Chinese Journal of Endocrinology and Metabolism 1986;0(03):-
Objective To observe whether leptin protects rat islet ?-cells from lipotoxicity induced by free Taity acid ( FFA). Methods Pancreatic islets were isolated from Wistar rats. Isolated islets were divided into 4 groups; ( 1 ) Control group; (2) Leptin group (murine recombinanl leptin 100?g/L) ; (3) FFA group [0. 25 mmol/L long chain fatty acid (oleate: palmitate =2: 1 ) ] ; (4) FFA + Leptin group (both leptin and FFA were added to the culture medium). Alter being cultured lor 72 hours, triglyceride ( TG) content in islets, insulin secreted under basal and glucose stimulated conditions, and the mRNA expression of fatty acid oxidase-carnitine palmityl transferase- 1 ( CFT- I ) , fatty acid synthetase-acyl-CoA carboxylase ( ACC) , peroxisome proliferator activated receptors ( PPAR)a and PPARr in islets were examined. Results ( 1 ) TC content in islets was elevated in FFA group as compared with control group ( P
3.Effects of basic fibroblast growth factor on endothelial function and structure of the basilar artery of atherosclerotic rats
Acta Anatomica Sinica 2014;(4):469-474
Objective To study the protective effect of basic fibroblast growth factor ( bFGF ) on endothelial function and structure of the basilar artery of atherosclerotic rats .Methods A total of forty-eight male adult Wister rats were randomly divided into the normal control , the atherosclerosis ( AS) model and the bFGF treatment groups .The AS model group and the bFGF treatment group were injected with a single dose of vitamin D 3 (6 ×105 IU/kg) and loaded with high fat diet for six consecutive weeks .The bFGF (9.5μg/kg, twice one day) was injection into the abdominal cavity after six weeks in the bFGF treatment group for two weeks , and an identical volume saline was given for the AS model group and the normal control group .After eight weeks , all the rats were sacrificed .The relaxation percentages of the isolated basilar artery in response to acetylcholine ( Ach) were detected and the pathological lesions of them were observed under a light microscope .ELISA and colorimetry assayed the content of serum VEGF and basilar arterial nitric oxide ( NO) .The basilar artery was used for primary culture of both vascular endothelial cells (VECs) and vascular smooth muscle cells (VSMCs). The influence of bFGF on the proliferation vitality of VECs was measured in vitro with MTT assay.TRITC-phalloidin labeling the cytoskeleton microfilament of VSMCs was observed by laser confocal microscopy .Results The early AS plaques were presented after six weeks by hyper lipid foods .Compared with the AS model group , the relaxation percentage of the isolated basilar artery , the content of both serum VEGF and basilar arterial NO in the bFGF treatment group were obviously increased, but the pathologic injury of the basilar artery was significantly decreased (P<0.05).The proliferation vitality of VECs was obviously increased (P<0.05); the cytoskeleton microfilament of VSMCs was of obviously improvement .Conclusion AS may aggravate the basilar arterial injury , but bFGF may efficiently improve the arterial endothelial function and decrease the pathological lesion of the basilar artery in the AS model rats , which may promote the arterial protective effect .

Microbiology 1992;0(01):-
Solid state fermentation involves the growth of microorganisms on moist solid substrates in the absence of free flowing water. It has gained considerable attention of late years due to its several advantages over submerged fermentation. This paper mainly introduces the characteristics and mathematical models of solid state fermentation and summarizes the development situation of various bioreactors, the design standards and applications.

Chinese Journal of Endemiology 2010;29(5):493-495
Objective To investigate the effect of fluoride on expression of Runx2 mRNA and protein in bone tissue of rats. Methods Fourteen SD rats were randomly divided into two groups: control group(tap water with fluoride < 0.06 mg/L), and fluorosis group(fluoride 50 mg/L in water). After 4 moths, expressions of both mRNA and protein of Runx2 in rat bone tissue were determined by RT-PCR and Western blotting. Results The results showed that the expression of Runx2 mRNA and protein in fluoride-treated bone tissue were 2.287 ± 0.261 and 0.929 ± 0.229, respectively, both of which were significantly higher than those of control group(0.995 ± 0.123,0.317 ± 0.068, t = 11.85,6.78, P < 0.05). Conclusions Fluoride can increase the expression of Runx2 mRNA and protein in bone tissue of rats, and Runx2 may be involved in the pathogenesis of bone injury caused by fluoride.

8. Determination of six saponins in Caulophyllum robustum by QAMS
Chinese Traditional and Herbal Drugs 2017;48(8):1661-1665
Objective: To establish a method of quantitative analysis of multi-components by single-marker (QAMS) for simultaneous determining six saponins in Caulophyllum robustum. Methods: Cauloside G was used as the internal reference standard; The relative correction factors of cauloside H, leonticin D, cauloside D, cauloside B, and cauloside C in C. robustum were calculated. To achieve the QAMS, the contents of indicative saponins were calculated by relative correction factors. At the same time, the external standard method was used to detect the contents of six kinds of ingredients in medicinal materials, and feasibility of QAMS was verified. Results: The relative correction factor had good reproducibility, there were no significant differences among the calculated values of multi-evaluation and measured values of the external standard method. Conclusion: In the absence of reference substance situation, QAMS can be used for the quality evaluation of C. robustum, and the method is accurate and reliable.

Chinese Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 2014;29(13):963-965
The main complications of Kawasaki diseases(KD) is relative to cardiovascular, especially coronary artery.Coronary artery lesions can be showed as arteritis, artery dilatation, aneurysm, arterial stenosis and so on.As a noninvasive, convenient, fast and well reproducible inspection method, echocardiography can offer dynamically observa tion of the evolution process of coronary artery lesions in each stage, accurately measure the coronary artery diameter, evaluate heart function in children, find other cardiac complications and which has become a standard diagnosis technics. With upgrades and new technology, the echocardiography plays a more and more important role in the diagnosis of acute period of KD and observation of curative effect, prognosis and long-term follow-up of recovery period of KD.

This study was aimed to analyze the volatile oil of Mentha crispata Schrad. ex Willd. in order to provide evidence for its chemotype and guidance for its production application. The chemical analysis was detected by headspace GC-MS. The results showed that 64 chemical compounds were detected. It was concluded that the volatile oil of M. crispata Schrad. ex Willd. mainly contained eucalyptol (35.58%), limonene (16.92%) and pinene (15.33%). It was concluded that the analysis on composition characteristics and main compounds of M. crispata Schrad. ex Willd. can provide evidences in its production application and chemotype.
