ObjectiveTo detect the effect of electroacupuncture combined with acupoint injection of deer melon polypeptide on the bone morpho-genetic protein synovial, BMPs and serum rheumatoid factor IgA-RF, IgM-RF.MethodsA total of 246 patients with Rheumatoid arthritis were divided randomly into control group and combined treatment group, 123 patients in each group. The control group received the treatment of electro-acupuncture, drug and Ultrashort wave therapy, and the combined treatment group continue to receive acupoint injection of deer melon polypeptide after 30 minutes when the treatment of control group was completed. Both groups were treated for 2 weeks. The expression of BMPs, MMP-1 and the ESR, serum rheumatoid factor IgA-RF, IgM-RF were detected. The morning stiffness time, Western Ontario and McMaster Universities Osteoarthritis Index (WOMAC) and visual analogue scale (VAS) were recorded for outcome assessment.ResultsCompared with control group after treatment, the positive expression rates of ESR (8.79 ±1.61 mm/hvs.12.41 ± 2.57 mm/h,t=3.654), IgM-RF (22.38% ± 5.45%vs.39.57% ± 6.18%,t=2.365), IgA RF (32.84% ± 6.57%vs.49.84% ± 4.20%,t=2.574) in the combined treatment group significantly decreased. Compared with the control group, the expression of BMPs (15.43 ± 2.94vs.7.22 ± 1.52,t=3.914) in the combined treatment group significantly increased, while MMP-1 (8.01% ± 1.54%vs. 15.34% ± 2.47%,t=2.015) in the combined treatment group significantly decreased (P<0.05). Compared with control group, the outcomes VAS (3.37 ± 0.35 vs.5.75 ± 0.39, t=3.251), WOMAC (22.36 ± 3.49vs.30.50 ± 4.11,t=4.021), and morning stiffness (34.32 ± 5.57 minvs. 49.84 ± 4.20 min,t=3.914) in the combined treatment group significantly decreased (P<0.05). Objective To establish an accurate method for estimating the indoor gamma dose rate from decorative stones.Methods Combining a room model with decorating conditions,the gamma dose rates and dose rate conversion factors (DCF) at 1 m above the floor in the room center were calculated with the Monte Carlo simulations,and the calculation results were verified through experiments.Based on the results,the limit of radionuclide contents in stone materials was further discussed.Results The DCF increases with the increase of area or thickness of decorative stones in the same room.The increase of DCF with the thickness of decorative stone is approximately linear.The DCF also increases with the area of decorative stones,but the increasing trend slows down.For the same decorative stones,the smaller the room,the larger the increase of gamma dose rate.Experimental results were consistent with the simulation results within ± 20％.Conclusions The increase of indoor gamma dose rate depends not only on the radionuclide contents,but also on the area and thickness of the decorative stones as well as the room size.The method used in this study can be used to estimate,more accurately than ever,the additional external exposure to residents due to decorative stones,and it provides a theoretical basis for revising the limit standard on radionuclide contents in decorative materials.

Objective To evaluate the efficacy of Coopdech bronchial blocker combined with a strengthened single-lumen tube for airway management in patients undergoing upper mediastinal tumor resection. Methods Twenty-two ASA Ⅱ or Ⅲ patients, aged 24-66 yr, weighing 48-78 kg, scheduled for elective resection of upper mediastinal tumor, were randomly divided into 2 groups (n=11 each):double-lumen tube group(groupⅠ) and Coopdech bronchial blocker combined with a strengthened single-lumen tube group(group Ⅱ).One-lung ventilation was achieved with a double-lumen tube in groupⅠ. The Coopdech bronchial blocker combined with a strengthened single-lumen tube was used for airway management and the Coopdech bronchial blocker was used for lung isolation when one-lung ventilation was required in group Ⅱ. The fiberoptic bronchoscope was used to assist endotracheal tube positioning in both groups. The intubation time, positioning time, the number of patients required for tube displacement, the number of fiberoptic bronchoscopy, increase in airway peak pressure, degree of lung collapse, postoperative sore throat and hoarseness, and the number of patients needing ventilator-assisted ventilation were recorded. Results The intubation time was significantly shorter, the number of patients required for tube displacement was significantly smaller,and the rate of increase in airway peak pressure and incidences ofpostoperative sore throat and hoarseness were significantly lower in group Ⅱ than in group Ⅰ (P＜0.05 or0.01). Conclusion The efficacy of the Coopdech bronchial blocker combined with a strengthened single-lumen tube for airway management is better in patients undergoing upper mediastinal tumor resection than the double-lumen tube.

Objective To examine the impact of cognitive behavior intervention (CBI) on mother-infant interaction in the neonatal department. Methods Low-risk appropriate for gestational age premature infants with gestational age 28-36 weeks, who were admitted to the neonatal intensive care unit in our hospital between August 2007 and May 2008, and their mothers were assigned to intervention group and control group respectively. Intervention group mothers (n = 19)participated in CBI. Control group mothers (n= 19) were asked to read educational materials. Mothers in the intervention group, all received 4 times interventions and 2 h for each time. The CBI process include assessment, plan, implementation and evaluation. Mothers were educated for knowledge about appearance and behavioral characteristics of preterm infants and were guided about how to take care of their babies and participate in nursing care process. Mothers completed measures on mother-infant interaction (Nursing Child Assessment Feeding Scale, NCAFS) in the first follow-up after infant discharge. Results The results showed that the scores of NCAFS and total scores of the mothers in the intervention mother-infant dyads were 46.4 ± 8.5 and 35.8±6.3,higher than in the control group (42.7±5.9 and 33.3 ± 5.6), respectively, but there were no statistic difference between the two groups (t = 1.55 and 1.28, P＞ 0. 05). The scores of "mother's response to distress" were significantly higher in the intervention mother-infant group (12. 2± 1.7) than in the control group (10.7±2.4)(t=2.10,P＜0.05). Conclusions The levels of premature infant-mother interactions are low. CBI can improve mother's response to premature infant's distress. Further study is needed to investigate the effects of CBI in improving mother-infant interaction.

Objective To investigate the clinical values of quantitative ultrasound elastography technique in detecting internal carotid artery thickness .Methods One hundred and forty healthy objects who have conducted physical examination in our hospital from February 2012 to August 2015 were selected ,and divided in to three groups:the healthy control group (n=40;IMT<0 .9 mm) ,the IMT thickening group (n=60;0 .9 mm≤ IMT < 1 .3 mm) and plaque group(n= 40 ;IMT ≥1 .3 mm) .All the three groups conducted routine ultrasound and quantitative ultrasound elastography ,and the clinical data investigation and laboratory ex‐amination were carried out at the same time .Results The TC ,LDL‐C values in the plaque group and intimal thickening group were significantly higher than the control group (P<0 .05) .The AC values in the plaque group and intimal thickening group were signif‐icantly higher than the control group (P<0 .05) ,while the AI and PWVβvalues were significantly lower(P<0 .05) .Linear corre‐lation analysis showed that IMT were positively correlated to the AI ,PWVβ (r=0 .512 ,P <0 .05 ;r= 0 .483 ,P<0 .05) ,and the AC were negatively correlated (r= -0 .713 ,P<0 .05);Logistic analysis showed that LDL‐C ,AC ,PWVβwere the major independ‐ent risk factors for IM T (P<0 .05) .Conclusion Ultrasound elasticity quantitative detection of neck vessels is safe and can non‐in‐vasive dynamically observe blood vessel wall changes during the progression of atherosclerosis ,thus it's helpful in the judge and i‐dentification of internal carotid artery thickness .

Objective To investigate the protective effect of carnosine on Glutamate induced apoptosis in SH-SY5Y cells and its mechanism. Methods The injury model was established by treating SH-SY5Y cells with glutamate in vitro.Inverted microscope was used to observe cell morphology. The cell viability was detected by MTT assay, and changes in nucleus were detected by Hoechst33258 staining under fluorescence microscopy.The cell apoptosis rates were measured by flow cytometry.The reactive oxygen species ( ROS ) level in cells was detected by fluorescent probe CDFH-DA. Results Compared with normal control group, the cell viability in glutamate group decreased (P<0.01), the morphology changes of cell apoptosis such as karyopyknosis and split were observed by Hoechst33258 staining, while the apoptosis rate and the level of ROS were increased (P<0.01). Compared with glutamate group, the cell viability of carnosine 0.6,3,15 mmol/L groups obviously increased(P<0.01), while the morphology changes of cell apoptosis significantly improved, the apoptosis rate and the level of ROS were obviously reduced ( P<0.01 ) .Compared with normal control group, the cell viability, the morphology changes and the apoptosis rate did not significantly change in carnosine group.The level of ROS was reduced, but there was no statistically significant difference between two groups.Conclusion Carnosine has apparent protective effect on apoptosis of SH-SY5Y cells injury induced by glutamate.The mechanism may be related to carnosine prevent the occurrence of oxidative stress.

Objective To explore the feasibility of endothelial function of dorsal artery of foot in patients with type 2 diabetes(T2DM) by high frequency ultrasound combined with warm bath test.MethodsThirty-five patients with T2DM and thirty normal people were collected,all subjects were examined by high frequency ultrasound.Diameter of brachial artery in baseline and after reactive hyperaemia were detected;Diameter of dorsal artery of foot in baseline and after the foot immersed in 40℃ warm water for 5 minutes were acquired.Flow mediated dilatation of dorsalis pedis artery(FMDDPA) and flow mediated dilatation of brachial artery(FMDBA) were calculated and compared.Multiple stepwise regression analysis was used to examine the correlation between FMDDPA and hemoglobin A1c(HbAlc). Results The FMDDPA and FMDBA were decreased in patients with T2DM (P<0.01).The FMDDPA and FMDBA were correlated significantly(r=0.864,P<0.01).In stepwise regression analysis,HbA1c is the most affecting factor for FMDDPA (R2=0.321,P<0.01).Conclusions Ultrasound combined with warm bath test can be used to detect the change of endothelial function of dorsal artery of foot in patients with T2DM,which have a certain clinical application value in endothelial function of terminal limb artery.

Objective To evaluate the value of contrast-enhanced ultrasound(CEUS) in diagnosis of placental increta.Methods Twenty seven suspected patients with placental increta were examined with CEUS after routine ultrasound examination.SonoVue was injected intravenously as bolus and a real time CEUS was performed.The characteristics of contrast perfusion was analysised.Results Among the three antepartum CEUS cases,two had a clear boundary between the placenta and uterine wall,there was no residual placenta after induced labor;one had a blur boundary between the local placenta and uterine wail,and the local placenta adherenced to the uterine wall tightly when cesarean section was performed after induction failure.Comparison between CEUS and uterine curettage in 20 cases,5 cases had a dear boundary between residual disease in uterine cavity and uterine wall.The boundary between residual disease in uterine cavity and uterine wall disappeared in other 15 cases.Four cases performed total and subtotal hysterectomy,the uterine myometrium of placenta affixing part were very thin (3 - 5 mm),and the boundary between the placenta and uterine wall disappeared,and placental increta was proved by intraoperative and pathology.Conclusions When the boundary between residual placenta and uterine wall disappeared and/or the local uterine wall became thin,placental increta was suggested intensively.
