Objective:To investigate whether or not the?-aminobutyric acid(GABA)receptor subtype B genes are associated with idiopathic generalize epilepsy(IGE).Methods:three single nucleotide polymorphisms(SNPs)which loci nearly exon 7 was used as genetic markers.Both case-control study as well as based on Bi-PASA technique were used in 110 with IGE and 110 controls to conduct association analysis.Results:The allele frequencies of these SNPs in Chinese normal population are in good agreement with Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium.The heterozygosity of SNP rs3025627 and rs3025628 and rs29220 are 0.412 and 0.426 and 0.412 respectively.The allele of frequency of heterozygote type of the mutation type of TT in rs3025627 are higher in IGE patients than those in normal controls(P
3.Effect of CO2 laser in treatment of condyloma acuminatum: a report of 63 cases

Objective To observe efficacy of treatment comdyloma acuminatum with CO2 laser. Methods A local infiltration anesthesia was engaged in 29 cases of females with genital pointel condyloma and 3cases of males with anus pointed condyloma,and a compression anesthesia was conducted on the penis root of 31 cases of males with genital pointed condyloma,CO2 laser with 5 ~ 15 W output power was focused on skin lesion until it was singed then to carbon or gas. Results 24 cases of females recover,29cases of males recover,the cure rate was 84%. Conclusion CO2 laser is one basic cure for condyloma acuminatum sufferers.
4.Detection of R-wave in Fetal EGG Based on Wavelet Transform and Matched Filtering.

By analyzing the characteristics of maternal abdominal ECG (Electrocardiogram), a method based on wavelet transform and matched filtering is proposed to detect the R-wave in fetal EGG (FECG). In this method, the high-frequency coefficients are calculated by using wavelet transform. First, the maternal QRS template is obtained by using the arithmetic mean scheme. Finally, the R-wave of FECG is detected based on matched filtering. The experimental results show that this method can effectively eliminate the noises, such as the maternal ECG signal and baseline drift, enhancing the accuracy of the detection of fetal ECG.

5.Analysis on the Utilization of Drug for Bony Metastasis Cancer in Our Hospital from 2006 to 2009

OBJECTIVE:To investigate the status quo and tendency of the utilization of drug for bony metastasis cancer in our hospital. METHODS:The utilization of drug for bony metastasis cancer in our hospital from 2006 to 2009 was analyzed statistically. RESULTS:The total amount of the drug for bony metastasis cancer had been increasing. Pamidronate took up the first place of the consumption sum list and accounted for 80% of total consumption sum. Top one drug in the list of DDDs was domestical pamidronate. Utilization rate of disodium clodronate increased form 0.67% in 2006 to 31.68% in 2009. The order of DDC had not changed during 2006~2009. CONCLUSION:In recent year the drug for bony metastasis cancer has been rational and has become curative effect-oriented rather than price-oriented.
6.The inhibitory effects of PNS oncardiac hypertrophy and its nervous mechanism

Aim To investigate the antagonistic action o f total saponins of panaxnotoginseng(PNS) on cardiac hypertrophy and its nervous mechanism.Methods (1)cardiac hypertrophy of rats due to pressure overload was induced by constricting of abdominal aorta. There were five groups in the experiments. The rats in Group A(control group)were sham operated . Group B was aorta-constricted group.The rats in Group C,D,E were given ip PNS 50,100,150 mg?kg?d -1 for three weeks respectively. Three weeks later, We measured the heart-weight(HW),left ventricular weight(LVW), the ratio of HW/BW,LVW/BW (LVI) and the cardiomyocyte diameters(MD) after dyeing by HE color.(2)The effects of PNS on the fast excitatory postsynaptic potential(f-EPSP),membrane depolarization induced by application of acetylcholine (ACh),membrane potential and membrane resistance of the isolated Stellate ganglion(SG)of the rats were investigated by means of intracellular recording techniques. Results (1)HW/BW, LVI and MD of Group E were significantly lower than that of Group B(P0.05).(2)At the concentration of 0.10 ~0.16 g?L -1, PNS reversibly depressed the amplitude of f-EPSP, but the ACh depolarization,membrane potential and membrane resistance were not significantly altered by PNS. Conclusion PNS can prevent cardiac hypertrophy due to pressure overload in rats and this action may underline its inhibitory action on presyn aptic effect of regulating calcium influx.
7.Effect of human ovarian cancer cell apoptosis induced by arsenic trioxide on telomerase activity

Objective To investicate the effect of apoptosis of human ovarian cancer cell line SKOV_(3) and 3AO exposed to arsenic trioxide on telomerase activity and its mechanisms.Methods The human ovarian cancer cell line SKOV3 and 3OA were treated with arsenic trioxide of different concentration for 12,24,72 h.Cell morphology,PCR-ELISA,RT-PCR were adopted to detect the cell apoptosis and telomerase activity and the expression of human telomerase catalytic subunit(hTERT).Results Arsenic trixide could induce apoptisis of ovarian cancer cell lines,but there exists difference in drug concentration,type of cell line.A dose and time-dependent decline of telomerase activity after SKOV_(3) and 3AO cells exposed to arsenic trixide,meanwhile hTERT mRNA was down-regulated.Conclusion Telomerase activity and hTERT mRNA expression have close relationship and play an important role in arsenic trioxide inducing SKOV_(3) and 3AO cells apoptosis.
8.Morphological changes of mitochondria in apoptosis of human ovarian cancer cells induced by arsenic trioxide in vitro

Objective To investigate the morphological changes of mitochondria and the expression of bcl-2 in the apoptotic SKOV3 and 3AO cells induced by arsenic trioxide (As2O3). Methods Light and electron microscopy, flow cytometry analysis, immunofluorescence flow cytometry analysis were used to detect the apoptotic cells, ultrastructural alteration of mitochondria, and the changes of mitochondrial transmembrane potentials (??m). Results As2O3 induced apoptosis of ovarian cancer cell lines was in a dose dependent manner and various in different cell lines. As2O3 also made a decrease of ??m in SKOV3 and 3AO cells in a dose independent fashion. Electron microscopy indicated that the mitochondria showed swollen, balloon-like appearance and outer membrane disrupted 72 h after As2O3 treatment. Expression of bcl-2 was down-regulated in SKOV3 and 3AO cells after As2O3 treatment. Conclusion The reduce of ??m and down-regulation of bcl-2 may play the key roles in the process of As2O3-induced apoptosis.

In this paper a series of gait quantitative assessment indexes:phase symmetry index,verti-cal force symmetry index,equilibrium function index,and brake and drive function indexes are obtainedwith VICON 3-dimensinal movement analysis system according to the results that 40 amputees,50 cerebralpalsy patients, 31 hemiplegia patients and 19 paraplegia are evaluated and the differences between the nor-mal and the abnormal(p<0.001)found with these indexes. The quantitative assessment methed of walk-ing function not only provides rehabilitation level of patients and for checking therapeutical effects,but alsolaies the foundation of gait analysis to standardization and practicalization further.
