Objective To analyze the correlation between serum interleukin-18(IL-18) level and changes of heart function in children with viral myocarditis(VM).Methods Seventy-two cases with VM were selected from Tianjin Children's Hospital.Control group were selected from the patients in surgery outpatient department.The patient group was divided into 3 groups which were named non-heart failure group,heart failure group and cardiogenic shock group.The Pillip Sonos 5500 type echocardiogram was applied to measured the left ventricular fractional shortening(LVFS),ejection fraction (EF),left atrium inner diameter(LAD),left ventricular end diastolic inner diameter (LVEDD)and left ventricular end systolic inner diameter(LVESD) in patient group,descripted function change of their heart.ELISA method was used to measure the content of IL-18 in 15 cases of control group and 36 cases of patient group.All data were analyzed by SPSS 11.5 software.Results 1.The LVESD in shock group were larger than that in non-heart failure group and heart failure group,abnormality probability of LVFS and EF step up from non-heart failure group to heart failure group and to shock group.2.The serum IL-18 level in patient group was higher than that in control group (P
2.Analysis of the relationship between the renal hemodynamic changes and MELD score

Objective To study the relationship between the renal hemodynamic changes and the course of the liver diseases and demonstrate weather the renal blood flow resistance index(RI)could be a useful index used to predict the hepatorenal syndrome(HRS)in the decompensated cirrhosis.Methods Select 41 patients diagnosed as decompensated cirrhosis from the patients examined by color Doppler ultrasonography at the Infectious Disease Department of Peking University First Hospital from April 2004 to July 2006.Test the serum creatinine,serum total bilirubin and INR,confirm the cause of the cirrhosis,and then calculate the MELD score.Detect by color Doppler ultrasonography to get RI.Results No correlation was found between RI and the patients's age,hemoglobin and systolic pressure.RI was found to be directly related with MELD score(r= 0.502,P

1 ? 25-dihydroxy-vitamin D3(1? 25 (OH)2 D3)induced differentiation of human promyelocytic leukaemia cells ( HL-60 ) into mature myeloid cells in vitro. The ratio of nuclei to cytoplasma decreased; Their nucleoli reduced; Cells became irrgular and extended the pseudopods. 1 ? 25 (OH ) 2 D3 caused significant increase of nitroblue tetrazolium ( NBT ) reduction and ?-non-specific acid esterase (?-NAE ) and acid phosphatase (ACP ) activities. These data and morphological characteristics suggest that HL-60 cells were conclusively identified as monocytes/macrophages. The histogram of DNA distribution ahylyzed by flow cytometry demonstrated G0 + G1 phase increased and S phase increased and S phase decreased remarkably after treatment with l?, 25 ( OH ) 2 D3 as compared with untreated cells.
4.Clinical observation of the influence of cigarette smoking on digit replantation

Objective To analyze the effect of cigarette smoking on replantation of amputed digit, investigate the pathologic mechanism of vascular crisis(VC) caused by smoking. Methods 1)The replantation risk factor such as smoking to VC and blood insufficiency of replanted digit was reviewed in 1 685 cases of digit replantation. 2)The complications after digit replantation in short and long terms among patients smoking were compared with those not smoking after operation. The results of management and time of appearance VC was assayed. 3)The possible pathologic mechanism of VC caused by smoking was analyzed. Results 1)A significant correlation between the ratio of VC, blood insufficiency of replanted digit and smoking index(SI, the number of cigarette in a day multiplies the years of smoking) was found. 2)The rate of VC, wound infection and unhealing in short term and the feeling of pain, numbness and cool in the long term in patients smoking after operation (92.6%,55.6%,48.1% and 71.6%) was obviously more than that in non smoking patients(17.8%,9.3%,2.0% and 3.0%,P
5.Myocardial protective effects of hemodilution and ligustrazine against ischemia/reperfusion injury in rabbits

Objective To investigate the protective effects of isovolemic hemodilution with 6% hetastarch (HAES) and ligustrazine on myocardium against ischemia/reperfusion injury. Methods Thirty-two healthy male rabbits were anesthetized with 3% pentobarbital 30 mg?kg-1 , tracheotomized and mechanically ventilated. Left femoral artery and vein were cannulated for direct BP monitoring, blood collection and fluid infusion. Chest was opened and myocardial ischemia was produced by temporary ligation of the anterior descending branch of left coronary artery. Myocardial ischemia was confirmed by elevation or depression of S-T segment and /or high T-wave. The animals were randomly divided into 4 equal groups with 8 animals in each group: Ⅰ control group was subjected to 45 min myocardial ischemia followed by 180 min reperfusion without any treatment; Ⅱ hemodilution group in which 9 ml Ⅲ kg-1 blood was removed and blood volume was maintained by simultaneous infusion of equal volume of 6% HAES at 20 min after myocardial ischemia was started; Ⅳ ligustrazine group received ligustrazine injectio 20 mg?kg-1 iv 20 min before and 40 min after myocardial ischemia was started; Ⅱ hemodilution + ligustrazine group in which hemodilution was performed as in group Ⅲ and ligustrazine injectio was given iv as in group Ⅲ . BP and HR were recorded before during and at the end of myocardial ischemia, and at 30, 60, 120, 180 min of reperfusion. Hct was measured before and after hemodilution. Blood samples were taken for determination of plasma CPK and LDH activities before ischemia (T0), at the end of 45 min ischemia (T1) and at the end of 180 min reperfusion (T2 ) . At the end of the experiment, myocardial tissue 0.2 g was obtained from ischemic and non-ischemic area for determination of myocardial CPK and LDH activities and election microscopic examination. 6.Analysis of Target Organ Damage in Youth with Pre-hypertension

Objective To explore target organ damage in the youth with pre-hypertension. Methods 77 consecutive youth visiting our institution form 2008 to 2010 were divided into pre-hypertension group (n=32) and control group (n=45). The relevance of left ventricular mass index (LVMI), left ventricular end-diastolic diameter (LVDd), interventricular septum thickness (IVST), left ventricular posterior wall thickness (LVPWT), carotid plaque intima-media thickness (IMT) and glomerular filtration rate (GFR) were compared. Results The blood pressure of pre-hypertension group was higher than that of control group, and the pre-hypertension group followed higher family hypertension history (P<0.05). There was no difference in LVDd, IVST, LVPWT, carotid plaque IMT and GFR between 2 groups (P>0.05). Compared with the control group, LVMI increased (P<0.05) and the E/A ratio decreased (P<0.05). Conclusion Target organ damage in pre-hypertension youth is salient compared with changes in renal function and damage of arteriosclerosis, and heart damage is more often occurred in the obese youth with pre-hypertension.
7.Comparison of laboratory detection between infectious mononucleosis and mucocutaneous lymphnode syndrome

Objective To analyze the laboratory detection findings in infectious mononucleosis(IM) and mucocutaneous lymphnode syndrome(MCLS)and find the main points of the differential diagnosis and direct the treatment. Methods Five hundreds and twenty-five children were in-patient department over these past 10 years .These patients were divided into 2 groups,IM group (225 patients) and MCLS group(280 patients). EB-virus antibody,Paul-Bunnell test,the circumference blood numeration ,classification of leucocytes,the numeration of atypical lymphocytes were detected and compared,as well as blood platelet of these patients.Results The positive rate of EB-virus antibody in IM and MCLS were high, and had no discrepancy. However, the positive rate of Paul-Bunnell test and numeration of atypical lymphocyte in IM group were significantly higher than those in MCLS group. The total circumference blood leucocyte numeration of the groups increased,but the numeration neutrophil increased significantly in MCLS group, the rising numeration of lymphocyte in IM; the blood platelet numeration was elevated significantly in MCLS group and continued when the total circumference blood leucocyte numeration tended normally.Conclusions The causes of IM and MCLS are related to the infection of EB-virus. The laboratory characteristics of IM and MCLS are different,understanding the main points of the differential diagnosis contributes to the clear diagnose and early treatment.
8.Application of seven prediction models of vaginal birth after cesarean in a Chinese hospital

Objective:To evaluate the seven existing vaginal birth after cesarean (VBAC)screening tools and to identify additional factors that may predict VBAC or failed trial of labor in China.Methods:In the study,53 patients with 1 previous cesarean delivery who then delivered between January 1,2007 and Novenber 31,2014 were recruited.The average age of the patients was (32.1 ±3.5 )years,the average gestational age was (38.0 ±2.3)weeks.There was no significant difference of the successful group and the failed group in the maternal /neonatal mortality and morbidity,also in the incidence of the postpartum hemorrhage and the postpartum infection.The probability of VBAC was calculated for each participant using 7 prediction models created by Weinstein,Flamm,Grobman,Gonen,Troyer,Smith and Torri.The data were analyzed using t test,rank-sum test,and receiver operating curve analysis. Results:44 trial of labor patients had a vaginal birth after cesarean delivery,and the successful rate was 83%.The scores between the successful group and the failed group had significant difference when eva-luated by Weinstein and Grobman scoring models only.After recalculating the successful rate of VBAC in different score levels according to the references,there was significant difference between the rates of dif-ferent score levels when evaluated by the Weinstein model.The successful rates of different score levels were higher compared to the references (<50%)when evaluated by the Troyer (70%),Gonen (60%),Torri (85.7%)models.The area under the receiver operating characteristic curve of Weinstein prediction model (0.746)and Flamm prediction model (0.723)were more than 0.7,and there was no significant difference between the seven models.Conclusion:Among the seven scoring models,the Weinstein model is more applicable to the population of our country,but a new model more applying to Chinese women still needs to be created.
9.Correlation analysis between mental health and work engagement of nurses

Objective:To investigate the status of mental health and work engagement of clinical nurses, to explore the correlation between them, and to provide scientific basis for improving the mental health and increase work engagement levels of nurses.Methods:From August to September 2018, 1 140 nurses in Taihe Hospital of Shiyan City of Hubei Province · Affiliated Hospital of Hubei University of Medicine were selected as survey objects by convenient sampling method, and the mental health and work engagement of nurses were investigated by Symptom Checklist-90 (SCL-90) and Utrecht Work Engagement Scale (UWES-9), correlation analysis was used to explore the relationship between mental health and work engagement, and multiple linear regression was used to analyze the influencing factors of work engagement in clinical nurses.Results:The score of SCL-90 of clinical nurses was 123.01±38.14 and the score of UWES-9 was 3.53±1.40. Correlation analysis showed that the nurse with total scores of mental health and work engagement, vitality, dedication, and concentration were negative correlation( r values were -0.250--0.218, P<0.01). Multiple linear regression analysis showed that age, depression, and paranoia were the influencing factors of clinical nurses work engagement ( t values were 4.682, -3.211, -2.715, P<0.01). Conclusions:The mental health level of nurses is good, and their work engagement level is average. Mental health is closely related to work engagement. Nursing managers should take effective measures to improve the mental health and increase work engagement levels of nurses.
10.A Reusable Chronocoulometric Aptamer Sensor for Detection of Adenosine Triphosphate

A reusable chronocoulometric adenosine triphosphate (ATP)-aptamer sensor was developed in this work.A short chain of DNA marked as cDNA containing complementary sequence was immobilized on gold electrode based on Au-S self-assembly.The ATP aptamer was hybridized with cDNA.The surface-confined DNA could bind with [Ru(NH3)63+ (RuHex) in the electrolyte via electrostatic interaction.Upon target ATP binding, the aptamer confined onto electrode surface was disassociated from the cDNA oligonucleotides into the solution.Such surface density change of DNA lead to the decrease of chronocoulometric signal for the RuHex which confined on the electrode surface.The chronocoulometric signals showed a linear relationship with logrithm of ATP concentration in the range of 1 nmol/L to 100 μmol/L, and the detection limit of this aptamer sensor could reach 0.5 nmol/L (S/N=3).This aptamer sensor could be regenerated 5 times by simple steps.With this aptamer sensor, the basal level of ATP in the brain cortex micorodialysate was determined to be 19.2±3.7 nmol/L (n=3).
