BACKGROUND:Lumbar disc herniation is the most common cause of lumbago in clinic, which seriously affect the patient's daily life, study and work. Therefore, studies on biomechanics of lumbar intervertebral disk benefit to prevent and treat the diseases associated with lumbar intervertebral disk. OBJECTIVE: To summarize the biomechanical progress of lumbar intervertebral disk. METHODS: The first author retrieved China National Knowledge Infrastructure and PubMed database for literatures published from 2009 to 2014. The key words were intervertebral disc, nucleus pulposus, biomechanics, fibrosis annulus, cartilage in Chinese and English, respectively. Articles regarding biomechanical characteristics of lumbar intervertebral disk, nucleus pulposus, fibrosis annulus and cartilage were included, and repetitive studies were excluded. Totaly 5 072 articles were retrieved initialy. In accordance with inclusion and exclusion criteria, 41 articles were included in result analysis. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:We can fuly understand the pathogenesis, development and adverse consequences of diseases related to the lumbar intervertebral disk by summarizing the structural features and internal pressure of lumbar intervertebral disk and the effect of different loads, biomechanical characteristics of lumbar intervertebral disk with degenerative changes and establishment of mechanical model of lumbar intervertebral disk. It is of directive significance for daily health care of the lumbar intervertebral disk and how to better use force, a physical factor, to solve the lumbar intervertebral disk problems.

Objective To summarize the clinical features,treatment and prognosis of bullous systemic lupus erythematosus (BSLE).Methods Clinical data were collected from 6 cases of BSLE between May 2009 and September 2015,and were analyzed retrospectively.Results Among the 6 patients,2 were male and 4 were female.The mean age of onset was 34 years.All the 6 patients presented with tense blisters and bullae arising on an erythematous base or normal skin,which were arranged in an annular pattern in 3 patients.The SLE Disease Activity Index (SLEDAI) score was ＞ 4 in all the 6 patients.Histopathological examination showed subepidermal blisters or fissures in all the patients.Direct immunofluorescence (DIF) revealed continuous linear deposition of immunoglobulin G (IgG),IgM and IgA in all the patients,linear deposition of C3 in 4 patients,and linear deposition of Clq in 2 patients at the basement membrane zone (BMZ).All the 6 patients were treated with oral glucocorticoids and hydroxychloroquine,and 2 patients were additionally treated with cyclophosphamide.During the follow-up period,adverse reactions to different extents were observed in the 6 patients.Conclusions BSLE mainly occurs in young and middle-aged people.Histopathologically,subepidermal blisters or fissures can be observed with linear deposition of IgG,IgM,IgA,or C3 along the basement membrane zone on DIF.

Objective To investigate the association between HLA-DRB1 alleles and pemphigus vulgaris (PV) in a Han population in Sichuan.Methods Polymerase chain reaction with sequencespecific primer (PCR-SSP) method was used for low-resolution and high-resolution typing of HLA-DRB1 alleles in 19 patients of Han nationality with PV and 25 healthy controls in Sichuan.Allele frequencies were calculated,and differences in the allele frequency between the above two groups were compared by using chisquare test.Results Totally,9 kinds of DRB 1 low-resolution alleles and 19 kinds of DRB 1 high-resolution alleles were identified in the PV patients and healthy controls.Frequencies of the DRB1* 14 allele (39.47％[15/38] vs.8.00％[4/50],x2 =17.43,P ＜ 0.05) and DRB1*1405 allele (15.79％[6/38] vs.2.00％[1/50],x2 =4.25,P ＜ 0.05) were significantly higher in the PV patients than in the healthy controls.Conclusion The HLA-DRB1*14 allele may be a common susceptibility gene for PV in the Han population in Sichuan,and the HLA-DRB1* 1405 allele may be most closely associated with PV.

This study collected demographic data, past history, personal history, family history, dosage, solvent, combined medication information of adverse reaction cases from a prospective, multi center, large sample intensive hospital monitoring, and found the influencing factors with cross-tab analysis. The results showed that in the medication group of 19-45, patients with allergic histories had a higher proportion in ADR; in the medication group of 46-65, male patients with allergic histories had a higher proportion in ADR; indication and non-indication group, patients of 19-45 years old, with combined medications and allergy histories had a higher proportion in ADR; Non-indication medication group, patients with combined medication, higher concentration, out-instruction solvent and dosage, had a higher proportion in ADR. So, the ADRs of Shenfu injection were related to the history of drug allergy, and also related to the indication, dosage, solvent, concentration when it was used.

Objective: To investigate the bonding strength of different resin composites .Methods:Methacrylate-based resin APX and silorane-based resin composite P90 were chosen in this study , with their corresponding adhesives Clearfil SE Bond ( SE) and Filtek P90 System Adhesive ( SA) .The speci-mens were divided into three groups:(1) bulk group, filling each block with the same composite , then curing;(2) direct filling group, curing and polishing one composite , then filling a new composite direct-ly;( 3 ) bonding group , after curing and polishing one composite , conditioning the surface with adhe-sives, then filling a new composite.Cut each resin blocks into 1 mm ×1 mm ×14 mm each piece, detec-ting the microtensile strength , and analyzing by One-Way ANOVA and LSD .Results: ( 1 ) The micro-tensile strength of the bulk group was the highest .(2) In direct filling group, the microtensile strength of 4 subgroups showed no statistical significance with each other but lower than that of the bulk group .(3) In bonding group, the microtensile strength of repairing with APX was higher than that with P 90.When repairing with same composite , the microtensile strength was higher if the resin type of substrates was same with restorations than that was different .The microtensile strength of adhesives SE was higher than that of SA.(4) The sorting of the microtensile strength: bulk>SE bonding APX >SA bonding APX>SE bonding P90=direct filling>SA bonding P90.Conclusion:Retention force is higher when substrates are repaired with methacrylate-based resins and corresponding adhesives .Retention force is lower when repaired with silorane-based composites and corresponding adhesives .Types of the substrate composites show no influence on the bonding strength .

AIM: To examine the effect of protamine sulfate, lipopolysaccharide(LPS),tumor necrosis factor(TNF), epidermal growth factor(EGF) and " Bushen Huoxue Xiezhuo" (BHX) decoction on the proliferation of extracorporeal cultured rat glomerular epithelial cells (GEC). METHODS: Their action on the proliferation of rat GEC were investigated using the -TdR incorporation. Meanwhile, the serum of rats treated with BHX decoction was extracted pharmacologically and its effects on the growth of GEC were also studied. RESULTS: LPS, protamine sulfate, TNF-? and EGF could significantly inhibit the -TdR incorporation of GEC in a dose- and time-dependent manner. However, this inhibition could be efficiently reversed by the serum containing BHX decoction. CONCLUSION: GEC is one of the main target cells on which BHX decoction act, and the protection on GEC might be one of the mechanisms underlying the role of BHX decoction in preventing the progression of nephrosis.

Abstrac:Objective To analyze the efficacy and safety of medpor-coated tear drain in lacrimal bypass surgery without skin incision. Methods The data of 7 patients(7 eyes) who underwent no skin incision of lacrimal bypass surgery with medpor-coated tear drain were ret-rospective reviewed. The operation result and complications were observed. Results All patients were followed up for 5~17 months. Com-plete or significant improvement of epiphora was achieved in 5 cases at the last follow-up. Complications included conjunctival granulation hy-perplasia (3 eyes),nasal mucosal granulation hyperplasia (2 eyes),and discomfort (4 eyes). Conclusion The lacrimal bypass surgery with medpor-coated tear drain could be expected to improve epiphora of refractory lacrimal obstruction. The main complications are granulation hyperplasia and discomfort.

Objective To learn the psychological needs of the hospital staff in terms of their life,medical care and psychological health.Methods 2910 hospital staff were interviewed with questionnaires and the outcomes analyzed with x2 test and descriptive analysis.Results 96.9％of the surveyed found themselves in need of psychological counseling; considerable consulting needs of the staff; most of them turn to friends to complain instead of their leaders.Conclusion The psychological counseling should be enhanced to build effective communication channels and ease stress of the staff.
