Objective To study the effect of internal fixation of fibula on treatment of tibia and fibula unstable fractures. Methods 50 cases with middle and lower 1/3 fractures of tibia and fibula were treated with internal fixation of fibula and close reduction and external stabilization of tibia. Fibula was stabilized with plate and screw or intramedullary nail. Results All the 50 cases of the fracture achieved clinic union, reduction was satisfactory, and the average time of clinical union was 5 months. The functions of the joint were normal. No skin necrosis or infection occurred. Conclusion Fixation of fibula is suitable for treatment of close fracture combined with local skin injury or open fractures of tibia and fibula and lower 1/3 comminuted fracture of tibia combined with fibula fracture.

Objective To evaluate the effect of performance evaluation on pharmacy management at hospitals run by Beijing Municipal Administration of Hospitals. Methods Analysis of performance evaluation indexes, and retrospective analysis of drug use indexes of the recent three years since the initiation of performance evaluation at the hospital. Results Continuous performance management has significantly boosted indexes of hospital pharmacy management. For example in 2014, medicine proportion at municipal hospitals accounted for 41.55%.Conclusion Awareness of rational drug use at hospitals has significantly strengthened, and the pharmacists played a positive role in upgrading pharmacy.Performance evaluation promotes Beijing ’s municipal hospitals to put their pharmacy management on a scientific and standardized track.

AIM:To detect the changes of cystathionine β-synthase (CBS) expression in the brain following ischemia-reperfusion of hind limbs in the rats and to elucidate their significance .METHODS:Hind limb ischemia was in-duced by clamping infrarenal aorta with a microvascular clip and brain injury was made by following reperfusion .The brain tissue was obtained from the animals subjected to sham operation , 4 h of ischemia without reperfusion and 3 h, 6 h, 12 h, 24 h of reperfusion following 4 h of ischemia .The expression of CBS at mRNA and protein levels was measured at different time points by reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction ( RT-PCR) and Western blotting .The CBS activity and hy-drogen sulfide ( H2 S) concentration in the brain were determined by a universal microplate reader .The observation of path-ologic changes of the brain was made following the inhibition of CBS by hydroxylamine .RESULTS:The relative expression of CBS at mRNA and protein levels in IR group significantly increased compared with sham group .It reached a peak at 12 h (P<0.01), and returned to baseline at 24 h (P>0.05).This time course correlated with increased CBS activity and H2 S concentration .No statistically significant difference in the above indexes between sham operation group and ischemia group was observed (P>0.05).Inhibition of CBS activity induced more severe brain injury in IR group .CONCLUSION:Up-regulation of CBS/H2 S pathway is involved in the protection for neurons during the ischemia-reperfusion of hind limbs .

Chinese Journal of Ultrasonography 2003;0(11):-
Objective To study the value of ultrasonographic diagnosis of galactostasis in lactation.MethodsPatients in lactation and post-lactation were examined by color Doppler ultrasonography.Combined puncture, operation and pathology, the imaging features of different stage were summarized. Results The type of galactostasis included ductal ectasia, galactocele, infection and consolidation. The ultrasonographic examination with imaging features can determine the diagnosis and judge the type and the course of disease. Conclusions Ultrasonography is a first choice in diagnosing galactostasis in lactation.

Chinese Journal of Rehabilitation Theory and Practice 2002;8(12):750-750
ObjectiveTo discuss the effect of neonatal behavioral neurological assessment (NBNA) and developmental screening test (DST) on newborns with hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy (HIE). MethodsNBNA was performed for 60 newborns with HIE within 12-14 days and DST was also performed at 6th month after birth.ResultsMild and severe degree HIE newborns with low NBNA scores had unfavorable prognosis. Conclusions NBNA and DST can provide evidence for early interference for newborn's HIE.

ObjectiveTo observe the effect of language rehabilitation training on stroke patients with complete aphasia.Methods10 stroke patients with complete aphasia were treated with language rehabilitation training.ResultsAfter training, scores of hearing, naming, reciting, reading, and writing of patients were significant higher than that before training (P<0.05—0.01).Conclusion Language rehabilitation training plays an active role in rehabilitation of stroke patients with complete aphasia.

Abstract: Objective ( )
To evaluate the internal exposure levels and risk in nuclear medicine workers NMWs engaged in
Methods
radionuclide therapy in Guangdong Province. A total of 61 NMWs from eight hospitals in Guangdong Province were
selected as the study subjects using the convenient sampling method. The 0.364 MeV full energy peak efficiency was detected in

Guangdong Province meets the annual effective dose limits ≤20.000 mSv/a . However it is necessary to pay attention to the
internal radiation protection of NMWs and take reasonable protective measures to reduce the internal exposure risk of NMWs.

Journal of Acupuncture and Tuina Science 2019;17(4):278-283
Amblyopia greatly affects the physical and mental development of children. Acupuncture is effective for amblyopia, though its mechanism remains unclear. This article summarized the mechanism of acupuncture treatment of amblyopia from the perspectives of morphology of neurons in visual cortex, visual electrophysiology, and molecular biology, etc. It was found that acupuncture may treat amblyopia through repairing the morphological and ultrastructural damages of neurons in visual cortex, promoting the electrical activities in visual pathway and visual cortical neurons, and modulating the synthesis and expression levels of factors involved in visual system. Nevertheless, further studies are required to unveil the mechanism of acupuncture treatment of amblyopia.

Journal of Huazhong University of Science and Technology (Medical Sciences) 2012;32(3):389-95
In the present study, we investigated the roles of TGF-β signaling pathway in a rat benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) model treated with cetrorelix. TGF-β1 and c-Myc expression were measured by qRT-PCR and Western blotting in the proximal and distal region of ventral prostatic lobes, respectively. We observed that treatment with cetrorelix led to a significant reduction of ventral prostate weight in a dose-dependent manner. In the proximal region, after cetrorelix treatment, the expression of TGF-β1 was dramatically increased (P<0.05), while the expression of c-Myc was significantly decreased (P<0.05). In comparison with the control group, the cetrorelix groups had more TUNEL-positive cells. Our findings strongly suggest that the TGF-β signaling pathway may be one of the major causes responsible for prostate volume reduction in BPH rats after cetrorelix treatment.
