1.The clinical progress of antisense technology in the treatment of cancer
Journal of Medical Postgraduates 2003;0(12):-
According to the base complementation, the principle antisense technology is the sequence specific binding of complementary antisense nucleic acids or their chemical modification to the nucleic acids in cells, resulting in the suppression or prevention of gene translation. For the treatment of cancer, a lot of antisense drugs have been designed, which target the genes involved in the pathogenesis of cancer. And some of them have been in clinical trials. The author reviewed the progress of the clinical trials of these antisense drugs.
2.Evaluation of the effect of neonatal hepatitis B vaccine and the prevention of low and no responders
Chinese Journal of Biochemical Pharmaceutics 2017;37(8):354-355,359
Objective To evaluate the immunological effect of neonatal hepatitis B vaccine and to prevent the immunization effect of low and no responders. Methods A total of 1,200 infants were selected from Yantai City, Shandong Province. All the infants were immunized for the first time after birth, and were inoculated with brewer's yeast hepatitis B vaccine 5μg. The venous blood of the infant was taken to separate the serum and the geometric mean concentration of anti-HBs in serum by using chemiluminescent microparticle immunoassay. Of which 128 cases were low, no response were immunized again: 71 cases were treated with brewer's yeast hepatitis B vaccine 5μg and 57 cases were inoculated with 10%Hansenula hepatitis B vaccine again and again, three times. The results of the re-immune were evaluated . Results There were 80 cases (62.5%) wtith normal response, 23 cases (17.9%) with high response, 22 cases (17.2%) with low response, 3 cases (2.3%) with no response The immunization response rate of HBsAg positive in fathers and mothers was significantly lower than that in county, city and above, and the fathers' mother HBsAg was negative. There was no significant difference in the positive rate of antibody transfection between the first and the third of the above two yeasts, but the geometric mean concentration of anti-HBs was significantly lower for both vaccines, and the brewer's yeast vaccine was significantly lower. Conclusion The immune response rate of hepatitis B vaccine in children with HBsAg-negative mothers at the county, municipal and above hospitals is relatively high. Compared with the brewer's yeast vaccine, the effect of the hepatitis B vaccine is obviously better .
3.Application of thiocyanate elution in the selection of phage antibodies with high affinity
Chinese Journal of Immunology 1985;0(02):-
Objective:To establish a method for the selection of phage antibodies(Phabs) with higher affinity. Methods:Simulant libraries were constructed using anti keratin and anti HBsAg Phabs with different affinities.During the panning procedure, thiocanate solutions of different concentrations were used as elution buffers to favor the recovery of Phabs with higher affinities. The recovered Phabs were identified by restriction enzyme mapping. Results:All the tested Phabs were proved tolerant to thiocyanate treatment.By panning the simulant libraries, the ratio of Phabs with higher affinity in the obtained clones were increased alonging with the increase of NH 4SCN concentrations. Conclusion:Thiocyanate elution is a powerful and effective method to help obtain the Phabs with high affinity from phage antibody library.
4.Recent Research Progress and Development Direction of Autofluorescence Diagnosis Technology.
Journal of Biomedical Engineering 2015;32(6):1348-1353
Autofluorescence has great advantage on detecting premalignant lesions and early cancers which are not detectable by conventional white light endoscopy (WLE). In this review, the recent advances in autofluorescence for diagnosis of precancerous lesions and early cancers are presented. Varieties of endogenous fluorophores in biological tissues, the potential mechanisms of the autofluorescence differences between normal and abnormal tissues, the selection of light source and optimal excitation wavelengths, and effective algorithms for processing autofluorescence data are highlighted. Finally, the shortages and improvement directions of autofluorescence technique for the diagnosis of precancerous lesions and early cancers are briefly discussed.

5.Progress of minimal residual disease detection in multiple myeloma
Journal of Leukemia & Lymphoma 2021;30(1):58-61
In recent years, with the application of a variety of new drugs, the prognosis of patients with multiple myeloma (MM) has been significantly improved, and the survival time has been significantly prolonged, but almost patients will relapse eventually. The persistent existence of minimal residual disease (MRD) is considered to be the root cause of disease recurrence. Therefore, the detection of MRD in MM patients is of great clinical significance, which would contribute to evaluate the efficacy of MM, accelerate clinical trials, dynamic risk stratification, and further guide the treatment strategy. However, until now, there are no standard method and evaluation criteria of MRD detection. This review focuses on the advantages and disadvantages of different methods, clinical applications and future development direction of MRD detection in MM.
6.Epigenetic modification in human leukemia.
Journal of Experimental Hematology 2006;14(4):635-638
Epigenetic modification, which involve DNA methylation, RNA-associated silencing and histone modification, is implicated in cell proliferation, differentiation, survival, apoptosis and malignant transformation. Some leukemogenesis has been shown to be aberrance of epigenetic modification. This paper discussed the potential causes of some of leukemias correlating with the methylation of cell cycle regulation genes, small interference RNA and modification abnormality of histone after translation. The study on epigenetic modification abnormality of leukemia cells provides a new strategy for treatment of leukemia.

7.Problems in quality standard research of new traditional Chinese medicine compound.
China Journal of Chinese Materia Medica 2014;39(17):3389-3391
The new traditional Chinese medicine compound is the main part of the research of new drug of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), and the new Chinese herbal compound reflects the characteristics of TCM theory. The new traditional Chinese medicine compound quality standard research is one of the main content of pharmaceutical research, and is also the focus of the new medicine pharmaceutical evaluation content. Although in recent years the research level of new traditional Chinese medicine compound has been greatly improved, but the author during the review found still some common problems existing in new traditional Chinese medicine compound quality standard research data, this paper analyzed the current quality standards for new traditional Chinese medicine compound and the problems existing in the research data, respectively from measurement of the content of index selection, determine the scope of the content, and the quality standard design concept, the paper expounds developers need to concern. The quality of new traditional Chinese medicine compound quality standard is not only itself can be solved, but quality standards is to ensure the key and important content of product quality, improving the quality of products cannot do without quality standards. With the development of science and technology, on the basis of quality by design under the guidance of the concept, new traditional Chinese medicine compound quality standard system will be more scientific, systematic and perfect.

Zhi-Gang LIU ; Yan REN ;
Chinese Journal of Primary Medicine and Pharmacy 2006;0(08):-
Objective To investigate the effect of internal fixative operation with special-shaped plate on Pi- lon fracture. Methods 84 cases of Pilon fracture were treated respectively by continuous skeletal traction of calca- neus, internal fixative operation with general steel plate or Kirschner wire,or internal fixative operation with special- shaped plate. Results All the cases were followed up for 6 months to 2 years postoperatively. The rate of being ex- cellent and fine of 3 groups treated by 3 different methods was 42%,61% and 72 % separately. Conclusion Inter- nal fixative operation with special-shaped plate is a good way to treat Pilon fracture for its less complication and more recuperation and retention of function for anklebone.
