity,suggesting that there is a intrinsic link between NETs-related biomarkers and active LN and that more specific biomarkers of NETs may become a clinical biomarker for active LN.

Objective To investigate the role and potential mechanism of interleukin-17A (IL-17A) in the inflammatory response to traumatic brain injury (TBI) in rats.Methods The adult male Wistar rats were randomly (random number) divided into seven groups:control group (n =6),sham operation group (n =6),TBI group (n =24),sham operation + normal saline group (n =6),sham operation + Y320 (an immunomodulator acts as an inhibitor of IL-17A) group (n =6),TBI + normal saline group (n =6) and TBI + Y320 group (n =6).The TBI model of rat was established by using free-falling-body impact device.The levels of IL-17A and nuclear transcription factor kappa B p65 (NF-κB p65) in the cerebral cortex were assayed by using Western Blot.The capability of leaming and memory of rats was assessed by Morris water maze.The beam balance test was employed to evaluating the neurological motor performance and the capability of balance.Results Compared with the sham operation group,the levels of IL-17A and NF-κB p65 in the cerebral cortex of TBI,TBI + saline and TBI + Y320 groups increased significantly (P ＜0.05) and peaked at the 3rd day after TBI.Compared with TBI + normal saline group,the level of NF-κB p65 was significantly down regulated by Y-320 (P ＜ 0.05) at the 3rd day after TBI in TBI + Y320 group.The lengths of latency time required for rats to escape to the platform area in TBI + normal saline group were (57.72±3.29) s,(55.63±3.85) s,and (55.02±3.92) sat the3rd,5th and7th days after TBI,respectively;while those in TBI + Y320 group were (35.45 ± 3.04) s,(30.98 ± 2.92) s,and (23.90 ±2.51) s at the 3rd,5th and 7th days after TBI,respectively.Thus,the capability of learning and memory of rats in TBI + Y320 group was improved significantly 3d,5d and 7 days after TBI (all P ＜ 0.01).Conclusions This study shows IL-17A is involved in the process of secondary brain injury after TBI,and associated with inflammation by activating the NF-κB p65 signaling pathway.
